One Purpose Only

On various occasions, False Prophet Ronald Weinland has explained the bling on Laura’s fingers.  Here is his statement on October 24, 2009:

Laura and I do something else a little unique because of our traveling.  We’ve had and do carry with us certain jewelry, of which some of the church has purchased portions and we have others as well ourselves.  That we are using for one purpose only.  And that’s bartering.   Wherever we might be, at some point in time — I don’t care where it is, that we be prepared for whatever takes place.  The ability to barter — transportation, or whatever thing else we need to do to get from one place to another to do something else that might need to be accomplished.

Laura’s jewelry was discussed during Ron’s criminal trial.  Here is the summary of that testimony summarized by one of the jurors on the trial:

Jewelry, jewelry, who’s got the jewelry?
As part of the testimony, we heard from an employee of Jared Jewelers who handled much of the Weinland’s jewelry purchases and repairs.
We saw receipts and statements for jewelry purchases and payments, spanning 2007 to 2009. There were several quite expensive rings, totaling a couple hundred thousand dollars, if not more. It seemed that Laura had quite a taste for diamonds and opals. The defense for these purchases, of course, was that they were a safety net to be used to barter when the end came, and when money was worthless. They would take this jewelry with them when they traveled the world, in case they suddenly found themselves in a place that didn’t take American Express. They claimed that this was the church’s jewelry, not Laura’s. It just happened to be sized to fit Laura’s fingers, and custom designed to fit Laura’s taste.
As is the practice with this jeweler, customers with good taste do not generally buy something “off the rack.” The stones are selected first, and then the setting/ring is selected and purchased, and then the two are combined into one piece of custom jewelry. As we were given descriptions of each piece, the prosecution asked the witness from Jared if it would have been more economical to just purchase the each of the stones without having them made into elaborate rings, and of course the answer was yes.
The point that the prosecution was making was that if the sole purpose of these jewels was for bartering in an emergency, they wouldn’t have gone to all the trouble of having them made into custom-designed jewelry for Laura. The actual role that these pieces were serving (in REALITY, not in the fantasy of post-apocalyptic trading that may happen someday) was to feed Laura’s vanity and to give her something shiny to wear on each of her fingers.
Not all of the pieces of jewelry were designed and purchased by the Weinlands at Jared, yet Jared had a record and an appraisal for each of the pieces, including the ones purchased in Australia. Jared had these records because earlier THIS year, April or May of 2012, Laura had all of her jewelry taken to Jared for the purpose of cleaning and repairs. Each piece was photographed, evaluated, appraised and recorded for insurance purposes, and to make sure that there could be no confusion as to the description of each one-of-a-kind ring. It was noted by the witness that Laura, Ron and Audra were all present when the rings were being dropped off at Jared and the instructions given to the jewelers as to what repairs should be done to each. Mysteriously, many of the rings were being resized. The prosecution did not ask WHY they were being resized, but the answer was hinted at with the next pieces of evidence…
For each of the pieces dropped off for repair, a receipt was signed when they were picked up again by the customer. However, it was not Ron who picked up this jewelry, nor was it Laura. It was Audra who picked up and took possession of all of the expensive rings, containing hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of diamonds, opals and gold, just a few weeks before Ron’s trial was set to begin. Were these rings being resized for Audra’s fingers? Did Audra give the rings back to Laura or was the intent for her to keep them? Was Laura trying to shift ownership of some of their personal wealth in case the trial did not go as planned, and the government decided to seize their assets?
Unfortunately, these questions were not answered in the trial. So the burning question still remains- “Who’s got the jewelry?”
I have a feeling that the answer to that burning question will soon be: “The IRS”.
Yet PKGers prefer to believe the nonsense put out by Weinland’s spin machine.  Such as arguing that Ron was convicted of 5 counts of criminal tax evasion because his church doesn’t own a building.  Or expressed in comments such as “I’ve previously talked to Laura about a bit of the history of it… personally I’m not surprised it turned out this way – it is man’s system after all… We know what the money was used for and I don’t have a problem with it…. ”  and “it had to do in part about the money they had over in Switzerland then brought back to use on the Google advertising, etc.. issue was whether they had to pay taxes on it because it was for church use”.  It turns out that the IRS started the investigation, not because of the Swiss bank accounts, but rather because of his profligate spending.
And this comment by a member: “I know in my mind this is God’s church, and I know Ron well enough that he wouldn’t swindle it for his own personal gain.”  Twelve jurors obviously thought differently about that.  Perhaps you will come to understand that as well.
In related news, the horse did not learn to speak.   Judge Reeves has ruled on the motion Ronnie’s high-priced legal team filed for acquittal, and it didn’t turn out in his favor.  The government had a powerful response to the defense motion.  The judge’s ruling concluded:
At the conclusion of its case-in-chief, counsel for the United States outlined and summarized a great deal of the evidence it had presented. Without repeating this summary, the Court noted then – and notes now – that the evidence presented was more than sufficient to overcome a motion for judgment of acquittal. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that the defendant’s motion under Fed. R. Crim. P. 29(c) to set aside the verdict and enter a judgment of acquittal is DENIED.

I honestly didn’t think the jewelery was classy enough to be worth that much.

I guess now that the end isn’t coming (or is it? i cant tell with all this “its the begining of the day” crossed with the “its not about the dates” and the “it doesnt matter if it continues for another 10 years”) Laura wont need the rings for bartering, so audra can have them.

Hey, can someone pleeeeese tell me what a ‘ feast ” is all about ? sorry for the ignorance, but it suggests to me , that its some kinda party, ? ( I’m miss’n out on ? )
Is it like a Bar-b- Q ? after a crazie rant ( sermon ) about ‘ everyone’s going to hell ? ‘, and you’ve gotta go back the next day , and apologise to everyone ? or come back when its dark, to make amends ? and you’re misses does’nt talk to you for two weeks after ? or what ? am I putting myself ‘ out – there ‘ too much ? • Mike (DDTFA) says:

A feast is where the PKG members feast on Ron’s latest “truths”, “revelations from God”, etc washed down with the Flavor Aid of God’s government=what-Ron-says and the “way of life”. Afterwards, Ron feasts on their special offerings, using part of it to finance his apocalyptic fantasies and the rest … well, just refer to the posts and comments about trial testimony.

  • Debbie says:

That business with the rings is too much – no surprise tho’ – I would imagine these Weinland crooks have done whatever they can to hide assets – they have been doing that for years and their greed will be their continual undoing – Ronnie says how ‘he & Laura do something unique’ – he tells it like some of the jewellery has been paid for by them – they have no other income than the tithes & offerings so that jewellery is paid for by the PKGers – and it is the PKGers who are paying to insure the jewellery as well –

The PKGers have now been OK’d to send in their tithes – and for any who might have extra 2nd tithe, they are to send that in as well – More smoke & mirrors to get the PKGers thinking about the feast instead of possibly questioning another failed prophecy and changed timeline – what a crock and what a crook – Ronnie probably needs the $$ to settle his lawyers bills –

Anon – glad you are here – no need to continue living in fear – Ronnie has no power over you except that which you allow – like others here have said, you will have a range of emotions in this adjustment period – it is a sad and painful experience sometimes to discover that someone you have trusted has deceived you – and sometimes you might feel angry toward that person or yourself – these feelings will pass with time – Many of us here have experienced these things and have been able to move through it to discover the joys of living and loving without fear and dread & you can too –

  • jack says:

“Afterwards, Ron feasts on their special offerings ”

    Lol

Yep. A BBQ for the sheep and another windfall for Ron and his spawn.

I really liked reading the court ORDERS the defendants motion denied. Nice try Ron. Make it look like you are trying to be a law abiding citizen. We both know the the court will be issuing a warrant for your arrest soon. You sir are a true con artist as exhibited by your greed induced complacency. Europe awaits. How long can you hide? Even ten years down the road you will still have a warrant with your name on it. And the face recognition software is getting better every day.

  • Budgie Smugglers says:

Ok Mike , ( DDTFA ), thanks, thats probably why I never got an invite to a ( feast ) ? come to think of it, I never met a prophet/preacher who appriciated my sence of humor, or my company ( come to think of it ) 😉

  • Mark says:

I could never be a prophet like Ron. I have a conscience.

  • As those of you among the PKG come here as you have doubts about your cultmeister, as you go through your mental rolodex of emotions attempting to select the right one to fit the occasion, may I suggest the obvious (among revulsion and disappointment):

    Anger.

Some come away confused and frightened, fearful of what may happen to their connection to other PKG members. We understand. But understand this: You have been ripped off and lied to; you have been treated with contempt by an arrogant @#$@*!

You have a right to be angry. Scripture says (if you believe in such things) “Be angry and sin not and let not the sun go down upon your wrath”. Ronald Weinland has worked hard to earn your wrath. It’s time you vent some of it (being careful not to be accused of threatening Weinland — let the Federal Court do that).

May I suggest that you do what I do: I become angry over the injustices of such as Ronald Weinland and his whole rotten family, but I don’t go to bed with it. I find other interests and focus my attention elsewhere for the calm peace before I lay myself down to sleep.

And then I wake up refreshed, ready for a new day and I renew my focused anger to go forth and do something about it (anger is a great motivator).

“Revenge is mine, saith the Lord, I will repay”.

In the meantime, we can be busy about exposing the scoundrels for all we are worth.

With a touch of sarcastic ironic angry mocking.

  • FedUp says:

Rings worth many thousands being used for barter? I agree that loose stones would be easier to trade. What if you’re only offered a fraction in goods of what one big ring costs? What if all you’re trying to trade for is a tank of gas? Or a meal? Would he seriously expect to hand over one of those rings for so little? And now the rings will be hiding in plain sight on Audra’s hands? Am I mad, or is that the worst excuse for theft by religion we’ve ever heard?

  • Matt says:

More weird Weinland-logic. So suddenly the predictions do not matter, it is the lifestyle (the followers, not Ron’s lavish one paid for by tithes) that counts?

But then why make such a fuss about them? Why write a book? Why call yourself a Prophet? And, I ask again, why is Ron then so threatened whenever someone doubts him or criticises him?

Obviously, the predictions DID matter. They just did not materialize. And Ron keeps squirming around trying to avoid having to admit that the things he said did not come from God. He may even have thought they did, I am not sure, but we can say for sure now that they came from Ron himself and nowhere else.

Think about it: If Prophesies fail, it can either be that a) God lied, b) the Prophet lied, or was deluded into thinking God spoke to him. Unless you want to think it is likely that God mumbled, or failed to express himself clearly.

And if Ron is clearly not a Prophet, and fallible, then how come differing opinions from his own are not tolerated? How come he still claims to speak for God?

  • gullible says:

ron’s google ad’s back after so many weeks => “2012 is economic collapse & WW III”. But I’m sure everyone knows he just changes the year, every year, to keep the ad up to date.

There is still hope for some in the world who has never heard of ron to get ron-conned. ron is truly doing god’s work in separating fools (usually sincere/honest fools) from their wealth. ron will then do his part for the economy and spend it like there’s no tomorrow.

  • Anon#1 says:

Lets look at a realistic scenario for this jewelery:

Nuclear fallout. Crops are dying everywhere…..famine and hunger is everywhere. Ron and Laura stomachs are growling. They approach a man who prepared for the end (He has a good stock of food and supplies).

Ron, “Excuse me sir, I have this ring I would like to trade with ya.”
Man, “Oh my….you know, I stocked up on all this water, food, and supplies and in my rush I forgot to stock up on jewelry!!! I have NONE!!!”
Ron, “Well, today is your lucky day! I have this $100,000 ring thats got your name on it.”
Man, “Oh, that sure is a beaut! I’ll be right back.”
Man leaves room and comes back 5 minutes later with a hamburger and a coke. It smells really good.
    Ron, “Whats that?”
    Man, “Your trade.”
Ron, “This ring is worth more than all of this food and your house combined! You want me to trade it for a hamburger and a coke?!?”
Man smiles and takes a bite of his hamburger and a sip of his coke. “You know, when I was a kid, my momma told me a story about 3 little pigs that each built a house. One was made of straw, one of wood, and one of brick. When the winds came, the brick house stood. You two ain’t very smart are ya? You can keep your little precious….good day y’all.”
Ron and Laura leave the compound with the smell of that hamburger filling the air. Stomachs growling even more now, with the $1,000,000 of jewelry still in their pockets.

Ron, did you “increase in power and recognition by others?” well… you are now known by 12 jurors who didn’t know you before. Your own words prove your lack of credibility.

I don’t think he could EVER be called “eloquent”! That’s as much of a stretch as “sent from God”…come to think of it…he isn’t “rationally-sounding” either.

That settles it then….”LUNATIC” it is!!!

LMAO! I love using his own words against him. What a doofus!

  • Our message to Weinland: We don’t know if God sent anybody, but if He did, it certainly isn’t you.

  • Pt Editor says:

I spoke about jewelry with a person in the business recently. I asked if diamonds were being bought up in anticipation of a possible economic crash. He said no. Business is terrible because diamonds and the like are a poor investment unless you own the mine.

Seems Ron is a piss poor prophet and business man. But his sheep hear his lies and continue to follow him over the bridge and on the way to their own economical apocalypse. In the end we all land up supporting the dumb sheep when they go on welfare…at least until the economy crashes and there is no more money to support them with. Then the sheep starve to death. End of the PKG.

Y’know, a thought just occurred to me. RW kept telling his people to send in as much money as they possibly could so the work could continue; he then buys jewelry for his wife to wear stating it is for bartering; yet he tells his people money would be worthless…. If he was on the up-and-up, why didn’t he tell his people to take their money and buy jewelry for barter??? Nothing, absolutely nothing, that RW did makes any sense. And if this would be God’s one and only true church, where is God in all this??? Why are the people left to fend for themselves??? Why is RW not relying on God instead of “storing up treasures” in the way of jewelry and bank accounts?

RW is a fraud and has been for many years. He has no conscience, no remorse and no soul.

I think this is a really good post and that every PKG member should read it again. Then again. Then slowly for a third time. Actually think about it for yourself and you might find (and powerfully so) that Matt is helping you here.

Anon1 makes a good point in a way that made me laugh. No sane person can believe that a 100k rock is of any use bartering for the essentials in a post-apocalypse world. If you meet people and they are kind, then a 100k rock is no good to them in exchange for their tin of beans. If you meet people and they are not kind, the minute you identify a 100k rock you will get yourself and your husband shot dead and the rock stolen for when things pick up again. The point is, PKG people, that it is so self-evidently BS and stupid that to even discuss this kindergarten kind of scenario should be enough to leave you feeling dirty. The fuckin’ things were clearly not bought for the “end times”.

  • Whisper01 says:

Custom jewelry for barter? How does one parter a $100,000.00 value ring when the whole world is dieing? One hundred $1,000.00 dollar coins could possibly barter for food or transport etc… but a $100,000.00 coin (ring) is retarded.
Of course it was a lie from the word go, so no matter on the logic of it, but one could come up with a better lie. Then again old wRONg was only lieing to the sheep who will swallow almost anything (kind of like feeding a goat, it will eat anything so it almost does not matter what one feeds it). A sheep hears “barter” and “during the Armeggedon” and does not even attempt to figure out the specifics. This is were wRONg struck gold, he could tell such a simple and un-specific lie and no one would ask the obvious questions (good to have your own following of non-thinking sheep). But a jury and govt. lawyer are not stupid and will ask and further more track down the receipts to define the truth of the matter.

Oh the wayward follower of idols, they latch onto wRONg and wont let go. He’s actually an anchor in thier lives.
I do wonder how well that anchor will hold down the “faithful” when it’s behind bars? There is lots of good oportunity coming up for the sheep to wander off as the roof of this sham of a religion collapses in.
Of course, their nature is to walk straight to the next barn with a a carbon copy minister preaching “The end is near” so they can feel good by giving that sheep herder thier money so they can again feel special.
    Go figure?

“Of course, their nature is to walk straight to the next barn with a a carbon copy minister preaching “The end is near” so they can feel good by giving that sheep herder thier money so they can again feel special.”

Some religions think that giving the priest money will buy them a special place in heaven. Money does not buy you “specialness”. It does not grant you “a place in the kingdom”. I heard a saying once. It goes: “The love of money is the root of all evil.”

I always found the barter argument made no sense, considering what Ezekiel 7:19 says about those very troubled times in which Ronald supposed he would use this “barter” – exactly as Whisper says, they will be worthless. And the Bible itself agrees:

They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing. Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the LORD’s wrath. They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin.

“because his church doesn’t own a building”

This was a defense put forward by a PKGer? Is this rationalization, or the party Kool-Aid? Because the Church used to make a point of priding itself on the fact that they never wasted money on permanent buildings for the congregation — yes, yes, I realize what the naysayers are going to say next — it is my opinion that the Colleges were necessary because they tried to instill unity of purpose and belief in the ministers ordained by the Church.

(Note I said TRIED. If said ministers/students were not chosen by God to be called at this time, and got the crucial details wrong, how is that the fault of the Church?)

“I know in my mind this is God’s church”

Yeah, yours, and 750 other splinter groups and “independent congregations” (which is all PKG is, with its miniscule numbers). Talk about driving camels through eyes of needles!

As for the jewelry — members were always encouraged, by most of the ministry *I* encountered anyway (and some still do encourage this, believe it or not), if they had the financial means to do so of course, to purchase gold bars or ingots.

The rationale being (rightly or wrongly) that gold would never depreciate in value (whereas precious stones can and would), and gold ingots could be EASILY (note that word easily) melted down in to smaller sizes that members would be able to more effectively use in place of currency.

Presumably (in the mid-80s) the Church was thinking of the Middle East, where this was the case, at the time. I’m not sure what it’s like now, and I don’t think it’s even on anyone’s radar anymore; I’ve read rumours on the Internet a long while back that Flurry’s “Edifice Rex” was touted by some as being the place of safety — yes, in the U.S.

Then we have the Two Witlesses who go to Jerusalem, and, DO WHAT? “Spiritually die”? Sorry, wrong answer, better luck in a hundred and twenty years or so…..

That kind of precludes fancy custom-designed jewelry that cannot be easily broken down to its constituent parts though, doesn’t it?

  • used to be one says:

seems ron preached several sermons on stocking up on things like food.. and that gold and silver would not be worth a can of soup. think campbells ..not jareds….now if he is stocking up on jewelry and other worthless items instead of food supplies..then by his own words does he condem himself..this is of course just one of many examples of thier greed..no true prophet or preacher of God was ever rich in wordly goods….

  • Velvet says:

“They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin.”

I think that’s the key part of that verse, SF, tied in with the other OT financial admonitions not to charge interest to others, and not to serve Mammon. Balance in everything, I say.

No, I don’t have any gold, ingots, or jewelry. (As if! Whatever happened to “it is acceptable to wear small, inexpensive, tasteful items, but nothing flashy or gaudy”???)

Great verse and well said Watching.

How did God prove who he sent?
Did prophetic events unfold with increasing power and frequency? Did they unfold at all?
Did Ron increase in power and recognition of others? Does the world know who Ronald Weinland is? Is the Church growing or shrinking right now?
Is it God’s purpose for his final prophet to steal money from the Church and spend it on luxury items (for himself and his family)? DO you need to accessorize sack cloth clothing with $1,000,000 of jewelry, fancy cars, and an expensive house?
Did God intend for his final prophet to disobey the laws of the place he lives, just so they have more money to spend on spas and vacations? Did God resend what was written about the deaths of his final 2 prophets so one of them could spend time in a federal prison?

For any PKG member out there that reads this. The answers are simple. Use your ears, eyes, and mind that God gave you. You have known for a long time that Ronald Weinland is a false prophet. You just don’t want to admit it.

  • gullible says:

ron makes it look like he’s not greedy/desperate for money, so he tells PKGers to hold on to their tithes until he says it’s ok. It’s now ok to send it (ha, just can’t wait any longer can you ron and get your filthy hands on it). ron’s hoping PKGers are dumb enough so as not to see his reverse psychology that’s worked so well for him. And again, by mentioning how ron learns not to look at numbers (when he really does). ron knows how to get on his audience’s good side, making himself look like Moses, David, Jesus, etc, as if he is in some way affiliated with them, when he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing (and sackcloth). When all fails, everything is just a TEST!!

It’s amazing how ron has prolonged/delay this charade. ron hates mockers and thinks he understands why we mock (ron understands alright). ron, I challenge you to do the RIGHT THING by:
    1) refunding all money to the last dollar to everyone that you’ve stolen since you started your prophetic venture over a decade ago
    2) admitting your a false prophet, so PKGers can be automatically released from captivity (of a control freak) and rebuild their lives.

PKGers don’t know yet they are deep in captivity, and it will take a miracle for them to wake up. PKGers has been programmed to hear ron’s voice for so long, that they believe they are hearing god. ron takes advantage of this to create fear in them, by going against him.

When ron says “get a life”, ron is saying “get lost”. You bought a ticket to a non-event. Sorry no refund. I deceived you. You got conned, so stop bothering me and let me get on with my con!

It’s a no brainer ron, why else would one mock, unless one has been cheated, tricked, lied, scammed, ripped off, manipulated, used, abused, betrayed, etc, etc. I hope you get to feel a little of what many have endured because of you, instead of giving fake sympathy.

Why don’t you explain to PKGers the real reason why people won’t stop mocking you and who you really are, instead of misdirecting (to avoid the truth) saying things like how PKGers can be like us mockers, if they are not careful.

  • gullible says:

Is it God’s purpose for his final prophet to steal money from the Church and spend it on luxury items (for himself and his family)?

ron answers: Yes, most definitely, as it is only god testing for the fun of it, to see whether they still will follow me. Those who continue to follow me will be proven (dumb sheeps) and will inherit gods kingdom. Yes, you better believe it – my god loves playing games with the mind (trust him). They will also be tested for their patience as they must wait till god gives me an explanation why I stole their money, or better still, I may not disclose such information, so they can be tested in understanding authority and not to question anything.

  • Judge Reeves rules against Weinland… again! What wonderful news.

PKG members (who stocked up on food items for use “when things get bad”): Donate them to the local food banks and do some good.

Douglas, I’m sure most of it is expired by now.

  • Jocko says:

Budgie, You don’t know what you’ve been missing all those years. Great food, multiple sermons, new truths, fellowship with like minded people who are in it not for the dates, but for the way of life. And you probably would have been lucky enough to meet the two former witnesses in person because Ronnie prefers GC meter maids over the fat ugly ones we have here in the states. And I hear the wench enjoys GC scenery herself not to mention the shopping and all those bulging budgies running around. Too bad Ronnie won’t be attending any feasts any time soon but on the upside come September 24th he’ll gain some bulging budgie admirers of his own.

  • Atrocious says:

Oh goody goody goody *claps hands*. We get to hear about another “sermon” being given tomorrow. I wonder if there will be any “new truths” or “new threats”. I wonder who RW will liken himself to be; hmmmmm…he already used up Moses and Jesus and Joshua and God…. Oh oh, I know *claps hands again*. He’ll liken himself to Samson, you know, the strong man who lost his strength when Delilah cut his hair…oh wait, RW doesn’t have that much hair…nah, it can’t be him. Uh, oh, I know! Noah! Yeah, that’s it. Noah! It took 120 years for Noah to build the ark. And it’ll take 120 years for Christ to return! Uh, did he use Noah already? *scratches head*. Oh now, here’s a good one, and this one would be way more believable! The serpent! Yeah! The serpent who told LIES and DECEIVED! Yep! That one’s a snake! Yeah, that’s a good one! But, *scratches head again*, I don’t think RW will used a snake. That’s too much of a give-away as to who he really is!

Ah well, I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

  • excogger says:

Atrocious, what about Jeremiah? He was thrown in a cesspool by his king for delivering a most unpopular message. Ron is likewise in the metaphorical poo up to his armpits. I don’t envy him, but some of life’s lessons are learned the hard way.

  • Avoura says:

You have to be pretty stupid to carry around expensive jewelry to barter with in emergencies. Who can swap a $1000 ring for a trip on a train? The two are totally different in value. A more sensible option would have been to carry some gold coins, which have value and are also legal currency/money.
So, a defence of saying the jewely was to barter with, makes no sense to any sensible person.
Looks like Laura liked the jewels and it was paid for with tithe-payers’ money.
The Weinlands robbed God’s people and are still unrepentant.
He will have to sit in a cell in prison and contemplate his errors. Will he repent? Will he learn his lesson?
Or is just a pawn of Satan who will not repent in this life, a tare placed amongst God’s people but never actually one of them.

  • Douglas, I’m sure most of it is expired by now.

    Then donate them to prisons!

  • martin says:

I’m willing to wager that Laura will not sell one single piece of jewelry to pay for any lawyer fees.

  • Budgie Smugglers says:

Actually I thought that , If a person has a particular ring designed and then produced specifically for the owner, the overall value is immediately deminished, as not everyone has that taste , this, I have learned from manufacturing jewelers……the item can be de-valued for upto two thirds, of the cost of purchase ? does this apply in the U.S. ? and if so, the court needs to take this into consideration ? and where does this leave the Church ( fianaces ), with such ‘peculiar’ and poor investment ?

  • Atrocious says:

Investments, inschmestments! Just like the “college scholarship fund”; it didn’t exist. Investments didn’t exist. Those are just spur-of-the-moment excuses for his greed.

This man and his shenanigans makes me want to puke. What a disgusting anal orifice.

  • As for Federal Prison sites, may I suggest the Federal Prison at Seatac, Washington:

    http://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/set/index.jsp

It’s as inconvenient as hell, particularly for other family members wanting to visit.

Furthermore, it really doesn’t much look like a country club.

  • Here is a guide for Vistors to Canaan United States Federal Prison, just in case, you know… worst case scenario:

  • bags juror #199 says:

Looks as if everyone on here is putting all of the Weinland spending and church expenses together just as the jury did. Yes, it was beyond deplorable and completely just a spending frenzy.

The excuses that all the jewelry was a church expense for bartering, flew over like a lead balloon. C’mon, moRON! Couldn’t you and the dream defense team have been a little more creative? What a fool! I guess people in this world can be easily blinded to the sight of what a pile of S*** / prophet looks like.

  • martin says:

If you blinked you might have missed it.

The Great Tribulation, 3 1/2 years of the worst time in human history, came and gone.

  • Jocko says:

Ronnie was back at it with his “RW = Moses” sermon series part five yesterday. Atrocious, you asked for it, we got it. Last week’s sermon sounded somewhat different from the other bottom of the basement sermon’s Ron’s been giving since adding his bracelet of humility to his Nordstrom’s sackcloth wardrobe. Last week’s sermon even included Ron barking out his countdown to services just like sermons of old. There was also a much more festive atmosphere with pre-sermon chatter and laughter from the crowd with the laughter being predominately female. Perhaps there were a couple of “ladies” attending that sermon who were overjoyed to learn they’ll be going back to work now that the tithing express is back on track and running non-stop to PO Box Cincinnati.

Now for Ron’s latest work. It seems somebody’s been circulating videos within PKG acknowledging HWA as the only one raised up by God from “God’s Church” and even though this video includes much truth something is missing. And that is-The name Ronald Weinland. How can this be? Right now Ron’s back where he left off last week telling everyone how great May the 27th was and how this period of time between the two evenings will be the most meaningfully period of time in their lives and how it will define their lives for ever. Oh brother.

Here’s a surprise. Ron’s reading a letter from a member who’s apparently chugging down gallons of flavor aid daily because he’s telling Ron he’s been strengthened, rejuvenated and empowered by this sermons series. Is he listening to the same bottom of the basement sermon series we are? Wonder what he’s smoking or drinking? Oh, that’s right. Flavor aid. How many times can somebody listen to Ron say how awesome it was that the Israelites were able to harvest fifty bushels’ of quail per person from the quail God was sending during the exodus. Five weeks of quail bushels and still counting so I’m out of here. Looking forward to reading your review Mike.

PS. Bags Juror #199, I don’t how you were able to sit there for seven days looking at that fake, phony and fraud of a human being. Each day Ron remains out of prison on home confinement is an injustice to the American people. I hope His Honor makes up for this by handing down a sentence that will shock and awe every last PKG member.

  • Well Jocko, for the jurors, it was only 7 days. Most of us have had years of this crap.

The “ladies” remind me strongly of Ted Bundy groupies.

Hopefully, we aren’t talking about Dan Quayle (“It’s a terrible thing to lose one’s mind”).

    Or maybe we are.

  • Jocko says:

Douglas, My point being is those twelve jurors went above and beyond the normal call of jury duty and so did everyone else involved on the
government’s side. I don’t know how they did it. To sit there and observe Ron and his minions in all their arrogance for seven days straight had to be like attending the circus from hell.

As for those here who’s life stories involve enduring and overcoming Armstrongism is nothing short of a miracle. As I’ve learned from this very blog once you’re in it’s nearly impossible to leave and I don’t forget this fact for one second. Thousands of people without eyes to see with nor ears to hear with and they all think it’s visa-versa. Unbelievable.

  • chacha says:

I think now PKG is gathering 50 bushels of quail shit. That would make sense. That would make it even more incredible brethren…it truly is…

  • bags juror #199 says:

Jocko, “like attending the circus from hell.”

Nice way to put it! In regards to moRON. Once I realized what moRON was and about (in a very short time), it was a bit difficult to sit there and look at his sorry ass! It was an insult that he even thought he was going to b.s. the jury and the court like he did. You idiot! Well…..IT DID NOT WORK…..GUILTY x 5 COUNTS with no doubt whatsoever from all 12 jurors. We did that for the church! Guess we can blame it on the church too. Send me some money Weinland!!!!

It was rough sitting there for 8 full days total. Although, it was extremely entertaining at times. Often it seemed like a ridiculous joke that they thought they (moRON and clan) were convincing and explaining away this stuff. The last half of the last day was deliberation. The prosecutions evidence was just overwhelming. We kept waiting for a halfway reasonable excuse or something……anything, from the defense. They had nothing, but B.S. It was almost sad the way they tried to defend. It became quite mundane. The picture was clear. The defense did not have anything to work with nor do I feel moRON was very forthcoming with them. I’m sure they probably think he’s nuts & full of s**t as well.

The, “I bought it for the church” and “it’s a church expense”, crap got very old, very quickly. It was obvious that most items ( BMW’s, clothing, jewelry, vacations, groceries, deep tissue massages, homes, alarms & security systems, expensive landscaping at Ron’s home, Jeremy’s tuition & school fees, weddings & receptions, honeymoons, Starbucks, expensive artwork, vet bills, jewelry cleaning, maintenance, & sizing,(the list goes on & on). EVERYTHING WAS BASICALLY PERSONAL EXPENSES! ALL OF THIS PERSONAL EXPENSE FOR RON, LAURA, AUDRA, JEREMY AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS WAS PAID WITH “CHURCH MONEY”. No doubt about it!

My suggestion would be to never lie to your attorneys. If they really know what they are dealing with then one may have a better shot of getting the issues at hand resolved in a more favorable fashion. Jurors do not like being lied to either!

I also read where joker’s (Ron) last motion was denied. I think Judge Reeves is a bit beyond fairy tales and Mickey Mouse stories.
