This is the eBook of the printed book and may not include any media, website access codes, or print supplements that may come packaged with the. On the material itself - I have found First up, most major annoyance with this book: Chapters are not clearly marked. Telling the difference between Chapter 4, exercise section 1, and chapter 5, exercise section 1, when you're simply going for the homework exercises, takes some care.
The hardcover edition is marked better. On the material itself - I have found the material inside to be minimally useful.
I often end up going to the internet instead. To be fair, I end up doing it this way for most math textbooks.
I'm surprised at the negative reviews, and wonder if they are looking at an earlier addition. The subject can be dry, and as a math book, filled with unfamiliar symbols for those learning the material. Lots of example problems with answers in the back, and loads of exercises, many of which have the explanations in the back as well. The downside is that there were errors on The explanations within this book are definitely on par with the book.
Also, the solutions are clear and cohesive; I would definitely recommend.
The downside is that there were errors on page 94 of the book. Terrible, sections are poorly organized and new topics aren't well established. Its reads like a normal book instead of a textbook, its hard to figure out things.
Also it brings up a lot of new stuff in the exercises for some reason. To make things even more annoying it doesn't even have that many solutions.
