A Great Spiritual Exodus

Sunday, March 31st, 2013

During this holy day season, False Prophet Ronald Weinland remains tucked away in the Terre Haute Federal Correctional Institute since the Day of the Lord has not yet become Great and Terrible enough to free him.  So PKG members were treated to not-so-Great-but-still-Terrible sermons from Weinland’s trio of evangelists.

Johnny gave the sermon for the first day of Unleavened Bread, Wayne for the weekly sabbath, and Terry’s sermon for the last day is already posted.  Johnny and Terry started out there sermons in Deut. 16 about the special offerings and Johnny telling the scattered members to just mail it in.  Laura, Audra, and Jeremy still have expenses.

Johnny has at last finished his multi-part sermon on the “Road to Crucifixion”.  He reminded us that someone always wants to be in charge.  Wayne discussed the story of Moses and the Israelites’ departure from Egypt.  The trumpets will sound soon, and people will wake up with a great spiritual exodus before Christ returns.  Seems that he’s not communicating well with Jeremy about sermon edits.  At one point he misread the statement about the great spiritual exodus, and so he reread the statement.  Or maybe the PKG cash flow is reduced or diverted to paying Ron’s tax bill so Jeremy has to get a real job.

Terry’s sermon for tomorrow is on deliverance.  PKG members are to cry out for deliverance.  What PKG members need to be delivered from is their bondage to a failed False Prophet, and there deliverance is in their own hands.  The spiritual exodus will not be great, as most PKG members will continue to follow Ron and believe whatever nonsense he comes up with to explain the third failure of Christ to return in less than 7 weeks from now.  Based on comments left on this blog by departing members,  a few are undergoing a spiritual exodus from the Egypt of their bondage to Weinland.  Hopefully more will soon join them.

Deliverance From Egypt

Wednesday, March 27th, 2013

False Prophet Ronald Weinland must have worn out a few pencils on his latest blog posting, the length may explain why we’re not seeing it until Wednesday instead of on Monday as last week’s posting.  Included are revisions to truths #32, #34, #43

————- Ron’s latest ——————

We are now in the Passover season, and one of the strongest Biblical themes that God has been reinforcing in His Church over the past couple of years is that of deliverance from spiritual Egypt. This world is in captivity and enslaved to sin, and it is ignorant of this fact, for the world does not see God, and therefore cannot see nor understand His way of true freedom and true peace.

In the Church, God has been magnifying the need for His rule over this world as His Kingdom is drawing very near. God desires that His people see more clearly how evil this world really is in every aspect of life. He is doing this because the Church and the Kingdom of God will soon begin to work to change every structure, basis, principle, focus, and practice of every governmental, economic, religious, and educational system. Nothing in this world is worthy of being saved, as nothing is founded on the ways and truth that come from God.

So God has been blessing His Church to see spiritual Egypt (bondage) in a far deeper way. However, when one is given that ability, it most often comes about through very unpleasant experiences in this world, as this is the spiritual means of blessing us with much deeper conviction of God’s true ways. Though it is a blessing to more clearly see the stark contrast between what God is bringing to this world and the ugly way this world is now, such learning experiences usually include notable suffering on our part. Yet we are so very blessed to be able to see such an infinitely vast contrast between the two.

Israel’s Deliverance From Captivity:
During this Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread we seek to draw closer to God by more fully coming out of sin   farther from the captivity of Egypt. At Passover we partake of the unleavened bread of life and then we follow that day by eating unleavened bread for the next seven days. This pictures the way of deliverance from Egypt, from bondage to sin, and then of living by the true bread of life which is the way of true freedom and peace that comes from God.

This brings to mind what God did, and will soon do again, when He delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt. The kind of deliverance spoken of for this end-time has not always been clearly understood by God’s Church. In the end-time, scripture speaks of God’s deliverance of Israel from captivity, and it was often perceived that this was speaking of a time when Assyria (modern Germany) would be given power to punish the modern day nations of ancient Israel. The belief was that there would be a second physical captivity of Israel as in the original account of Assyria conquering the northern ten tribes of Israel. Yet this is not the case. Some of this will be covered later in this post.

There is much that involves end-time prophetic fulfillment that is spiritual in nature and not simply the fulfillment of literally interpreted physical events. The Church began to have this revealed to it after the apostasy occurred in December of 1994. The intent of much prophecy at the end-time has been revealed to be far more about that which is spiritual rather than that which is physical. Such examples that have been revealed include the stones of the temple not being about physical stones of a physical temple in Jerusalem, but a spiritual one that is the Church. The abomination of desolation is not about a physical desecration within a physical temple (nor on a physical altar), but was about an abomination that occurred within the Church.

There are numerous other examples that could be mentioned, and many are contained within the list of truths (in the publication of the “The 57 Truths of God”) that God began to reveal following the 18 truths He gave through Herbert W. Armstrong. One notable example concerns the Seals of Revelation, most of which concern events that happened to God’s Church during and after the apostasy. In the past, these seals were interpreted as being about events of large-scale physical war, physical tribulation, and captivity of the scattered nations of Israel. These were, in reality, about spiritual battles, spiritual tribulation and captivity within the spiritual Israel of God   the Church of God. This understanding will lead to greater clarification of three truths given since the apostasy, which will be addressed later in this post.

God has chosen to reveal prophecy in a progressive manner through time and especially so in this end-time. The Almighty has done this for great reason. Fulfillment of prophetic events during this end-time, which are covered in the Seals of Revelation, do involve great battles, tribulation, war, and captivity. Although there will be horrific physical battles within a final WW III, there are battles that have already been fought and will continue to be waged all the way through to the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth. These great battles are spiritual and not physical. Some of the greatest spiritual wars of all time are occurring now at this time in order to end all wars.

Satan and the demonic world know their time is very short and as a result they have been fully engaged in great warfare. Through this final period of fighting, God has not revealed the full meaning of all end-time events, as Satan is not to know all the strategies of God, who will soon bring a complete end to Satan’s evil influence over mankind. Removal of this being (Satan) is God’s deliverance for this world from the spiritual Pharaoh of spiritual Egypt   deliverance from spiritual bondage and captivity. The final Passover season observed during this end-time is awesome in meaning and fulfillment.

More Spiritual Meaning:
The first five Seals of Revelation were fully spiritual in nature. These were not about physical tribulation on the scattered nations of Israel or the world, but these were completely about spiritual tribulation upon the Church. That which will be fulfilled through events revealed in the Seventh Seal are not spiritually about the Church as the earlier seals. However, the events of this final seal do include spiritual meaning that is combined with literal physical events. It is the spiritual meaning contained in some of these events that God is now giving clearer understanding.

For the Church, this was covered in part after the First Trumpet of the Seventh Seal was blown. God revealed that the fulfillment of this trumpet would be ongoing until Christ has returned. The effects of it will continue to increase until it is completely fulfilled at the end. Early on, God revealed that there was spiritual meaning to the terms about the green grass and trees. Yet this will also have literal physical meaning by the end.

We have already touched upon the spiritual meaning of Egypt, as the prophetic events for this time are not about the literal nation of Egypt, but about a spiritual one, even as end-time events prophesied about Pharaoh are about Satan. Although Germany (ancient Assyria) will play a short-lived role in the physical fulfillment of events that include war, their power given against the modern day nations of Israel is already in full motion as a result of the economic power of the Euro. It is the block of nations using this single currency that is bringing to light the great weakness of the U.S. Dollar and the flaws of the U.S. Federal Reserve system that can no longer be kept hidden in the dark.

There is also spiritual meaning contained in the prophetic use of the name “Assyria,” just as there is in the term for Egypt and Israel. This is two-fold in its application and meaning as it can be applied spiritually to the spiritual organism of the Church and it can be applied in spiritual meaning to physical nations. As the term for Egypt is about captivity and enslavement to sin, the spiritual term for Assyria is about captivity and enslavement to government. Where the term for Egypt is about sin, the term for Assyria is about perverted government that rejects and omits God as its guide.

Spiritual Assyria is the cause of governments failing in the scattered nations of Israel (both physical and spiritual). It was also spiritual Assyria that caused such devastation in the Church of God at the time of the apostasy. A government that excluded God’s guidance and direction resulted in the spiritual Abomination of   Desolation. When the battle of the apostasy struck the Church   the Israel of God   there was destruction, scattering, and great captivity that followed. It is this understanding about the spiritual term for Assyria that concerns captivity that helps to clarify and strengthen three truths that earlier were given to the Church.

Truth #32:
Ezekiel 5 has been spiritually fulfilled through the scattering of the Church of God since the apostasy. After the Abomination of Desolation, approximately one-third of the Church remained in the Worldwide Church of God that had then become completely Biblically corrupt (or they accepted the same kind of beliefs of other false churches in traditional Christianity), one-third gave up completely, and one-third went into the various organizations that formed afterward. That last third was to endure further trials, mirroring what God said about Laodicea. Within all this spiritual destruction, God prophesied that a tithe (ten percent) of a third would survive captivity within this end-time destruction and be offered to become His remnant Church that would continue to the very end. This small remnant Church is spoken of in many other prophecies of the Bible. [For more understanding of this remnant Church, see truth #34.]

Truth #34:
Of all who have been scattered, God is awakening a remnant out of it as a witness of this end-time. That witness is to both the Church (about God’s calling into His Church through time and especially of this end-time) and the world (in how the world has responded to God for the past 6,000 years). The vast majority of the Church that was scattered, including those offered to become part of God’s remnant Church, has not repented of the Laodicea condition, and they remain prideful and lukewarm. God clearly revealed He would not accept a lukewarm attitude toward His calling and declared that such would be vomited out of the Church (cut off from God and the power of His spirit in their life).

Yet in the midst of the destruction from this end-time apostasy, God promised to awaken ten percent of a third as a witness of what God was doing, and as a witness of what the scattered Church would do during Laodicea and the time of His final witness.

Ezekiel 5 aptly pictures what happened to God’s Church after the apostasy. “A third part of you shall die with the pestilence and with famine in the midst of you, and a third part around you will fall by the sword, and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them” (Ez. 5:12).

The first third that died of pestilence and famine is about those who simply quit and gave up completely. These were diseased and famished spiritually and died (went into full spiritual sleep). The next third that fell by the sword are those who turned from the truth, from the word of God, and thereby were spiritually destroyed by the two-edged sword of God’s word that judged them and cut them off from any further access to His spirit. These too went immediately into complete spiritual sleep.

The final third was scattered and eventually formed into over 600 different groups and organizations. Yet these were not shocked into repentance after the apostasy and the same sword went among them as they drifted spiritually into a deeper unrepentant Laodicea attitude. These too fell into complete spiritual sleep.

All three groups went back into the spiritual captivity of Egypt and became enslaved in spiritual bondage once again. Yet in the midst of this captivity, God promised a remnant protection from the captivity that had so quickly engulfed the Church. Although this small group was promised protection and that they could survive the captivity of the others, they were to be thrust into trials and tested to see who could remain as part of the remnant to the return of Jesus Christ. “You shall also take a few in number and bind them in you wings” (Ez. 5:3). There was special protection and intervention from God for each person who was offered to become part of this remnant.

The timing for each person given the opportunity to survive the captivity was not the same. People were drawn out at different times from one of the three forms of captivity that had come upon the Church. The Church began to refer to this process as being awakened from spiritual sleep. Not everyone who received God’s awakening responded in truth and in spirit. This is very much like when God first calls a person and offers the awesome opportunity to become part of His Church. Most do not receive it and still others reject it in time, even after they declare they have accepted it.

“Then take of them again (those offered protection to survive the captivity and be part of the remnant), and cast them into the midst of the fire (to be tried and tested), and burn them in the fire, and therefore shall a fire (trials and testing) come forth into all the House of Israel (the remaining remnant of the Church)” (Ez. 5:4).

God offered protection and survival from captivity to a tithe (ten percent) of a third of all who went into captivity. Once put to the test, all did not hold fast to what God offered them. Although the Church did not understand it through this period of time, we knew that the Church was holding near a count equal to a tithe of the tithe in number (ten percent of the ten percent of a third). So what happened to all the other 90 percent who were given opportunity to be in the remnant? That which happened to them is exactly what happened in one of the accounts of Christ’s life when he granted healing to ten lepers (Luke 17:11-19).

All ten lepers were diseased, infirmed, and ostracized by the world. They were very much held captive to their condition in life. Only one who was a stranger (not of Judah) a Samaritan, had the humility of mind, with a spirit of gratitude, to return in worship and thankfulness for the healing Christ offered him. Even in their oppressed state, the other nine were filled with pride and void of any sign of thanksgiving for what God had offered them. The base nature of mankind, even in some of the most oppressed conditions of life, is strong in pride. Even in the environment of the Church at the end-time, this is one of the greatest lessons in life that can be learned.

Laodicea was filled with a spirit of pride and ingratitude for everything that God had offered to them. They could not see the depth of true riches God had given them and instead they took to themselves these riches. “Because you say, I am rich and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, miserable, poor, and naked, I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire so that you may be rich and dressed in white so that you may be clothed and that the shame of your (true) nakedness does not appear, and anoint your eyes with eye salve so that you may see” (Rev. 3:17-18).

So who were these of the larger number of people   the nine in ten who rejected God’s offer to be in His remnant Church to the end? It is exactly like what has happened when God first offers a calling. People in the Church never get to know them because they quickly reject what God offers. There is also a large number who do make some contact with God’s Church (the ministry), but never follow through with acceptance of God’s offer. Then there is a third group, who do accept the offer and enter into fellowship, but in variable periods of time they have turned away.

So the Church has not known all whom God awakened who rejected His offer to escape captivity. The vast majority quickly rejected what God had placed before them because their pride was far too great so that they might humble themselves to become part (the remnant) of what they could see through their narrow vision of such a small and widely ridiculed group.

These are those who would not exercise humility and accept God’s government and guidance through the new remnant organization, so they rejected it. Their rejection resulted in a captivity to spiritual Assyria. They rejected what God had offered them, as they would not accept the government of His new remnant Church and chose instead a government more to their liking and comfort.

Others whom the remnant Church has not known in their personal fellowship consist of those who were repenting of their Laodicea attitude as God personally was revealing it to them. They were not required by God to become part of the remnant fellowship, but they were judged separately for what they were given to know. These are those who were of older age and/or filled with illness that God did not require more from before they died during the years that followed the apostasy. Most of these were long time members of God’s Church who had very much been proven before the apostasy.

Since the apostasy, their also has been a large number who did come into fellowship with the remnant Church and at some later point they turned from God. They have come and they have gone. Most of these have made themselves enemies to the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. To their own shame and bitterness of spirit, such first rejected their calling (the Laodicea spirit of error) and then rejected God’s great awakening to be a remnant of His Church to the return of Jesus Christ.

The magnification of this truth is recorded as a great witness for all time. Lessons will be drawn and preached from it for centuries to come.

Truth #43:
The remnant God awakens will consist of 10% of a third of those in the Worldwide Church of God, before the apostasy began. Yet as covered in Truth #34, not all accepted and received God’s awakening from captivity. The prophecy of Ezekiel 5 tells of both the scattering of the physical nations of Israel (in the Day of the Eternal) and spiritual Israel (which has already occurred). This and other prophecies also speak of a tithe (ten percent) of a third of both physical and spiritual Israel that will survive as a remnant.

It needs to be understood what happened to the Church that was scattered so that one can understand what will happen to the scattered nations of Israel once they experience great tribulation and destruction. When such happened to the Church on a spiritual plane, it did not mean they were uprooted and moved to some other location in captivity, but they became broken, shattered, and scattered as a result of the collapse and failure of government that had been leading them. When the government and economic systems of these nations collapse, peoples will be divided, broken, and in complete disarray   scattered   without the former guidance, security, and leadership they had been trusting.

Regarding prophecies that speak of a tithe of a third of both physical and spiritual Israel surviving as a remnant, it should be understood this is God’s promise   the minimum that He promises. However, as covered about the Church in Truth #34, not all accepted and received God’s offer to survive and be delivered from captivity. For the Church, this has nothing to do with God’s promise in Revelation to draw 63,000 former people of Worldwide into the Millennium, as these are not called to become fully engaged over any meaningful period of time in fellowship as the witness of the remnant whom God awakened. There will be a much larger group than the remnant who will be led out of the captivity of Egypt and Assyria   the 63,000 who are offered it.

God’s promise to ten percent of a third of the physical nations of Israel is His minimum promise to them. The number can be more and it can be less, and it will still fulfill what God has said. The final numbers will be a result of their own response. In the worst of response, as with the result of the Church, God promised He would grant protection and survival to 10% of a third, but 90% rejected it. The physical nations of Israel will have the same choice before them. However, with these nations, God has specifically been working to bring them to the best possible moment and condition that will lend itself to a positive choice and acceptance of His offer. This final number can also be larger, but under all conditions it is God’s minimum promise to offer deliverance to 10% of a third.

Ever since the apostasy, the Church has been experiencing great tribulation, but it is nearly over and physical tribulation is about to begin in this final Day of the Eternal.

Intellectual Pride

Sunday, March 24th, 2013

On the 51st day of False Prophet Ronald Weinland imprisonment for not giving Uncle Sam his share of the loot taken from PKG members, Terry Lee Wrozek gave the sermon in Cincinnati where a number of PKG members have traveled for the seasonal holy days.

The topic was the sin of pride: pride of appearance, pride of position within the church, or religious pride.  But the biggest sin in the pride category would be intellectual pride — understanding the Bible on your own rather than relying on Ron Weinland’s interpretation.

In just a short while, it will be sundown at the Terre Haute Federal Correctional Institution and the beginning of Passover.  Unless the Day of the Lord gets Great and Terrible in the next couple of hours, Ron will have to observe Passover with Bubba.  While he can probably get an unleavened cracker, I doubt the Bureau of Prisons will let him have wine.  Maybe Ron has converted Bubba so he can get his feet washed.

A New Year for the Den of Thieves

Monday, March 18th, 2013

On the 44th day of False Prophet Ronald Weinland’s imprisonment, Senior Evangelist Johnny Harrell gave the sermon in sunny Orlando Florida.  Regional elders Newt Carter and Jeffrey (Diehl??) gave the prayers.

Johnny droned on in his sermon series about the road to crucifixion. Ron often compares himself to biblical characters.  Johnny mentioned the perfect biblical characters, the moneychangers who were chased out of the temple by Jesus.  The IRS and federal courts have chased Ron away from PKG funds, but others are still in control.  I imagine that Jesus had total effect on all the moneychangers, even if it was only temporary.

Jesus also issued a curse against a fig tree, which visibly withered the next day.  Unlike Ron’s curses.  Over 4 years after his curse for the speedy deaths of those who mock him, I’m still at it.

And Ron is still at it, turning to blogging since he can’t talk on the Internet.  I’m attaching a copy of a new blog post put up for Ron in the past few hours.

—- Ron’s posting of March 18: ” A New Year” ————————–

Once God’s Church entered this prophetic day, the year of the Eternal, on Pentecost of 2012, Pentecost of 2013 seemed so far away. Our hearts had been set on the return of Christ to occur on May 27, 2012, but that did not happen. Then God quickly and mercifully revealed that His Son would not return until the following Pentecost of May 19, 2013.

God revealed that on May 27th we had not entered the final physical day of man’s self-rule as we believed would happen, but we had entered the final prophetic day of man’s self-rule. We had entered the day that is scripturally referred to as the “Day of the LORD” which is the “Day of the Eternal’s (Yahweh’s)” execution of judgment upon mankind at the end of 6,000 years, just prior to His Son’s arrival as King of kings.

Time has passed quickly and we now find ourselves in a new year. Passover will be observed in just a few days, in this first month of God’s calendar. We believe that we have entered the most dramatic, dynamic, and life-changing year of all time. It is ever so fitting that God is revealing to us that the focus and foundation of what He is bringing to pass is based upon His Passover that He gave to mankind. With this year’s observance, God is giving us a sharper focus and deeper vision of the timing and purpose of events that will unfold between Passover and Pentecost.

God’s Execution of Judgment:
On Pentecost we learned why Christ had not yet returned, as we had entered a prophetic day in which God’s judgment would be executed. It would not be executed throughout that day, but within that day.

Before the Millennium can be established, mankind must first receive God’s judgment upon them for rejecting Him over the past 6,000 years. That rejection is amplified most by the world’s rejection of His own Son and their judgment to put Jesus Christ to death. Mankind killed God’s Son, who died near 3 pm on Passover day. This world’s government and its leaders are guilty of the death of the Passover Lamb.

Christ foretold this event in the parable of Matthew 21:33. That parable describes a wealthy landowner who had planted a vineyard that was fully set up and equipped for the production of wine. Once everything was thoroughly furnished for production, the owner rented the entire operation to farmers (husbandmen) who were to reimburse only a small portion of the harvest. After everything had been entrusted to the farmers, the owner moved to a country far away. He periodically sent his servants to check on the land and the production, but those to whom he entrusted and rented it only abused his servants by beating some, stoning some, and killing others. This went on for a time and finally he sent his own son, as he believed they would at least show respect to him although they wouldn’t to any of his servants. However, when the son arrived they decided they would take all to themselves, and since the son was the sole heir they killed him.

This parable is how this world has always treated God’s servants and His own Son. After telling this parable, Jesus Christ asked a question that reveals the just response to this world.

“Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?” They replied to him, “He will severely destroy those wicked men, and will rent out his vineyard to other farmers who will give payment to him in the season of production.” Jesus said to them, “Have you ever read in the scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected, the same has become the head of the corner. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is awesome in our eyes?’” (Mat. 21:40-42)

Indeed, a most fitting judgment upon mankind would be God’s execution of judgment that corresponds to the timing of the death of His Son on Passover. As God’s Church, we watch (both physically and spiritually), knowing God has granted us great blessing to be able to observe this Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. Within this observance of these days, a final countdown begins for the “stone that has been made the head of the corner” to become set in place as Jesus Christ is established as King of kings over this world.

All Happens In God’s Time:
Time will soon reveal if God will now bring such judgment upon the world within this time period of Passover to Pentecost or if there is more to be learned that has not yet been given for us to see. If we do not yet have a completely clear picture of the timing of these end-time events, then we will humble ourselves before God and seek to learn what we do not know. God’s people can see no more than what God gives to be seen, and God has given us much!

But as of now, we boldly move forward knowing God’s richness that He has poured out upon us. However, we are not so filled with pride or arrogance to believe we are perfect or fully perfected. Yet, we should be filled with boldness and confidence of spirit that God will continue to lead us as He so powerfully has over the past many years since He reestablished His Church that had become scattered.

One only needs but to look at world events and conditions to see (discern) that summer is very near, as Christ gave in an analogy. North Korea and Iran are moving rapidly toward instigating a nuclear war. Russia and China are determined to destroy the petro-dollar. They collectively have enough gold on hand to turn the economy of the world upside down. There are numerous scenarios that portend the collapse of the U.S. dollar. This only scratches the surface of signs we should easily recognize that Christ’s coming is very near. Indeed, the world is very near major changes that include a complete worldwide economic collapse and a nuclear WW III.

Everything is a matter of timing God’s timing!

Passover:
God’s Church moves forward in the “present truth” in boldness of spirit. Ask God for more of that spirit and strength of resolve to keep at the fight of moving forward and not to be pulled backward in fear.

This is a great Passover that we are to partake of in just a few days. We are to examine ourselves in truth and in spirit concerning how we are living and carrying the name of God in our lives as part of the Church of God. In this same spirit of examination we are to look closely at our relationships with others and especially with God and our High Priest, Jesus Christ. More than ever, we should be deeply inspired and motivated to want to show our greatest thanks, respect, admiration, and love to Jesus Christ for what he has sacrificed to give us all that we have in God’s Church.

This season, more than any you have ever observed, should be geared to expressing and “living” great honor toward your Passover, your elder brother, and soon coming King. We are part (partakers) of something far greater than we can possibly understand, yet we should seek to understand and show honor to our Father for what we have been given to see.

God is making His Church to stand! As one elder recently stated (paraphrasing), the Church had been told that God would make us to stand in this prophetic day and this elder realized that is exactly what they were being blessed to doto stand. Our being made to stand will take on far more meaning as this too is going to soon be magnified many times over.

Prepare for this Passover more than at any time in the past. Pray more. Examine yourself more before God. Seek to draw closer to God and Jesus Christ. As I have pointed out recently, this does not just happen, you have to make it happen. Make this Passover the most meaningful you have ever observed. Make this Passover very personal with God, in great honor to His Son.

First Phase of the Fifth Seal

Thursday, March 14th, 2013

Unconfirmed Confirmed reports are that Dennis Luker, United Church of God president, has passed away.  There have been previous reports that he has cancer.  As of now, his death has not been announced on the UCG website.  (Reported on the UCG blog. )

On page 107 of “2008 God’s Final Witness”, Ronald Weinland described the First Phase of the Fifth Thunder

The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living Church of God. The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God. Then, those in the largest scattered group, who think they have escaped, will be lifted up to believe that God is with them because they are so filled with pride. But, when that happens, the deaths of many in the United Church of God will begin.

How much more specific can one be to show that he is either of God, and indeed His prophet, or someone who has clearly stepped over the line to be dealt with by God in a speedy manner. Time will tell! And, you don’t have long to wait!

Ron prefaced this by stating that he had petitioned God “that this first phase of the Fifth Thunder be fulfilled exactly as it is written here”.   Since none of the five CoG leaders mentioned in the first paragraph of the quote have died, seems that Ron’s place on the #3 spot below God and Jesus is not very secure.  Maybe he should have gone up the chain of command and petitioned Jesus instead.  Perhaps that’s why Jesus has been rather obstinate about returning on Ron’s schedule.

God’s Visible Truth

Tuesday, March 12th, 2013

Maybe we’re seeing a pattern here.  Laura visits Ron on Sunday, he gives her the text of the blog post, someone types it into a computer on Monday and Jeremy uploads it to Ron’s blog on Tuesday.

I’m glad to see that we’re achieving “a great clarification on timing and prophetic preciseness”.  If only I knew what that really meant.

—————–  Ron’s posting ————–

Before I began writing this on the Sabbath and as I was seeking God’s help and guidance concerning this post, I was marveling at how God has always led me in this end-time. It has been a process of “building,” where one newly constructed (revealed) understanding has always led to the next one that He has given. This has been very much like constructing a building in that you cannot get ahead in the process as certain sections must be built first before you can proceed to another.

This process of how God has been revealing truth has happened so often since Pentecost of 1998 that I now recognize these moments quickly. I have learned how God works with me. Over 6,000 years, God has chosen many varying and maturing ways by which He has worked through His servants.

At this time that I was seeking God’s guidance for this post, I was in awe of how God had just revealed the meaning of the prophetic hour that is spoken of in Revelation: “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet, but receive power as kings one hour with the beast” (Rev. 17:12). This understanding came as a result of the last post in which God revealed more about specific areas of prophetic timing. As that was not the subject of the last post, none of this information was included in that post. Some will liken this to a “carrot,” as it will not be covered at this time either, and I am not yet sure of when it is supposed to be given.

Example from Herbert W. Armstrong:
As I was seeking help for this post, a familiar example used by Herbert W. Armstrong came to mind. He sometimes referred to the process of God revealing more and more truth to the Church as being like pieces of a puzzle continually being added that made the picture of God’s plan grow clearer.

This post is a reminder of this process God has used to lead, inspire, mold, and give great growth to His Church. To see how awesomely God has blessed us with growing revelation of His plan is indeed encouraging and motivating. Reminders like this can help us mightily to continue in confidence to press forward and fight the warfare of this end-time.

It is also good that everyone be able to see that the picture established through many pieces of the puzzle given through Philadelphia is a completely different picture from the one that was given since that time and is made up of different puzzle pieces.

The picture of the puzzle given to Mr. Armstrong began with three corner pieces that were partially in place. The primary corner was what identified the Church that was established in 31 AD. That Church carried the name to whom it belonged and through whom it existed: God! It was the Church of God and all other churches were false.

The next piece was the knowledge of an identifying sign of God’s Church being that of obedience to the weekly seventh day Sabbath, which on most calendars is referred to by the very word “Sabbath” in the respective language it is found (as Sabado in Spanish), and then of course that day is referred to on English calendars as Saturday. It was from this corner piece that more of the true picture became enhanced as this led to knowledge and truth of the annual Sabbaths (annual Holy Days) and God’s 7,100 year plan of salvation for mankind.

The third corner of the puzzle that Mr. Armstrong had from the beginning was the truth of 1st Tithe. This led to greater understanding about the complete tithing system and its purpose. It was through the law of tithing in Old Testament time that the Levitical priesthood was supported for the purpose of helping keep Israel (and later, mostly Judah) focused on God. It is by the same process of tithing that God has insured a means through which He would do His work, especially within His Church.

The fourth corner can easily be likened to the first great truth that is attributed as being revealed through Mr. Armstrong, and that is the matter of God’s government. Once God calls a person into His Church, that individual’s grasp of how God works in His Church through human instruments becomes of major importance to one’s ability to grow and receive what God gives. The picture of God’s government spreads throughout the entire picture as all become more at one with God in all truth that is revealed.

In the era of Philadelphia, God gave 17 more primary pieces of the puzzle (17 additional truths). As all of these 21 great truths were fully established through this time, many smaller pieces of the puzzle were intertwined throughout. That helped to fill in an incredible picture of God’s great plan and purpose that He was working out concerning the creation of His Kingdom. This picture that had now become clearer than any other time in the past 6,000 years was then published in Herbert W. Armstrong’s greatest collective work: Mystery of the Ages.

Another Puzzle:
Following what God revealed through Mr. Armstrong and after the great prophetic apostasy in the Church, God began to reveal an additional picture of a puzzle to His Church. It was not the same picture as the one given to Mr. Armstrong, but was built upon that original one (of those truths) given to him. This second picture that God gave his Church, with all the pieces of the puzzle He revealed, added many finishing touches and beautiful clarification to what had been given in Philadelphia.

This new picture would become very clear after all four corners had become established and many pieces of the puzzle filled-in through this time. As the puzzle was being filled-in it gave far more clarification to God’s work of final preparations for the establishment of His Kingdom and the reign of His Son as King of kings. During this period of time, God revealed 36 additional truths beyond what had been fully established during the era of Philadelphia.

The first corner gave stability and purpose to a remnant of God’s Church. The Church went through turbulent upheaval when doctrine became turned upside down, resulting in massive confusion and scattering that followed. God revealed that the prophesied apostasy of 2 Thessalonians 2 had come to pass. Many other pieces quickly began to follow as a very clear picture was given of how and why this had occurred in God’s Church.

Another great corner was given when God revealed that only He has eternally existed and that His Son had a beginning once he was given life through human birth. He then became the first to be born into the God Familyinto Elohim. This truth opened the way to deeper spiritual insight into God’s Family and matters of a spirit world.

One more addition was given once God revealed that Christ could only return on a Pentecost and not on Trumpets. From the addition to this corner a great clarification on timing and prophetic preciseness emerged.

During the time of witness of 3 1/2 years, God revealed 7 truths that were separate and distinct, but all being based on a final corner from which all 7 truths emanated. These were a factor of time that is a transition from man’s 6,000 years of self-rule to that of the Millennium being established.

As we fight at a time that has some of the greatest spiritual battles ever, it is not only good and wise that we digest as fully as we can all 57 Truths God has revealed to His Church, but that we also be equipped with the inspiration and strength that comes from grasping the awesomeness God worked through Herbert W. Armstrong and has continued to do through this end-time.

Framing

Saturday, March 9th, 2013

For this, the 37th day of False Prophet Ronald Weinland’s imprisonment for not paying taxes on the money he spent on himself and his family from the PKG bank accounts, Wayne Matthews has left a pre-recorded sermon.

It will be late tomorrow before I listen to it and post my analysis.  Contrary to Weinland’s counter-mocking of me after his death curse on me failed, I do have a life.  Today I’m busy with an activity that has nothing to do with false prophets.  It does involve more than one kind of framing.  But not the kind of framing in building construction.  Nor the kind of framing that has to do with evidence (Weinland has that taken care of).

I’m opening this post for those who are anxious to hear what Wayne has to say in his no doubt logical sermon and comment on it.  I’m off to my framing activity.

I’m back home from my framing activity, maybe more on that some other time.  On my return journey, I listened to Wayne’s pearls of wisdom on the sabbath.  Wayne said that knowledge of which day is the sabbath is needed to properly calculate when Pentecost is.  Yet Herbert Armstrong calculated Pentecost was on Monday up to the ’70s while mainstream Christianity calculated it for Sunday.  Interesting.

Wayne mentioned that PKG members should not work on the sabbath and the unconverted should cover for them on the sabbath.  While eating out in restaurants is a topic of some controversy in other CoGs, PKG does not worry about that.  Before Ron was convicted and was able to travel, he would gather after services in a restaurant with the dozen or so “local” members who showed up and by some accounts would pick up the tab for everybody.  (Maybe it could be viewed as being able to eat out tax-free as it was paid for from tax-deductible tithe contributions).

Wayne is looking forward to getting phone calls after the Second Trumpet blows and “nukular” explosions finally happen.  Wayne isn’t too concerned about the EMP from the nukes taking out the phone system.  His advice to people trying to dodge radiation will be to stop working and keep the sabbath.

Perhaps Wayne is looking forward to relocating to the US, if some speculation I have received is accurate.  Wayne has had his home on the market for some time, and after reducing the price now has a contract with someone to buy it.  Better close the deal fast, as sundown of the year-long Great and Terrible Day of the Lord comes in less than 10 weeks from now.  Redneck Johnny’s sermons will put everyone to sleep before then.

Sense of Urgency

Monday, March 4th, 2013

Ron missed his blog post last week.  Guess the mail service is slow in this great and terrible Day of the Lord, as it has just arrived. And is reposted here for your convenience and commenting.

—— Ron the Con’s post ——————-

It was stated a couple of posts back that we were at noon in the Day of the Eternal and from that point forward the shadows of the day would grow until that day ended. It was from this example of the shadows growing longer that God declared there would be such a time when He would execute His judgment upon Israel. We believe we are in that time frame of this prophetic day and that during this period God will execute His final judgment on all the world in order to usher in a new one.

That post was given as an admonishment to God’s Church to remember the importance of being spiritually on guard and ready. It was also given to encourage a greater measure of soberness about the reality that horrific end-time events can truly happen at any moment. Capturing and holding onto such an awareness is not easily accomplished, but it is necessary.

Having such purpose of focus along with being constant in belief can only be accomplished with God’s spirit. This becomes all that much more urgent upon us when you add to this that there is an evil spirit world that is highly agitated and its objective is to fully distract you from having such a spiritual focus. Anything that can be used to turn your focus inward on self is now being intensified. Their time is growing very short and they know it. You need to “see” this reality as a war in progress in the midst of a great battlefield. It must be treated in such a manner, as the greatest spiritual battle in which you will ever be engaged in life.

Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong consistently exercised the gift of a sense of urgency regarding God’s work and the Church’s part in it. All should learn from his example, as more than ever each person needs that same sense of urgency in their spiritual life and to maintain it without interruption to the day of Christ’s return, regardless of the date.

The World Rejected God’s Passover:
God’s Church has been led by a strong desire for the return of Jesus Christ. Over the past many decades, God has clearly revealed to the Church that the world is spiraling toward the next and final world war that will be followed quickly by God’s intervention to halt that war in order to prevent mankind from annihilating himself.

So we continue to keep alert to an end-time clock that is rapidly running down. God has granted us many occasions to focus on scriptural examples that motivate, inspire, and even sober us in order to help us grow spiritually and to keep focused on the race we are in. That recent post referred to at the beginning is a good example of this very thing, as we considered the scriptures that spoke of God executing His judgment upon Israel after the noon of day, once the shadows began to grow.

It is obvious to us that noon in this prophetic day was not the beginning of God’s execution of judgment concerning the resumption of the blowing of the Trumpets of Revelation. That hasn’t begun. We continue to fight the battle before us and to become more alert and on guard. We know that such events can begin at any time, whenever God wills it so. However, in this post, we are being given another important milestone in time that we are to consider, though it could still begin before that time.

We are rapidly approaching the observance of Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. It is from this season that the final count to the Pentecost that ushers in the Passover as King of kings will occur. Let’s consider some of those verses relating to our Passover who first came as a Lamb and is soon coming as a Lion. God’s execution of judgment upon Israel and the world has much to do with their rejection of His Son.

This is the account of the death of the Son of God. “Now from the sixth hour (noon) there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour (3 pm). At about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice saying, ‘Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?’ That is to say, ‘My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?’” (Mat. 27:45-46). “Jesus, when he had cried out again in a loud voice, yielded up the spirit. Then behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth shook and rocks shattered” (Mat. 27:50-51).

From noon until 3 pm on that Passover day, Jesus Christ entered the final stage of his agonizing torture that was finally brought to a close after a soldier had pierced his side with a spear (Jn. 19:34) and out came water and blood, and then he died. Christ’s Father marked that period by darkness over all the land as His only Son was dying a cruel and hideously unjust death. The world has always been cruel to those whom God has sent.

Would it not be most just indeed for the Day of the Eternal, also called the Day of God’s Vengeance, to also include God’s response to the world following the “time” of His Son’s death?

In this Day of the Eternal, 3 pm will arrive on April 4th, however the accounts of Christ’s death gives a time that is about or near 3 pm. It could be a little while before or after that exact time. In all this, God’s Church continues to “watch” (physically and spiritually) with eager anticipation as we look to God to begin executing His righteous judgment upon the world so that the pride and evil in this world can be brought down and humility of spirit raised up.
