I get that shot with my mm for a wide-angle view of them kissing and everyone behind them standing up and clapping.

I was a little apprehensive, even though I love Jose's work, because so many people seem to want to make a quick buck off fellow photographers.
Ultimately, my love for Jose grew. He explained things beautifully. He was very open about everything he does. I enjoyed reading about how he shoots film, even though I do not. I respect that he has put so much out there in the form of a book, w I hadn't really considered this book until a photog friend told me about some fun tips she had leaned from it.
I respect that he has put so much out there in the form of a book, whereas so many people are charging thousands of dollars to be followed around by someone hoping to pick up a few pieces of valuable information. Key things I loved learning about- how Jose gets couples to relax and turn a "posed" photo into a comfortable one.

Jose Villa is a talented wedding photographer who shoots exclusively film. I've gotten so used to seeing nothing but digital photography anymore, than it was refreshing to see some film grain and relatively untouched images.
Almost enough to A great read for any wedding photographers who want to re-evaluate their business, or newbies looking to get into the business. Almost enough to make me want to shoot all film weddings, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. My name is Jonathan. I am a 18 year old photographer and truly have a passion for learning from the masters. Most inspiring location? The Abacaxis River of the Amazon. I grew up in northern Brazil, and every so often I would go visit my Brazilian sister.
It would take two day by flight and boat to get to her home. No electricity, no phone, no pollution, nothing but nature alone. Late at night we would get into a little canoe and it seemed as God has sprinkled powdered sugar over the sky. No other place in the world but in the heart of the Amazon have I seen so many stores. It blows my mind and puts the fragility of my own life in perspective with the awesomeness of Creation!

You rock! Okay you had asked for my most inspirational location that I have ever experienced not where to shoot. SO I would say that my 1 time visit to Quebec Canada. The old world feel and small brick roads. It is isolated by either a 3-hour boat ride or plane only and the scenery is incredible. I want it!!!
Wherever we go, whatever we do, she has the most amazing perspective and an innocent blissful way of expressing her excitement.
