Similar to my review of Langman, this book, which is one use by the national Board of chiropractic examiners, is just not well written and can't tell a good story. It's all over the place, just like Langman. If you bought both of these books, you would get a better story but still not a great story.

The Developing Human

Student still wouldn't understand embryology well at all, at no fault of their own. If I had to pick one, it would be Carlson which is by far the most comprehensive and tells a pretty good story.

Taken from an associate professor who is trying to build an advanced class on embryology, the only way to achieve this is to download all five books Larsen, Langman, Moore, Carlson, and Singh , read them, and then slowly put together your PowerPoint slides. You'll get a pretty good story this way.

Somebody who is a good storyteller needs to write a good embryology book. One person found this helpful.

Paperback Verified download. This book is just amazing. It is easy to follow and the picture diagrams and illustrations are perfectly placed to keep the reader awake and engaged. My prof who I beleive is the best, recommended this book as the Gold Standard and I can see why when I compare it to the others. It explains difficult to imagine concepts better than other recommended books. Easy to read. Great graphics.

Timeless book. Well written Good reference. One of the more helpful texts out there. Highly recommend! As expected.
