Falsely Accused of Godly Courage

While False Prophet Ronald Weinland continues to serve his 42-month prison sentence (reduced for good conduct to 36 months and change), surrogates have been filling in for his speaking duties.  This week, two of his senior elders took a turn by giving a split sermon.  I hadn’t been paying much attention, but Ex-Cogger posted a comment pointing out something that Jim Jamieson stated:

Look at the two witnesses, God’s two prophets at this time, just not only what they’ve gone through since the Apostasy and how God built courage in them and courage to, you know…”No, I’m not here for a paycheck. I’m here to obey God,” and to walk away from that, and beginning this, starting this end-time work. Look at where we’re at right now. One of, you know, God’s prophets sitting falsely accused in prison, and then his wife, the prophet of God is, you know, out there spearheading this Church and carrying it on and doing the administration and being able to get up in front of congregations as she visits and update all of us and keep us updated on Ron and whatnot. And you know, just the courage that’s there with both of them. And, you know, we need to pray for not only God’s two witnesses, to give them Godly courage, but for each and every one of us, you know. How has God prepared us with Godly courage for what is ahead, you know? And He has, and we might not realize it, but the trials we go through and overcome, well, we learn that, you know, to trust in God and have that Godly courage.

Falsely accused?  Let’s see.  An IRS agent spent 3 1/2 years investigating Ron before an indictment was brought.  This evidence was present in open court in a trial before a jury of his peers who were pretty disgusted by what the heard and quickly found him guilty.  And then his wife?  At his sentencing hearing, the judge stated that he considered Laura an equal conspirator with Ron and on that basis declined to enhance his sentence for being the leader of the criminal conspiracy to cheat Cesar of that which was his.

As far as Ron “no here for a paycheck”, here’s what else Ron had to say about paychecks.  In his sermon of December 29, 2007, he had this to say about what would be the case if his prophecies were not fulfilled:

There’s really a simple answer — he’s a false prophet. I get tons of email every day from people saying ‘We’ll, I guess in 2009 you’re going to be saying this or saying that, or trying to explain to people..” No, I’m done. Just to be real candid with you, so people know and people understand, ……, again that’s the only answer. There is only one answer. …. The world is not like that. You know people who are doing what is not right and they claim certain things or say certain things about what is given to them, and it doesn’t come to pass — then they have to madly change everything and do something else. Or say ‘God showed me this, and I just didn’t understand this, or God has revealed this to me now, and blah blah blah blah. ’ Because when it comes down to it, it’s about the paycheck. It’s about what are they going to do from here on out.

Jim, you’ve been in PKG long enough to have heard Ron make that statement.  You’ve been in PKG long enough to see Ron do exactly what he criticized other false prophets for doing.  You have court transcripts detailing Ron’s tax evasion, available on this website under “Criminal Case” linked at the top of every page on the website.  These transcripts are available directly on line from the federal court.  With all the Lies and Broken Promises Ron has uttered and you have heard yourself, you think he was falsely accused?  Willful ignorance and self deception.

Update: Jocko pointed out another segment in Jim’s sermon:

You know, I know somebody that’s left recently, that that was what they, when they read the book, 2008, they said that’s what proved to them that this was God’s Church and whatnot. But it’s still true! I mean, you know, he gave that sermon in December of ’94, and 40 Sabbaths to the hour… And we have two people that were in that audience that can witness to that, and you can pull up his death certificate. Anyway, my point being is that did happen. And that individual that I was speaking of, you know, okay, if that happened, it’s still true, and that’s what they considered to be the thing that proved that this was God’s Church. But they’re no longer with us!

Jim, maybe these people decided that Ron’s 100% failure at prophesying proved it wasn’t.  Or maybe they read the part in my Lies and Broken Promises page that proveded that it wasn’t “to the hour” when Tkach died 40 weeks later.  Jim, please: do pull up Tkach’s death certificate and see what the hour of his death was.  You should definitely do that.

  • I knew some of the current PKG members back in the WCG days and for what I experienced with all of those I’ve known, there was something really wrong with them back then. I see the wisps of mention of them today in the PKG and it makes me feel sad.

The thing I remember most about Jim Jamieson is his guilt — I don’t know what happened back then, but he expressed guilt when he talked with me. I also knew his parents, who, ironically ended up in the Christian Churches of God. I was with them on Pentecost when Jim’s dad had an incident and the paramedics were called. His parents went off to the Assembly of Eloah in 2005 and I haven’t heard from them since.

I knew several others of those who are now “elders” in the PKG and my opinion is that they are in no way, you know, qualified, you know, to be, like, you know, elders or have any position in the church (although Jim’s dad was a deacon, so he might know something of doing that, although, face it, deacons in the PKG would have absolutely NOTHING TO DO, you know!), you know?

I was there at the wedding of one of the women who is an “elder” in the PKG. The whole thing seemed like a joke to her. I believe her marriage was annulled. She had deep family problems which apparently were never resolved. It is beyond imagination that anyone would make her an “elder”.

It is my perception that in order for people to come out of the PKG at this point, they need resolution of their long standing problems and for many these seem to rooted in their childhood in the WCG, though I have to admit, I don’t know why Chris Czech ended up in the PKG (last I knew, his brother was in United).

I have given up the idea of going to Pendleton for the PKG feast… it would be too sad to meet the people I knew back in the day.

It seems that those in the PKG are there for different reasons and none of the reasons make any rational sense at this point.

DB , They worship Ron , he is their Idol .

Anything he says goes . Even if it is completely the opposite of what God says in his word. PKG does not know or care to find out what the bible actually says.

All Ron says comes from Satan. Just look at those two , all the damage they caused , all the false Prophecy ! It is just plain Foolish to believe them. Now I hope they do not destroy another Marriage! Kristen , have Patience . Jason will see . A little more time and it will all be over ! Ron&Laura will be DONE for real this time!

For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of HIS KING : and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.

  • Byker Bob says:

These comments from Jim Jamieson are yet another poignant example of a particular method or type of thinking. He is setting an example of either ignoring, or making himself willfully ignorant of the actual facts. Yet it is precisely what one needs to do in order to maintain a deception, and it is why the people who choose to remain are doing what they are doing. No mystery about it.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen it all before. The first time it registered for what it really was, when the lightbulbs started going off, was in 1975, and the furious explaining away and backpedaling in its aftermath. And, here we are, 2014, nearly 40 years later, with nothing of any scale actually happening in Europe, China the rising star, India another rising star, both eclipsing Japan. British Israelism and German Assyrianism have been definitively shown to be absolutely ridiculous, yet the ACOGs are still expecting the end times to unfold according to the Armstrong prophecy mold, actually priding themselves in their understanding of prophecy.

Sadly, most of us who were affected by all of this would have enjoyed a much better quality of life, and a superior mental state if we had never been exposed to it, or bought into it. It did not improve the quality of either our present or future existence in any way. It didn’t even help us in understanding or dealing with daily life. It was spiritual rape. There are no other words for it.

    BB

  • And I KNOW I would have been a much better person if my brother had never heard of Herbert Armstrong.

The Cult of Herbert Armstrong Mafia is so extreme that it is a completely irrational system of distorted perception. Objectively, rationally, it makes no sense whatsoever, and particularly with false prophecies from false prophets, it is a venue of twisted dysfunction. Yet, people (who have absolutely nothing in common with one another — except for the mass of alcoholics) attempt to make it all work. They take exceptional methods to keep the sinking ship afloat by giving up to 30% of their income to force everything to operate, taking days off from work they can’t afford, sacrificing resources their children and family should have — it’s a deep rut that leads them around in tighter and tighter circles.

Truth is, no one can make it work. It doesn’t work. It is all dysfunctional. Bankrupting yourself to make the whole extreme thing work is a stupid thing to do.

And here we have Jim Jamieson attempting to bandaid massive holes in PKG participation that you could drive a semi through. Bandaids won’t work. Baling wire and chewing gum won’t work. Superglue won’t work. No one can hold the whole thing together at this point, because it’s just plain WRONG. The lies and deceptions can’t be fixed.

The PKG doesn’t deserve to exist and the Weinlands don’t deserve the money from it for their luxury fund.

  • martin says:

If they had an ounce of real courage, they would both stand up and admit they are both deceived and deceived others.

Nothing that Ron said came true. Nothing.

Most of Ron’s teaching are self contradicting. God is not the author of confusion. Ron is an author of confusion.

For Ron, truth is ever changing. Ronald Weinland is a liar, this has been proven many times.

Ron calls new lies “the present truth”, it took so little to overthrow the PKG members, what a shame.

  • Jim, I know your dad taught you that every man must take responsibility for the consequences of his own actions without excuse.

You have been making excuses for Ronald Weinland.

Is that what your dad taught you to do?

    Gentlemen,

    All is well said.

I do know Jim and I am beside myself to think of him as being one laura’s zombies. We have to remember that it is “laura” and “ann” who write and edit these sermons. I am sorry to say this to you Jim, “Jim you are a fool for what you have just done”!! You know, as well as everybody else, Bizzarro the Insane (ronnie) in NOT falsely accused!!! Read the court transcripts, if you dare to!! Anyone on this blog can prove beyond any doubt that Bizzarro the Insane is GUILTY as charged. Can you prove that he is FALSLY ACCUSED, do yourself a favor and prove it to yourself!!

Another subject, I have been tracking the internet traffic for “the-end.com” which is dead dead dead!!! “cog-pkg.org” continues in decline for several months now. Laura is in deep do do and she is desperate to lie about anything! Laura doesn’t give a damn thing about Jim and is only using him to speak HER lies and deceit!! This is SICK SICK SICK!!

If this isn’t the actions of desperation, I do not know what is. This is so OUTRAGEOUS and I really hope that the membership can see this and start looking at this lying and deceit for what it is. Only time will tell on this one.

  • martin says:

According to Alexa, Ron’s site has fallen 300,000 points in rank. Which is about how much he stole from the IRS.

I can only wonder, that these men (I say that loosely) are so completely and utterly devoid of the facts….

They are so completely clueless and spineless.

If they can’t be bothered to spend 5 minutes checking the facts, then they should not be surprised at what happens on the 7th trumpet when their feet remain attached to the ground.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

“One of, you know, God’s prophets sitting falsely accused in prison…” Boy, the PKG really love pretending fraud is righteousness!

I see the stream of bs from pkg continues unabated. Sorry to see that.

  • Called To Blessing says:

The problem is that all of the pkger’s have their faith in a man and the collective mind of pkg rather than in God and Jesus Christ. They lean on Ron’s understanding of the Bible rather than leaning on God and allowing Him to lead them. Ozy referred to the concept of the “collective bubble of delusion” by David Loy and how it explains the positioning of pkg members and their relationship with Ron. But how about their relationship with God and Jesus Christ? Respect, social identity and the need to be liked by their group gives them an in-group bias, They reject anyone lese outside of the bubble.

They are trusting someone else to take notes for them in class. They trust him implicitly to read and interpret the Bible for them. And many trusted him to do the right thing according to God with the tithe and offering money. And that clearly was mishandled. Why would anyone want or choose to trust someone else whose track record is clearly off track? They chuck all of their spiritual responsibility off on Ron and God does not want this from us. Our relationship is not with Ron or Laura, or even the two witnesses. It is with God almighty. He can speak with us face to face through prayer.

At this point, the pkg members are so far in-meshed in the pkg mindset that they can no longer allow Jesus Christ to lead them.

Some of the members even told me prior to my leaving that they were behind in the reading of a number of posts. Others questioned why they were even going through some of these subjects. I don’t think anyone would admit to this now. I just really think they follow and it is so much easier to comply and conform rather than risk asking questions and being booted out. It’s all about reciting the party line because they fear the repercussions of not following the rest of the group.

A good minister would encourage dialogue for further understanding. Ron is only about absolute control and now will resort to any tactics to keep people in compliance with him. It is difficult to read Jim Jamieson’s words and see how Ron and Laura have deluded people into thinking that they are the two witnesses/prophets over and over and over with no truth coming from any of the prophecies. Prophets prophesy and the prophesies that are from God come true exactly as God and the prophet say they will.

The Cog ministers say “God is only working with me and my group.” ” No God is working only with me and my group.” And the delusion and the pride of man continues on…puffing itself up like some giant peacock. The Bible warns of these men who claim ‘Lo he is here or Lo he is there.’ They are all false. Only God is true and only God can lead you. He doesn’t need a man and the Bible doesn’t say he needs a man to call or work with us.

And when men were made prophets in the Bible by God, God told them what would happen and it happened without a doubt. There were no made-up waiting periods when the prophecies failed over and over and over again. How could Deuteronomy 18:22 be any clearer? There it is written in the Holy word of God. It states that man was “presumptuous” plain and simple and that when the message is not of God it does not take place. And it doesn’t come true at some relative and obscure point in time. It will never change with Ron. There will always be some new explanation as to why it didn’t happen. The Bible is very clear about the job of the two witnesses and the duration of their witness. They are not it. Admit that it is not you Ron and wait for the Lord to do His job. You make your position up there with God. Even the heavenly host does not know what you know. But you know everything and continue to be filled with pride as you sit in prison for mishandling and co-mingling funds and disregarded the taxes. It is your lack of doing your diligence with the money that led you to be imprisoned. You are not falsely accused. Now you twist scripture to suit your agenda because you refuse to be content with being a minister. You are not satisfied with what God has given you and you must make yourself out to be more.

People in pkg say all these people can’t be wrong. So they stay in pkg. If God didn’t put it in His people to seek HIs truth none of us, with a former wwcg affiliation, would have ever left wwcg when the doctrines failed to follow the Bible. Cog ministers have suffered from great delusions of grandeur and prediction addiction and speculation over the years and Ron isn’t any different than any of them.

  • Called To Blessing says:

The pkg view, from the people that have been ALLOWED to read ALL the transcripts, is that Ron was railroaded and that the transcripts are taken out of context. Where is this so-called railroading and how is falsely accused?

How has Ron’s pkg been held to any different standard than any other business? There is no railroading. He brought this on himself! Ron could not afford three BMW’s on his salary. Laura knew and said that the dealership stated a different number on their approval order so they would get approved to get the BMWs. They allowed the ‘fudging’ of the numbers to get what they wanted. So much money was being spent from church fund to personal accounts and they didn’t have any checks and balances on any of it. He had the audacity to criticize other people’s finances and the state of his and the church was chaotic. And in his sermons he would compare what he had to other members and grouse about someone’s TV being bigger than his when he didn’t know how that person acquired that t.v. And was it really any of his business anyway?? He was passing judgment on others when he was privately feathering his own families nest. Here is the hypocrisy!!

The IRS was doing its job to protect organizations from people who take advantage of others and to make sure they received what is owed to them according to the law. Whether we agree or not with law is not of consequence. Go change legislation then. Its as simple as breaking the law and being made accountable for breaking the law. Ron wasn’t singled out and it wasn’t personal. I don’t think many people thought Ron would be taking advantage of the church, yet he was. ARROGANCE! Ron doesn’t own the church of pkg but he treated the church like he did.

The jury of 12 was doing their job by judging according to the law what is right and wrong for organizations to do. There just simply isn’t any railroading in this case.

No one else in pkg will even read the transcripts because they’ve been conditioned to think that if they did they would be going against God.

Note to pkg readers: With all that being said, there isn’t a single person on this blog that thinks that the transcripts are even needed to show that Ron is a false prophet. The prophecies not coming true for the last 6 years are clear evidence that there is no divine prophetic revelation from God to Ron. He abused his position and God does not take well to people who do these things.

The trial and transcripts reveal the true nature of man behind pkg. The failed prophecies reveal that God is saying without a doubt that he (and Laura) are not prophets and clearly not the two witnesses.

  • Randy says:

Well said called to blessing !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Randy says:

How can they say falsely accused the IRS put up there case, Ron had the best lawyer’s money can buy, and a jury of 12 that never heard of the asshole found him guilty in 2 hours and everything was under oath ! They spent 4.3 million on church of church money on the Weindland family Mafia Laura is full of shit !!!!!!!!! Jim open your eyes people will not look up to you Laura is using you !!!

  • Elder-PKG (no longer) says:

It has been my experience in government then when an individual (laura) has played all the excuses and and comes to the realization that all has failed will resort to playing either the “race card” or the “victim card”. It is all too obvious that laura is now playing the “victim card”.

As I have stated before, the imprisonment and the failed prophesies would start to have their effects on the membership. I am somewhat dumbfounded that laura would resurrected the “ falsely accused” issue. It would have been wiser to keep it quiet and not stir that pot. But, “when in desperate times desperate things are done”.

There is no doubt in my mind that the finances are way down and are having an negative impact on laura’s life style. The web sites traffic is scary, in that, one (the-end.com) is completely dead and the other (cog-pkg.org) has been in a steady decline for several months. This is not good news to the thieves. And now to resurrect the “falsely accused” claim, in my opinion, is absolute suicide! Some time has gone by and, maybe, the ones on the verge of leaving will do their homework and realize that they have been played as fools!!

The question is, “how can an individual be falsely accused for not paying taxes”!? Doesn’t make sense does it.

Ron Weinland asked a widower to use her house as collateral for his bond.

That is pretty low, and speaks to how black his heart is to do this.

Certainly Ron could have used his own home.

Now if he did not have enough value or equity in his house, Ron certainly had other financial means to secure the bond.

Only a black heart could ask a widow to do this for him

Actually, Jimmy has #$%-ed up. He has now claimed that Ron has been falsely imprisoned. That means the BURDEN OF PROOF is on his shoulders. Go ahead, Jimmy. PROVE it.

If I said that Ron was a horse, it is my duty to provide proof. And as I could NOT prove Ron is a horse, this means I am wrong. Now, if I said that Ron was jailed for tax fraud, I would have to provide the proof, and the COURT DOCUMENTS prove Ron knowingly lied to the IRS. So IF someone says X is Y then the burden of proof lays with THEM. The PKG act like we are lying. It is THEIR job to prove we are not. Thus, they never try. Because they KNOW WE ARE TELLING THE TRUTH. So they have to resort to saying Ron is innocent in their little sermons, because it id the only place where they can get away with this complete and utter LIE.

GO AHEAD JIM JAMIESON. LET’S SEE SOME PROOF…Let us see you try and escape this giant LIE you told in your “sermon.”

  • Jocko says:

It seems like JJ was just warming up with his willful ignorance and deceptive commenting on the two witnesses. Additional signs and lying wonders were to follow. Shortly thereafter JJ began reviewing some of Ronnie’s “truths”. Below is what he had to say about #23.

“Okay, let’s look at Truth 23, and that’s the second one in Laodicea….
23 (2) The Man of Sin has been revealed to be Joseph Tkach, Sr., who initiated the end time
    apostasy.
You know, I know somebody that’s left recently, that was what they, when they read the book,
2008, they said that’s what proved to them that this was God’s Church and what not. But it’s still true! I
mean, you know, he gave that sermon in December of ’94, and 40 Sabbaths to the hour… And we have

that happened, it’s still true, and that’s what they considered to be the thing that proved that this was
God’s Church. But they’re no longer with us!”

  • martin says:

Let’s say that Joseph Tkach Sr was the man of sin, how does that prove that PKG is God’s Church.

    It’s moronic reasoning.

Let’s take a false church, this false church believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Does this prove that this false church is God’s church? No.

It’s sad to see such horrible mind numbing and stupid reasoning.

Mr Tkach Sr was not the man of sin. The bible is plain, the man of sin is destroyed at Christ’s Return.

When Tkach died, this dumb jackass Ron, tried to reinterpret the bible passage regarding The False Prophet’s destruction to be a sign that Christ is returning and that he was not killed at the Second Coming. It involved contorting the Greek to mean something it doesn’t.

So sad, these people can not see something so plain. Ron is a false prophet.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Thanks for pointing this out, Jocko. I’ve updated the main post. Do we think Jim will pull up the death certificate?

  • Whisper says:

Thack dying 40 weeks to the “hour” is a exercise in “research” – i.e. the past – what has already happened. How does this in any way prove wRONg is a prophet or that the PKG organization is “The Church”? It’s not a prophecy, it’s not a proof – it’s research of the past and a research that has a flawed outcome for wRONg as he flubbed the math (as Mike here clearly shows and proves using facts).

If Thack died 40 weeks to the “hour” then this is research on wRONg’s part, not prophecy given. It’s, at the very best, prophecy attached to a fact that had already gone by in the past and “realized” later – not known ahead of time. Attesting past events as “prophecy” is much easier than attesting future events that have yet to come to pass as prophecy, as wRONg has found out the hard way.

    Go figure?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I would not put the “40 week to the very hour” in the category of a prophecy.

Rather, it’s one of Weinland’s signs and lying wonders. With emphasis on “lying”.

  • Called To Blessing says:

Tkach’s death does not prove Ron is the Witness. And it was and is a correlation not a prophesy as it took place many years before he professed to be the witness and a prophet. He was a minister who had just left WWCG. There was no prophesy and witnessing during this time. The knowledge of the timing of Tkach’s death came up as more of an interesting occurrence. Sometimes people have a way of putting more emphasis on things that are just life events. God was finished with WWCG. It was corrupt and God is finished with Ron. Man cannot govern himself let alone Gods people. Pkgs trust is in the wrong place. They try ceaselessly to prove Ron is who he says but God doesn’t want us to prove other men. He requires us to prove ourselves to him.

  • Swineland logic: Everyone who ate pickles in 1859 died — therefore I am one of the two witnesses.

Swineland just invented quantum prophecy: You not only don’t know it’s true, you don’t know it’s a prophecy until you observe it.

  • Elder-PKG (no longer) says:

This whole matter of forty weeks to the hour is really redundant. Ronnie’s mathematical gyrations about Tkach’s death and a “significant prophetic number” is pure conjecture on Ronnie part. Because the bible actually defines what a “time” is. It is a cycle of 360 days, its provable!!

What Jim is missing is that this all failed to come true. You have to be lacking in empirical reasoning not to recognize this fact! This blind acceptant of non-factual statements is very disturbing! I am so glad that I am so far away from this influence of pure unfounded crap that emanates from pkg.

Jim, why don’t you just bring your facts here to this blog and let’s have on open forum on your statements that you made in your sermon or I should say your apologistic attempt to justify a provable felon and false prophet!!

Do you have the fortitude to do this here or do you prefer the cocoon of pkg?

JJ’s follow up on truth #23

“So we have to have the courage that, yes, this did happen, and those numbers are numbers that God
uses and we have to have the faith and the courage to believe that. God showed that to us, you know,
there again, building that courage so that we could go past the 27th and the 19th and we can now live
Pentecost to Pentecost. Because those things happened and we witnessed them and God continues
building courage one layer on another in our lives so that when it comes down to what’s ahead of us,
and we don’t know what’s ahead of us totally.”

“We know Christ is going to return soon. We know this
world is in sad shape! But there again, it’s just another truth, and all these truths, we really need to go
over them often. Even if you just read the bold print, it doesn’t take long to go through them. And you
just have to ask yourself, each one of them, “Do I believe that?” Well, if you believed it today, you should
be believing it tomorrow if we’re staying close to God”

  • It just seems to me that “Thou shalt not bear false witness” is part of the Ten Commandments that the Churches of God claim that they keep. I might be mistaken. Is “Thou shalt not bear false witness” even in the Bible? Can someone (preferably an Armstrongist, since absolutely no one else would have ANY credibility whatsoever) please give the chapter and verse on this if it is in Scripture — assuming of course that any Armstrongist knows one thing about the Bible?

Jim Jamieson has just committed slander against the United States government and tacitly accused the jury of Weinland peers that they rendered an unfair and illegal decision. Where do these people get away with this scrap?

Again, I don’t know much (and the Armstrongists are just sure that I can’t possibly know one thing about the Truth — Truth they define out of lies, deceptions, bad science, bad math and defiance of laws and logic), but it just seems to me that Revelation 22:15, where it says, “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” condemns Jim Jamieson and Ronald Weinland to eternal death, but what do I know?

When you need an excuse, any excuse will do.

Jim I’ve known you and your parents. They must really be ashamed of you.

    I know I am.

God gave your prophet a prophecy and reneged on it? This is totally absurd nonsense.

God is showing you something, it is this, everything out of Ronald’s mouth is false, and thus, Ron is a false prophet.

  • It’s the standard now: Lies cause credibility to plummet to zero amongst rational people but cause credibility to soar in the PKG where the fools only listen to what they want to hear.

  • Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

You have to love JJ’s explanation of truth #50.

“Alright, let’s look at Truth…the 50th Truth. And that’s probably one of the longest. It goes into more detail
there, but for so many years we thought Christ was going to return on Trumpets. And there again, people
go back and mock and say, “Oh, you guys changed it.” Well, no, it was “the present truth” and when “the
present truth”…we were given “the present truth” that Christ wasn’t returning on a Day of Trumpets but
on a Pentecost, then we changed”

“And He showed us that that 1335 days from Trumpets of 2008 to
Pentecost of 2012, that that doesn’t occur for a hundred years before 2008 and a hundred years after,
you know. And people go, “Well…” It might occur, but not these end-times. And so God showed us that
was that 3½ years of the witness where, you know, and nobody listened. But those numbers just don’t
happen. Again, you know, it’s just like the seven… 40 Sabbaths that Mr. Tkach that we just covered.
Things like these, they just don’t happen. It’s just God plans this out perfectly, and there again, building
more courage in us so that we can continue to go forward and do this work that God set before us, and
that we can have that Godly courage”

What’s in that flavor aid you been drinking Jim?????

He forgot to mention how the prophecy failed. Thus whatever magic numerology mumbo jumbo you came up with doesn’t amount to a hill of beans.

How does the numerology nonsense prove that PKG is God’s Church?

    IT DOESN’T.

It does prove that it is NOT God’s Church, because God’s True Church would not follow a false prophet.

  • martin says:

I don’t understand how anybody with any brains can take a prophecy THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN as proof that it is God’s Church.

    I am speechless.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

New little teaser post on Ron’s blog reposted here, which includes some prophesy. Do we think it will come true this time?

  • Matt says:

The wonderful thing with numerology is that, if you can work backwards, you can almost always find some number that someone, somewhere, will consider significant. This is because you do not tie yourself to counting specific time units in advance: after the fact you can decide to count hours, days, weeks, years, calendar months, lunar months, “times”, etc.

Numerologists also find quite a lot of numbers significant. There are no less than 10 numbers biblical numerologist find specifically significant in the numbers 1- 40 alone. That alone gives you a 1 in 4 chance of dying on a “significant” number, and that is before you take into account the many different ways you can define what constitutes a count!

I would therefor advance the notion that it is quite difficult NOT to die on some sort of significant number, really.

“Sometimes people have a way of putting more emphasis on things that are just life events.”

And that, it seems to me, is the alpha and the omega of this whole sorry saga.

  • Acts says:

Ezekiel 7 : 8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations. 9And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: FOR THE ROBBERS SHALL ENTER INTO IT, AND DEFILE IT.

The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be CLOTHED WITH DESOLATION, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
