Dicit possit eam an, liber vocent accusata vim ei. Using NLP methods, I have modeled very confident people and included what they do in this book. By doing what they do, you will achieve the same resourcefi. From how confident people think about things to how they speak to how they carry their bodies, you will find in this book how confident people move through the world. Chapter one describes my background of being painfully shy and how I overcame my shyness.
It continues on with having the reader set some very specific goals about what they want out of this book so that they can focus in and accomplish what they want. Chapter two teaches the reader to speak the language of confidence. They learn how to speak authoritatively and harness the power of confident words. Furthermore, the reader learns how to eliminate the confidence destroying words from his or her vocabulary.
Chapter three details the nine factors of unstoppable confidence. There are different factors that go into making someone confident and they are described in this chapter. The reader will learn how to use momentum to their benefit, how to commit to success, and how to discover their own natural motivation strategy.
Chapter four goes into depth about the topic of beliefs.
The audiobook's narrator was particularly motivational, which also helped. A bunch of nonsensical Voo Doo crap with no evidence as to why these methods would ever work, or if they ever worked before. First, the book is like a long blog post, stuffed and expanded with a lot of unnecessary fluff of repeating the same thing over, and over, and over again.
It could've been 3 pages long with bullet points and short explanations in a few sentences. There's nothing else to this. Second, I'm very puzzled by the somewhat positive feedback on this book. Unstoppable Confidence MAY be good for a teenager who's still trying to figure things out in life, or for someone trying to reaffirm himself or herself about their beliefs on whether they're on the right path towards confidence.
However, if you're an adult, it's very likely this book will be worthless to you. Here's why: - Most of the content is common sense, things everybody already knows - The author makes a ton of false claims and goes with them as if they are true - A lot of rehashed content from other books, absolutely nothing new - The author constantly contradicts himself. For example: at first, he suggests making quick decisions, because that's what confident people do, according to him.
Then, a few pages later, he talks about taking time and considering all other options, and taking some time to think your decisions through. Just another sign that the author actually has a poor grasp of the subject matter and is simply trying to stuff a bunch of advice he has probably read from other books and blogs into this overextend, fluff-filled blog post in paperback form.
Here's an example: the author talks about the law of reciprocity as something everybody needs to employ, aka Karma, in order to be successful in life. He talks about the Universe supporting those who are attempting to help others.
