I partially enjoyed the scenes where she was with Tyler. They somehow looked lovely together, I would say.

Their chemistry was so obvious that I could almost see sparks flying between them every time they got near each other. Their 2. Their sexy times were undoubtedly well-written and well-placed. All in all, this was an ok read for me. Nothing particularly special about both the plot and characters; it was lovely, sweet, funny, and heartwarming though. View all 6 comments. Hence I had high expectations. Totally did not let me down. A heartwarming romance with two meddlesome aunts, a snooping neighbor, and enough comedy of errors to keep you hooked- this one had a heroine leading a double life for a good cause , a hero that is instantly hooked and pretty smart , some crazy dilemmas, hidden identities and overall loads of love and affection.

Very likable sweet characters with sizzling chemistry, and enough love for each other and their family.

If you like a kind hearted librarian heroine, an obsessed alpha but caring hero, and two bickering but loving aunts- you'll enjoy this one too. Overall a feel good romance with a cute epilogue too! Safe 4. A hidden gem, had some really funny moments and you understand Amelia's anxiety as she tries to follow her heart but is torn about leaving the Aunts in order to do so. May 26, Lyndi W. So I kinda hate the secret identity thing in romance novels.

It's the duplicity and deceit of it, I guess.

Making it even worse, this chick basically dates the guy as both women, forcing him to feel guilty and confused. There are better ways to pull off the double identity thing. I couldn't like Amelia because she was lying the whole time. I read most of Sharon Sala's stuff 2 years ago and I've been rereading all that I don't remember. After rereading this one, I hope I can remember that I really So I kinda hate the secret identity thing in romance novels.

After rereading this one, I hope I can remember that I really just don't like it. May 08, Amanda S. As much as I want to love this book, I can't.

It's a good book, and I enjoyed the chasing, but Amelia's a bit too.. I don't know, she needs to let her heart out. She's holding herself to tight and she deserves the best. Need more drama but overall I enjoyed it.

Just not my favorite. Jan 09, Delacey rated it it was amazing. I really liked this book. There was a nice mix of humour and tension in the story. The characters were great, with the secondary characters firmly supporting the plot. I really liked that the romance did not exist in a bubble, and in fact was greatly influenced by family. I wish the cover was different, as it doesn't really capture the feel of the book, and in fact, I wondered afterwards if the feel of the book was more of a Silhouette Romance than a Desire book.

Between the cover and 4. Between the cover and the book line it was in, the reader may be expecting a steamier book then this charming romance. Aug 21, Debbie rated it liked it Shelves: I first read this book a few years ago, because the main character is a librarian.

I've decided to read all the romances with librarians that I can find! I gave it 4 stars then, but this time it just seemed kind of silly and I'm downgrading it to 3 stars.

Sep 04, AelixRage rated it it was ok. This book was an "OK" read. It didn't really strike me as significant or memorable as a whole. What I did like was Tyler's character. He was every bit of an alpha male who takes charge but not to the point of rude and blatant arrogance like the heroes in most novellas.

As for Amelia's character, I think the author mishandled her supposed duality. I do understand that she was cossetted by her aunts but she was presented in such a way that you'd think she was an intelligent woman. It was proven o This book was an "OK" read. That should have given her some sort of premonition or logical conclusion that Tyler had an idea that they were one and the same.

In my opinion, Amber disappeared too early in the story to make the concept of duality convincing. On the other hand, I absolutely adored Rosemary! She's so funny! I'd like to have an aunt like her, all vibrant and "sensible" even in old age. I liked that she seems to understand things beyond what is said and have a kind of "live in the moment" attitude like when she view spoiler [ rebuked Effie at one point and then asked her to help them on another hide spoiler ].

He pays a cabbie a lot of money and goes to a hotel for the evening leaving Billie wanting more. Two years later, Billie decides to go with a group of friends to one of their father's ranch for the week. When she arrives she not only finds her misterious cowboy again but finds out that he is Scott's father. As I got further in this book it turns out to be less of a "second chance romance", they only shared a kiss in the moments that they had know eachother before, and more of a love triangle between Billie, Matt and Matt's son Scott.

Even though Billie states over and over that she has no feelings for Scott other than friendship it just wasn't my cuppa. The writting seemed amaturish and I hate when the author "forcasts" Dec 17, Selcas rated it liked it. Matt and Billie choose to remain silent about their past encounter and this begins a complicated and emotion-charged situation. This was an emotion packed booked, with some beautifully tender romantic moments, but also many moments of turmoil and depression. Billie was quite a needy and complicated figure, with a lot of past emotional hurts that continually emerge through her actions, thoughts and relationships.

Parts of the plot did drag out and some of Billie's choices frustrated me. However the beauty and tenderness of the relationship between Billie and Matt kept drawing me back. May 06, Lori rated it liked it. I finally finished the book. I liked it, Jessica loved it - it was somewhat slow for me in several parts. But I did enjoy the character of Billie, although I think she was on the "needy" side.

She could have been stronger in her actions. However, the author did develop Billie's character so that her weakness was justified. I would recommend it if you enjoy romance novels. It is romantic, but there is always a but with this book the age diffe recommended by Jessica - she loved it, so I'll try it! It is romantic, but there is always a but with this book the age difference between Billie about 20 and Matt over 30 was took wide for my reading enjoyment.

I still thank you Jessica for recommending it! You're the best! Mar 30, April C rated it liked it Shelves: This is certainly not my normal read.. I enjoy more of the erotic romance. And although I might not pick this back up as a re-read for a while, I did enjoy the story. It was a very emotional read from front to end. I seem to throw myself into the shoes of the heroine and while with erotic romances, that can be all the fun in it!! But in this story, it was rough to say the least.

I would reccomend this story to anyone who enjoys romance with a story, but be warned that it will be an emotional ride This is certainly not my normal read.. I would reccomend this story to anyone who enjoys romance with a story, but be warned that it will be an emotional ride. Feb 28, BlueButterfly rated it it was amazing.

I loved, loved this book. I read it years ago when I checked it out from the library. I had been thinking about it but I could not remember the name. I even went on websites trying to find the book and the author. I just happened upon it again Sharon had me at hello with the meeting of these two at the airport. I must say that I have imagined meeting Mr Right at the airport. I also loved the push and pull between these two. Great re I loved, loved this book. Great read that I will return to again and again.

Jun 19, Andrea rated it really liked it Shelves: I have never read Sharon Sala but I looking forward to reading more from her in the future. I greatly enjoyed this novel. I story line was a little to predictable but still a great read. I was sad when it was over because I really got into the characters lives.

I would definitely recommend it to a friend. This is one of my favorite book by Sharon Sala.. The characters literally came to life right off thee pages and I found myself seep into the life of these individuals, each and everyone. The beautifuly poetic writing that flowed off the page transporting you right into the lives of the ones you were reading about.

I didn't want the story to end.. Jun 18, Vickie Fisher rated it it was amazing. If not for a used book store, I might never have discovered Sharon Sala, which would have definitely been my loss.

Looking forward to reading many more books by Sharon Sala. I have really liked or loved everything else I have read by this author. There is such a thing as too much misfortune and heartache. It was not one thing, but a culmination of tragedy after tragedy.

Having said that I still liked the story. I loved this book! Its a pity that the female lead had to go all psycho on us but i loved the whole loving someone even though they might not fully grasp how much you love them. And I loved the age gap between the characters. Some thing new and not often tried. Nov 15, Lacey Dunn rated it it was amazing. I loved this book. Still to this day, I find myself thinking about it.
