The Pre-Recorded Feast

All of the Feast of Tabernacles sermons are pre-recorded and posted on the PKG web site.  Last Great Day sermons as well.

Including one given by Jeremy Weinland.  Listening to it, sounds as though he’s reading from a script.  Perhaps prepared by the Silent Witness herself,

I listen to the first 5 minutes of Jeremy sermon and he said first thing to be born into God’s kingdom is humility. Well that lets about 90 percent of pkg out. Start with Ron there isn’t a humble bone in any of their beings.

  • Byker Bob says:

Good morning, Mr. Phelps! Ronald Weinland (see photo) has proclaimed himself and his wife Laura as the prophesied end times “two witnesses” described in the apocalyptic book of Revelation. He has used this and a number of false prophecies as undue influence on his followers, bilking them of their financial resources, amassing a fortune at their expense, a fortune on which he evaded taxes, and as a result is now a convicted felon serving time in a federal penetentiary somewhere in the midwest. He, his wife, and children are attempting to continue this scam by conducting the church’s annual convention via taped messages from his prison cell. Bubba, a known consort of Ron, with whom he shares a cell, is expected to assist Ron in evading the prison officials so that the sermon messages can be prepared. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to infiltrate this group, and to make sure that the sermons are recorded on our special IMF tape that self-destructs five seconds after Laura previews them. As usual, if any of your team is caught or captured in the course of this mission, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your activities. Good luck, Jim.

Not many comments lately… Folks must be busy feasting!

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Nick Young,

It was Steve’s son that left the gulag. Steve is a devout member of the gulag.

Ronco, I will be honest, I have no interest in listening to any of the gulag’s messages. To those who do, I would be interested in the comments that will appear here.

  • Ozymandias says:

I’m with you Elder, no interest at all.

  • Byker Bob says:

I wonder if any PKG members have seen their doctor, and gotten their medical marijuana cards before the feast. Led Zeppelin’s Celebration Day DVD is out now, and would probably make a wonderful Feast gift amongst boomers.

  • Glad I'm Free says:

Feasting? Don’t you mean drinking, women chasing, and then more drinking?

  • Ozymandias says:

Wow, who did you hang out with? LOL

  • Glad I'm Free says:

Just Gary, but that’s what he would do, right in front of me. But Ron kept saying it was my problem, so guess now they can deal with it.

  • Glad I'm Free says:

Or maybe I should say, people that said they were following God, (Ron)? To be fair, he claims he is just a friendly person and can’t help it if he flirts. To him it wasn’t flirting, just being sociable. Didn’t care how it would come across to me or even others, after all (God knows my heart). To me drinking to much was when you get back to your room you pass out on the bed, to tired to even undress. But that part no one ever saw, but me, so in his mind it was OK.

  • Byker Bob says:

Well, my personal opinion is that if you drink so much that you “crash” (have to go to sleep at an inappropriate or abnormal time), then you probably did have too much to drink. But, attitudes vary. I knew a church member back in the day who insisted that he never got drunk, because at a certain point in the drinking, he would go to sleep. Other members did feel that this gentleman had a drinking problem, and when attempts were made to “correct a brother”, that would be his response or defense.

As for the flirting, probably in self-policing, a guy should carefully look at the effect and reaction on the lady who is the object of his smiles, also whether or not he is creating a wrong impression or opinions amongst the other brethren, and especially on whether he is hurting his wife, or even making her feel uneasy. Would he behave in this same way if he were speaking to a guy whom he knew was gay? Single people do tend to interpret friendly behavior as an open door.

  • Ozymandias says:

Our limit was always one drink or glass of wine. Occasionally in our room we may have a couple glasses of wine, but never tipsy or drunk. I did know people who drank too much at the feast but they obviously did this at home as well. There are always bad apples in every group. It was always important to set a good example in all that we do. I’m out of the church but still feel this way. As believers in God we have a responsibility to show a decent way of life even though I am not a churchy conservative person.

  • Byker Bob says:

I think you hit the nail on the head, Oz, when you mentioned what people did in the privacy of their homes. I had met several people over the years, as an example, who somehow had never been able to kick the smoking habit. This would have been difficult for them at the Feast, with everyone living in a close community, rather than being spread out. There were also couples where the husband and wife loathed one another, and their arguments became very public knowledge during feasts. Teenagers’ indiscretions also attracted considerable attention, as they suddenly had hundreds or thousands of “parents” for one week in September or October. So a lot of behavior that was normally hidden came into plain view at Feast time. Many people also adhered to the teachings (true or false as they might have variously been) of the church because they felt that those were rooted in the Bible, and that authority in the church was backed by the members of the deity.

Whether or not the feasts and Armstrong doctrines are actually in force, human nature can never be expunged from any convention, holiday, or other ritual, and the indiscretions of the slackers will always be disturbing to the observant ones, and interpreted as hypocrisy. Committed members of groups like to believe that everyone is playing by the same rules, the ones they signed up for. And when leaders look the other way and allow their “pets” to get away with things, discouragement sets in.

now all we have to do is get NASA involved …or harry potter

  • Ozymandias says:

BB, , I don’t think I felt everyone should be exactly on the same page, but I did feel they should be in the same book. Getting drunk and getting into a fist fight at your motel is more than simply setting a bad example. We heard rumors of wars long before we left WWCG. As I said there are always bad apples, but this became more and more prevalent as time went on. It was no longer called the Feast of Tabernacles but rather Festival in our area. The beginning of the demise in my opinion. Whether or not you believe in a certain thing or not, RESPECT should be at the forefront of all that we do as human beings. If you don’t believe it, leave. This is why I left Ron’s group. I didn’t believe it anymore but still have respect for those who do. Blind as I feel they are , they are entitled to believe whatever they choose.I enjoy my freedom of choice and they should as well. Disrupting however is not a freedom in my opinion. When I knew I had had way more then enough, I left. I did not disrupt services or cause problems by bringing attention to myself. It should have been this way at the feast years ago. If you aren’t happy or would rather party and drink , please stay home. I knew when it was time to leave my teenage son at home, and probably took him one too many times. People brought teens that clearly should not have come because they were “afraid ” to leave them at home. Time to stay home yourself then. This has happened in PKG as well. Parents are reluctant to give up on their “wayward” teen and bring them only to cause trouble. They have brought their worldly boyfriends ,ran around in skimpy clothing, and been seen in compromising positions. When the minister has teens of his own he tends to make excuses as Ron did. We all knew what was happening and the suck ups just went along with it. I feel most people just lack basic self control. If they can’t control themselves at home , a miracle will certainly not occur for the eight or so days of the feast.

  • Byker Bob says:

Agreed, Oz. It sounds as if you had some timeless values and common sense prior to your entry into Armstrongism. What I’ve seen in all too many cases is that the things we learned in WCG and the splinters went against many of the precepts, behavioral patterns, and even some of the natural innate goodness of humans that had developed over thousands of years of civilization, all in the guise of “the truth”. I’ve said many times that I really didn’t acquire a good set of ethics, or respect for others until after having left WCG, mostly because my parents joined up at the time in my life when I would be learning these things from school, and my family. Suddenly, everything was pagan, anything we could learn from “Satan’s world” rather than from “God’s ministers” was wrong or irrelevant, and part of the process involved shutting out and shunning what had always been a loving family.

When I did leave in 1975, I had to sift through everything which had happened in my life up to that point, revalidating some precepts, and rejecting others. Basically, if there were some good reasons (other than the church’s say so) for indulging or not indulging in certain behaviors, I allowed myself to be guided by those reasons. I did not want to die of lung cancer, didn’t want to end up as some sort of derelict or alcoholic, and did not want my body to fall apart prematurely from junk foods and lack of exercise. I also wanted to work on a solid career and make investments for possible future needs. Some of the other stuff, like repairing family relationships, proved elusive. Some immediate family members are still attending splinters, and those who are not only want to speak of the abuse they watched us receive all those years ago. That made quite a lastimg impression on them. I get myself into trouble for saying this, but it looks like I’m going to need to wait for Jesus to straighten out all of our wrong knowledge during the Kingdom to heal and restore the family part of life. And, I’m fine with that. It’s something to look forward to.

Also, some things happen on the inside or the outside, because they are based on genetics and human nature. I had some wayward children myself, in spite of them not being raised in Armstrongism, but they have settled down and are leading productive lives.

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

“BB” “… I get myself into trouble for saying this, but it looks like I’m going to need to wait for Jesus to straighten out all of our wrong knowledge during the Kingdom to heal and restore the family part of life. And, I’m fine with that. It’s something to look forward to …”

I have also arrived to the same conclusion. I believe in God and what he has taught me, it is the human part of the church that has been a severe problem in the church and has had a profound effect on me.

I have always been taught that God is loving and forgiving and I believe that with my whole being. However, some of the practices within the cog’s has been one of, let’s say it, hatred for those who decide to leave for personal reasons. This is something that is very difficult to understand because God is forgiving and desires to lose none of us. I will wait along with you BB.

Does anyone know what has happened to “Ann,” she has disappeared from the the “upcoming trips” section?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

The trips page is rather out of date, still showing a trip for August 23. Jeremy’s not earning his keep, aside from reading a sermon probably written out for him by his mother, the Silent Witness.

  • Randy says:

    I thank so

  • Ozymandias says:

Remember Ann has been ill for years. She may not really feel up to all those trips.

  • Ronco says:

OK, this one is for Douglas Becker:

I recently heard a preacher quote Steven Hawthorne concerning dogs and cats:

A dog says: You feed me, you take me for walks, you look after me, you must be God – and he sets himself up to serve his master…

A cat says: You take care of me, you feed me, you change my litter, I must be God – and he sets up his life to be served…

Long live Joseph TCat, Sr. – The Cat of Sin.

  • Mikey knows he’s not God and doesn’t know who is.

    But he’s sure it’s not a dog.

“Mikey knows he’s not God and doesn’t know who is.”

OK, we need some doctrinal edicts here…

  • movin' on says:

Elder-pkg (no-longer) ~ How are you doing without your wife during the feast? I’m not sure how to describe how I am feeling. I hate this time time of year because it becomes so obvious where his loyalty lies (not his family at home). But at the same time he isn’t here as a daily reminder that I am not good enough for him. I find myself tense and stressed when he is around but now that he is gone I can relax. Doesn’t seem like that is how a marriage is supposed to work.

I just found out that my husband is probably hanging out with your wife and who knows who else this week. Apparently he went to Florida but didn’t tell me his change of plans til after he left. Couple extra days of travel time…couple more days away from us…he doesn’t care. He accidentally sent a text to me that was supposed to go to someone he is with at the feast about tours and rides and such. Last time he took me out was over a year ago but he is obviously having great fun there now while I am holding down the fort at home. Am I crazy to stay? Crazy to be bothered by his actions? He is so different than the man I began to date 25 years ago.

Hope you are doing well with everything going on at your home… thanks for listening.

  • Randy says:

Moving on when I here stories like this I wish so bad someone would take this asshole out he loves the power of reeking families! For some reason Laura steered most of them to Florida!
I wish you the best so sorry!

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Movin’ On

To begin, Florida was the hot feast site this year, my wife said there were approximately 200 attending in Orlando.

I miss my wife not being home, however, we do text and call one another every day. That is a good thing. I am so sorry to hear about your situation, but, at least you are getting some relaxing time. The feast is almost over and they all will be returning home. But this has been a healing time for me as well, missing out on the “vacation” part of feast. In reality, in the gulag, that is what it really is, a vacation.

It is really amazing how callous married members of the gulag can be to their spouses who are not part of the gulag. It troubles me that these things are taught and they accept it without any question at all. It is not right and lacks the true nature of God’s forgiving and loving nature. The only good thing is that I know these “two” will be held accountable for what they have done to people’s lives.

My heart goes out to you and I pray that you will find the peace that you deserve.

  • Ozymandias says:

Movin on, remember , he doesn’t have to be a wonderful husband in order for you to be a wonderful wife. Shoot him a text and tell him you hope he’s having a wonderful feast and that you all miss him and can’t wait to see him. My dad was not in the church , but every year he gave my mom money and said have fun at your feast or whatever you call it. LOL He thought she was nuts but loved her anyway. It was mostly his money she sent in to headquarters but he never asked her. His life was better with her than without her. This is a question you must ask yourself. We always did put the church first, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love our families. Perhaps one day your husband will see Ron and the church for what it is, but for now you can still be a loving wife if you choose to stay with him.Remember even if he left Ron he may still choose to keep the Sabbath as many of us have. Ask yourself what it is you are angry at. Ron , the church , tithing, not working Saturday? You never know when something will happen to wake a person up. If he ever left it would be wonderful if he had your love and support. That is , if you really still do love him. Elder is doing his level best to keep his marriage strong because he deeply loves his wife. You don’t want something as small as Ron Weinland to ruin your marriage. Good luck to you. Ozzy

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ozy, the situation you describe for your parents would be ideal considering the other situation. But that doesn’t mean that Movin’ On could have the same situation. It takes two to make things work, and it’s not happening in her case. Movin’ On has participated on this blog, not often, but several times over the last few years. So I don’t think it will work that way for her.

  • Ozymandias says:

Sorry to hear that. I was single in the church for many years and can’t imagine a more stressful situation than to be married like this. I certainly wish her well and hope they can work things out. I know it’s easier said than done. I hope I didn’t offend anyone.

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Ozy,

I hold ronnie the hoax and laura the yenta totally and completely responsible for the damaged they have done to families and marriages. There is no doubt, regarding moving on, her marriage has become another victim of the weinlands. The sad part is that they (weinlands) could care less about it.

Where are the teachings about loving your husband or wife in or out of the church!!! I have to ask, would Christ do this to his wife the church!!? NO! NO! NO! So why is it that the weinlands commit such atrocities against its own members? This is exactly what “false” teachers, prophets, and so called witnesses do – DESTROY FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS –

I get so damned angry when I see this cultism taking place and WHO benefits from all of this pain and suffering? THE WEINLANDS!!

  • martin says:

I’m waiting for Ron to take credit for the Ebola outbreak in Africa.

After the Feast, I’m sure he’ll get to it.

  • Randy says:

Wonder how the asshole is enjoying his feast in Fedral prison !!!! Oh I forgot him and his bitch died in the streets of Jerusalem in there cloth sack clothes!!!! Bet they didn’t throw there gold in the street! Did I every say how much I hate this Baster and his money stealing bitch.

  • Ronco says:

“Wonder how the asshole is enjoying his feast in Fedral prison !!!! ”

    Yes, we are wondering, Randy!!!

  • movin' on says:

Ozy ~ you certainly didn’t offend me. It helps to know that others have dealt with the same issues successfully. Did your mom join the church later into their marriage or was she already in when they started dating? We were married 16 years when he dropped us like a hot potato in favor of being a big deal in a fantasy game. In my daily mental debate about how to deal with him, I wonder if it isn’t enabling him if I let him do his thing uncontested. I get so frustrated (and jealous) that he spends so much time and energy and money on this man who is so obviously a fraud. You raise a good point about the Sabbath. We were pretty “normal” protestants before he left and this whole realm is just out of my league. I am happily agnostic and don’t plan to set foot in another church again. I wouldn’t mind him going to church somewhere…even if was Tuesday mornings…if it was more typical. But to spend 4+ hours on the road every Saturday, plus 6 hours hanging out at their house drinking beer to drown their common sense makes me crazy. And that doesn’t count the weekend trips across the state, labor day camping trips (when the rest of this family is at home) and of course this dumb vacation across the country. We don’t even go out to eat unless it is a super special occasion. Yeah, I am mad at hubby, Ron, tithing, not working Saturday (especially when it is harvest time and the rest of us are working our tails off while he’s drinking beer 2 hours away).Everyone else thinks I am a pretty good person but I just can’t wrap my brain around how be genuinely nice to him.

Elder~ glad to hear you two are doing good considering everything. Probably not a lot of couples who would make it through so well. I think a big part of my problem is jealousy and feeling rejected. It helps to stay busy and work more on my family’s farm so that is what I have been doing lately. It just boggles my mind that the members cannot see the obvious. How many times can you blow a prophecy and still have people believe you? Crazy!!!

Mike ~ thanks again for hosting this site. You have no idea how much comfort I (and countless others) get from others who post here. You are a lifesaver.

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    movin’ on:

I now have a better understanding of your relationship with your husband. Sorry, but I have to fault your husband for not being the partner in life he should be.

Let me say this, since, I have been involved with the gulag on an administrative level. Prior to my taking over the Florida group, there was a drinking problem on the Sabbath and what I call to be unacceptable behavior that was being encouraged by the previous elder. The moment the sermon was over the beer coolers came out and the drinking began. To make a long story short, I ended the Sabbath drinking period!!

There were other problems as well, there were marital problems with some members who’s spouse were not in the gualg and the non-member spouse reacted very much like you have. One of the marriage did end divorce and there were others who worked through their differences and survived. Your type of situation is more prevalent in the gualg than you realize and the weinlands do not address these issues and simply ignore them and have made it clear to the local elders NOT to get involved period!!!

The weinlands are frauds and it is clearly seen by former members and affected spouses. The gulag is more like a college party fraternity and sorority and this atmosphere is one BIG HOOK in some peoples’s lives and it is this that keeps the money rolling in for the weinlands.

  • juror bags says:

    Not Religious,
Wow! I knew this cult was crazy but it sounds to me to be more out of control than I have given credit. Sorry about your situation. The Weinlands are some really shitty people. Their money scamming cult has absolutely nothing to offer anyone except abuse, theft, and destruction. I personally think all four of them should be hung.

These lying predators do not care about anyone except for themselves. They are strictly in it for the money, the power trips, and the thrill. If anyone thinks they are in it for anything else they are fooling themselves. They think it is all a big game and toy with others lives for their own personal entertainment and financial gain. Just take a quick look at the Gossip Whore and how she behaves. Nothing good or religious about her and her actions.

PIGS! Hi Laurdass! OINK, OINK! Disgusting money grubbing bitch.

  • juror bags says:

I knew so stuff didn’t add up. What kind of church leader parties in Las Vegas? That alone stinks them up. But then again it is DO AS THEY SAY, NOT AS THEY DO. PKG “church” rules do not apply to the Weinscums. They sure as hell never practice what they preach. This was so evident during lil’ Ronnie’s trial it was ridiculous.

How is the Gray Bar Hotel treating ya? Little bald bastard. Bubba keeping you warm at night.

  • Acts says:

But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

“… Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned: and turn away from them….For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent …”

I found these scriptures to be of great interest to me. This is the base scriptures that the cog’s use for disfellowshipment of troublesome members. However this can be applied in a reverse manner to address false teachers and prophets (weinlands). God instructs true believers to flee from false prophets and teachers!!

Now here is where I am going with this. There some of us who left the gulag on our own and where not put out by the fraudulent ronnie the hoax. In other words, it was an action taken totally based on the above scripture to “protect” ourselves from what is being described in the above scripture. Those written words, “… serve their own belly….by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the innocent …”

Folks!! Here is the real truth about the weinlands and they they aptly described to the “tee” in those scriptures!!!

Get this ronnie, myself and others “marked” you for what you are and disfellowshipped you because of the threat you posed to our own spiritual health!!! You do not have to be a minister to protect yourself from an errant false teacher that you are!!!! It is God’s Word that condemns you dude!!!!

  • Acts says:

IMPENITENT best describes Them. Yes , They are Condemned by God’s Word.

Whoever leads into captivity goes into captivity and those who murder with the sword will be killed with the sword.

  • Acts says:

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Evil Hearts full of Delusion .

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

All PKG members should immediately disfellowship the Weinlands.

  • Randy says:

Amen Mike, through them out and tar and feather there ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are not Agianst the church it’s the crooks that run it

  • Randy says:

Like I said before get someone in there that will open the books every 3-6 months and let everyone see where the money goes if they are honest fine ! Ron and Laura hide and keep everything a secret

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Randy,

ronnie the hoax and laura the yenta would never allow the opening of the books because it would be an immediate exposure of what they really are. However you are right on with the secretive nature of the thieves. That should raise the suspicion of any reasonable individual. Maybe juror bags can reveal some of the questionable expenditures. I, personally, would love to examine the revenues and expenditures of the gulag since 2005 to present.

  • Ozymandias says:

Elder my guess is that Ron ALWAYS did exactly what he pleased with the money. He just finally got caught. This goes back to the enormous sense of entitlement they have always had. All cloaked in humility until the books were opened. PKGers see this but they simply don’t care. All he needs is for people to also think he is entitled and he’s all set. They REALLY believe all the hokum he can dish out. I believe it’s because they have allowed Ron to TRANSLATE the Bible for them. They simply take his word for it.

  • martin says:

Ron still thinks he was wronged.

  • Glad I'm Free says:

I feel for “movin’ on”. Been there, done that. You’ll decide what is best for you and family and make peace with yourself, only time does that. Don’t be to hard on yourself. Once you reach the conclusion that you’ve tried all you can and everything thing you can, it will get easier for you.

As for Ron and his “church”, I’ve been far better off without it, as many here will say. Yes, I miss some of the people that claimed to be friends, but a a true friend will always be there no matter what. Some friends have contacted me, others have not. Guess I feel it is their loss, just like I feel it is Gary’s loss. With his pride etc…he’ll never see it until the end, just like Ron. Some will never admit that they have been wrong cause of it. In the end, they will be old, lonely, unfulfilled people, but this is their chose.

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Glade I’m Free:

I understand exactly how you feel and agree completely. My door is open to the ones I know in the gulag and always will be. Isn’t amazing the love and concern we still have for them and yet they allow the fraudulent one (ron) to distort and control their personal lives – how tragic –

  • Ozymandias says:

Elder, when we first learned about the Sabbath and plan of God we wanted to tell everyone we met. LOL They couldn’t hear it then and the PKGers can’t hear it now. They are “stuck” believing a certain way . At this point they are no different than any one in a worldly religion. They simply believe everything the ” priest or Prophet ” says as coming from God. They have built a “wall” of men between God and themselves and they don’t see it. This is something we cannot get across to them. We have been labeled by Ron as either rablel rousers or never were’s. Time will show some of them the error of Ron’s ways but some will never come to the knowledge of the truth. Personally it took me years to come to the full knowledge of problems within the COGS. At first I thought it was just WWCG but when Ron fell from grace I realized it was all of them. The difficulty is deciphering what is Gods and what are the church teachings. Once you get a few of these things straight in your mind , you are on the road to recovery. Hopefully over the next few years a few more will begin to see the damage all the COGS have done.

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Ozy:

I now understand exactly what you are talking about. The “wall of men” that stands between you and God is very true and real and it is demanded of the membership to “not” question and obey unconditionally this “wall of men”. Well, that no longer works for me and from this day forward I will challenge any individual who attempts to demand “unconditional submission” to them and not God regarding my life will be confronted quickly!!!

Since I have “marked” (disfellowshipped) ronnie the hoax, my life has been going in the right direction. I have reviewed all of ronnie’s failed prophesies and what he based them on and have come to the conclusion that it is all pure imagination of a diabolical delusional fool!

What comes to my mind is that one group of individuals in the NT (Breans) that if someone came preaching something different they would quickly kick them to the curb!! And what was their defense? It was their knowledge of what God had taught them directly through searching the scriptures daily on their own and they had the ability to recognize someone like the fraudulent one (ron) and send them down the road!! I am doing this very thing and it is eye opening at what I am learning in order to protect myself from this day forward from charlatans like ron and laura!!

  • It’s good to actually obey Scripture and disfellowship the Weinlands.

It would also be good if they repented, returned what money they could and apologize. One Armstrongist minister actually did apologize this year for being a false prophet, but didn’t follow through and quit the ministry.

The Weinlands are ultimate fools, for if they don’t repent and the Bible is true, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, be burned up and we will be done with them for all eternity: Gone — just gone… and forgotten.

It amazes me that they have no fear.

  • Randy says:

I wonder if the cancelled the Cinninattii feast because not a Nuff people and made them all go to Florida?

  • Acts says:

Ron does not seem to remember scripture at all.

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NzSO2IOjmu0

    Ron deals falsely.

  • Acts says:

Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be showed before the whole congregation.

Whoever digs a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolls a stone, it will return on him.

  • Ozymandias says:

Elder, if ten men were lost in the woods and nine wanted to go a certain way but the 10th man wanted to go the way he knew in his heart was right , he most likely would go along with the nine lost men so he wouldn’t end up alone in the forest. Unfortunately most of us just go along with the group you identify with. It’s very difficult and sometimes a little lonely to go off on your own. You also feel vulnerable when you go against the majority of the group.WWCG did teach us how to live different than most people and survive the trip. We know deep down in that it is the narrow road or the road less traveled that is the one we should be on. We cannot worry about what others think and we are ONLY responsible to God alone. This unconditional submission you mention goes against everything God actually teaches us. We are to be set apart from the way most men think. Men like Ron try to keep everyone in their place . It’s only when we see this that we become free to worship God almighty as an actual adult and not a child following along. Ron can’t have ANYONE thinking for themselves. This goes against everything he teaches. He couldn’t be the ONLY one God speaks to then could he? He must convince everyone that they can only reach God through him. God almighty rent the veil in the Holy of Holies and made himself available to all men, so we would not have to go through a priest, but rather have direct access to him at all times. It’s so simple, but men love to complicate things to suit themselves. There’s gold in them thar hills you know. You just need men to go along with you , to be part of the nine rather than the one.

  • martin says:

Just because Ron is an EVIL LEADER does not mean we should not *follow* any leader.

We should follow a leader if he’s following Christ as Paul or Peter said.

Now clearly Ron is a greedy evil man who is only after filthy lucre. Even the US government sees that, and of course ron stole from the government to the tune of a quarter million dollars.

  • Byker Bob says:

Nope. Skip the leaders. Direct connection and personal accountability are the purest form of worship. Leaders always eventually fail and disappoint. Then the followers are left to make excuses and to settle for second best. That is not to say that we cannot occasionally learn from strong, knowledgeable, or experienced people, but they should be more like a reference book when you need to look something up. Also, like communism, Armstrongism has a horrible history of corrupting its leaders, turning them into self-absorbed despots who exploit and oppress. So-called grooming of leaders has been tried with both philosophies enough now, over and over and over, and the result is always the same. Turns them into psychopaths, or attracts people who already were psychopaths.

One of the most horrifying non-sequitur statements from our shared pasts always was “Hi, I’m one of ‘God’s ministers’, and I’m here to help you!”

  • Elder-pkg (no longer) says:

    Martin:

Individuals need to evaluate so called “leaders” to make sure that they are following Christ. It is this “unconditional submission” that is demanded by these leaders that is the problem. I agree with BB where you can trust and learn from someone who has the knowledge and experience that you can learn from, however, when an individuals starts to take the position that they are God’s chosen then that is the time to question and examine this individual.

Failed prophesies, demand of tithes, conviction of felony offenses, lavish life styles, and if you dare question me your are out are “red flags” that this individual “is not” following Christ. It is the responsibility of the individual to protect themselves from these wolves. The above speaks loudly against ronnie the hoax and others like him!

  • Acts says:

    2 Corinthians 11
4For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different “good news”, which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough.

13For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. 14And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

19For you bear with the foolish gladly, being wise. 20For you bear with a man, if he brings you into bondage, if he devours you, if he takes you captive, if he exalts himself, if he strikes you on the face. 21I speak by way of disparagement

Ron Weinland Is a Golden Calf. He has brings another Jesus! a False Christ .

“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

  • Acts says:

PKG is in Bondage ! They are following Ronald right down the path of destruction . You would think Ron would have some Fear , but he doesn’t because he is an Arrogant child. In his mind World Wide Church was Gods, HWA was an Apostle that could do no wrong, And Joe T was the Man of sin. This is the Lie that he and his wife believe and this is the False Gospel he has Brought to the people .

The Truth is , Ron is in Jail for 489 more days for not paying his Taxes. It is 100% proven that he does NOT Follow The Jesus Christ of the Bible . It is 100% proven from scripture ,that he is a False Apostle and A False prophet .

PKG does not care what the bible says , because they follow a complete jackass! They don’t mind at all because they don’t even SEE that Ron has Brought them into Bondage and he Takes from them , And he sure does not mind exalting himself !

    2 Thessalonians 2
9Even him, (False Prophets False Apostles )whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all delusion of unrighteousness in THEM that perish; because THEY received not the love of the truth, that THEY might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send THEM STRONG DELUSION , that THEY should BELIEVE A LIE 12That THEY all might be damned who believed not the truth, BUT HAD PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS

And I’m sure they are all Taking Pleasure in their False Feast! Where they join hand in hand with Ron and his Unrighteous Doctrine of Lies and deceit .

    Proverbs 11
    7Hopes placed in mortals die with them;
all the promise of their power comes to nothing.

21Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished,
but those who are righteous will go free.

  • Acts says:

    112:10
The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish.

  • Ozymandias says:

Martin, the problem with following any leader is that at some point , this leader will travel down a wrong path and you will follow him out of habit or love. We need to set our own path with the Bible as our guide. Think about it Martin, God gave us a mind and reasoning power for a reason. Who did Christ follow? Only God Almighty! He found NO MAN worthy of following in his day and there are none now . You are following a human being with greed and sin in his very nature. Sorry, but I’m finished with that. If I can’t find it in the Bible , I’m not interested.

  • Ozymandias says:

What is the scripture about “blind guides”?

  • Ozymandias says:

BB, one of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes was ” how to serve man.” Turned out to be a cook book. LOL . I have felt a little “roasted” over the years!

  • Ozymandias says:

When Ron was still JUST a minister, I felt we were still in a good place. When he became the Apostle, the Prophet and the Witness he became infallible . Then you knew EVERYTHING he said was Gods lips to Ron’s ears and he could NEVER make a mistake again. If he turned out to be wrong, it was somehow God trying to tell us something new. NEVER WRONG is not mans way, but it is Ron’s way. I’m afraid all these church leaders are the same way. There are many things you can learn from others, but no more following with the fear of being tossed out if you disagree. From HWA to REW there was never a time when ” questions” were good.

  • Ozymandias says:

    Amen Mike

  • Ozymandias says:

Our church always prided itself on not having idols made of metal or stone, but we didn’t need them. We made ours out of flesh and blood, and set them up in the place of God to follow and worship. Believing they can’t do a thing wrong and are the very word of God. If you are searching for ” new truth” and the words of God , READ THE BIBLE!! Stop letting other men interpret it for you.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron had a sermon about spiritual idolatry back in 2000, just before kicking the lay board to the curb so he could take over. Ironic (iRonIc) that Ron is the spiritual idol of PKG members.

  • Ozymandias says:

As human beings we seem to be hard wired to admire and worship something, whether it be sports, Hollywood or our minister . We need to understand this about ourselves so we are able to keep it in check. Men know this about other men and exploit it every day in some form or another.

  • Acts says:

History repeating itself . HWA was an Idol to Many people across the world. It would be Wise for many to go back and Measure that man against Scripture ! At what point did he go astray from the simplicity that is in Christ ? Start with Family relationships .

    Galatians 5
9A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough

All it takes is one false Doctrine .

    James 3:6
And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among the parts of our bodies. IT POLLUTES THE WHOLE BODY!(Church) SETS THE COURSE OF LIFE ON FIRE and is set on fire by hell.

The body is Polluted . The glory is turned to shame.

  • Acts says:

    Psalm 4:2
How long, exalted men, will my honor be insulted? How long will you love what is worthless and pursue a lie? Selah

  • Ozymandias says:

One false doctrine. Which one would we start with?

  • Acts says:

To start with his flip flop on marriage and Divorce , That has caused the destruction of who knows how many families over the last 4 Decades . Totally against the simple Words of Jesus Christ , Paul and Moses .

Please do not mistake what I am trying to say here. I do not condemn anyone who has remarried and i do not believe they are being Judged for doing so . I do condemn the Teaching as being unbiblical and not in line with what Jesus Christ said for the church. I believe HWA changed it in the Mid 70s , How ironic since then we have seen the Largest Divorce rate nation wide of all time, and climbing .
I condemn the Teachers who Teach people how to live Wrong. The church is supposed to be different than the world. The teaching of Christ and Paul showed what was right for the church. Again ,NOT judging or Condemning anyone who has remarried , just making the point that the Teaching of HWA is out of line with God’s Word.
This destructive doctrine coupled with The False prophecy that has people , till this day worried more about the Germans attacking and not worried enough about treating there fellow brothers and sisters Right should be it. It has been a massive problem for people’s Peace. And the love of God Grows cold with such Division .There are other things as well , but those two things are massive ! a major stumbling block . Note the great divide within all HWA has created . A house divided will not stand . It was destroyed , But it continues today and is worse. Question , What is The Fruit ?

  • Acts says:

    2Timothy3:16
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

I believe that, And I do not believe any man can come along and just call himself an Apostle ,and change the bible for his ends. Ron has done this now MANY times! Ron sitting in Jail right now for tax evasion thinks he can change the words of Christ in the bible! Ron you fool WAKE UP! Your in jail and the bible is still the bible.
    Jeremiah 23:28
he that has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? said the LORD.

They must be measured by Scripture. HWA looked great ,Almost Grandfatherly . A nice man who seemed to follow the bible to a tee, But did he ? As the world loosened up Morally ,So went the church of God away from Scripture. So subtle . God is Love and Peace. Not confusion and Hatred.

  • Ozymandias says:

HWA said he GAVE the church to GTA on a platter. I knew then that this was a family business. I just didn’t think Ron would be so brazen to do the same thing. It’s a legacy that is passed down in the COGS. People follow Ron because they followed HWA. It’s a bad habit.

  • Acts says:

Ron has literally put himself above God . (IDOLATRY )Those verses in Thessalonians are for him and those like him. He should be very afraid of what he has done . But he is filled with his delusion , You and I both know this well , Ozy . You have seen how this man works . Sudden destruction will come and we will see how the foundation of PKG holds up.
    Deueteronomy 4:
23Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD your God has forbidden you. 24For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God

25When you shall beget children, and children’s children, and you shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD your God, to provoke him to anger: 26I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto you go over Jordan to possess it; you shall not prolong your days on it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and you shall be left few in number among the heathen, where the LORD shall lead you. 28And there you shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 29But if from there you shall seek the LORD your God, you shall find him, if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come on you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God, and shall be obedient to his voice; 31(For the LORD your God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.
    revelation 13:15
And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image to the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Is that not what Ron and the rest of them do ? If you do not worship them they say Hit the road Your a dead man.

  • martin says:

“And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image to the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

I don’t see anybody being killed, therefore the WWCoG is not the beast, and PKG is not the image of the beast.

Note “image” is singular not plural, the multiple hundreds of splinters can not be the “image of the beast”.

You can not have multiple “images”, there is only one image of the beast. It is the papacy based off the Roman system.

  • Acts says:

Leading people away from God is Tantamount to Murder . False prophecy sure will kill people. That’s what God says in his word.

1″Woe to the shepherds who are DESTROYING and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares the LORD.

Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3You eat the fat, and you clothe you with the wool, you KILL THEM that are fed

4O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 5You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD

Yes ,those are for you Ron . But they do not See or Hear.

  • Acts says:

And don’t forget what Christ said , This is a very serious matter.

1Then said he to the disciples, It is impossible but that offenses will come: but woe to him, through whom they come! 2It were BETTER for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.

Repent with a full heart , Ron and I will forgive You.

  • Plimsol says:

On the PKG website they have put up a “Feast 2014 Introduction” from Ron.

There’s a new prophet!!! Guess who!

    Plimsol,

I don’t have the link! Is it Jeremy?

  • Plimsol says:

    No. You’re close though.

  • Acts says:

And with all delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

    They believe a lie.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Thanks, Plimsol. I’ve put a copy of it as a new post for everyone to comment.

  • Janet says:

I found it interesting that he is still blaming the government for why he is in prison. I wonder if his statement against the government could effect him from any early release? Just wondering.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I don’t think his statements would affect his time off for good behavior. It’s not like he has to go before a parole board.
