Weinland’s Pre-Sentencing Release

If you haven’t received the latest news on False Prophet Ronald Weinland, read yesterday’s posting first.

Here are some of the conditions for Ron’s release pending his September 24 sentencing, which is 2 days before Atonement.  (Wonder if Ron is “thinking differently” about things now.)

So not only is Ron not able to travel around the US and Canada, (he deleted the “Trips” page on his blog where he published his upcoming travel schedule), he will not even be able to travel to the LaQuinta Inn in Sharonville Ohio (Cincinnati suburb) for the weekly get together.  Maybe they can clear all those books out of the basement in Ron’s mansion to hold services.  (The books are rather dated anyway).

Think it’s rather ironic here.  Ron is not allowed access to church funds.  But he’s using gold to secure his release.  Didn’t he say that was the church’s gold?

Wonder how much more money he has stashed away somewhere. This conviction puts a smile on my face. I wonder if it will wipe the smugness off of Ron’s.

  • GD says:

Wonder if they have put a block on his church of god account with Barclays bank in Fulham london ,justice will be served if he gets at least three and a half years . he will die in prison .

  • xHWA says:

I can imagine the announcement he’ll send from jail on the Day of Atonement:

“I witnessed to the judge who sentenced me that God has announced that he is now added to the list of 7,000 people to die swiftly.
And in a possibly related note, my sentence has been extended an additional 25 years.”

  • randy terlecki says:

lets start a pool on how much time he will get i say 3 1/2. justice prevails agian poor ron they framed him (NOT!!!) mike agian you are my hero!!!

  • randy terlecki says:

he still has to be jugde by god for being a false profhet. i wouldn’t want to be with in 100 miles of him that day!!

  • FedUp says:

Wow. That was quick. I had this lingering fear he would get away with it. Wow. How much time is he facing?

  • I hope those sentencing will take note of the fact that he’s using gold to secure his home release until September 24th.

As I understand it, many of the things which cannot be brought up as evidence in the trial proper may be used in the sentencing phase.

Let us all hope he not only gets the maximum sentencing but all his gold and personal properties he’s stolen from the PKG for personal use will be confiscated.

    This is all so amazing.

And it should be noted that this contributes significantly to the proposition that many will question their association with the Armstrongist cult[ure] and not just PKG members.

I hope you all escape to freedom. Except the leaders, of course.

  • JB says:

Mike, you are amazing, thanks for all the updates. Considering how the trial went and the return of guilty on all 5 counts and the restrictions and GPS monitoring, he could very easly get 3-5 years of prision time. Hopefully most members will wake up!! When there is a death of a young person, the schools offer counciling. There are going to be a lot of members that will need counciling and help. The person that has put himself above God has had some pretty hard falls in the last couple of weeks. Must say, I don’t feel sorry for him at all. I do feel sorry for all the damage he done to families. It has taken over two years but I think my husband is starting to come out of it. It has been a rough ride.

  • Whisper01 says:

and then there’s the 2011 and 2012 years that he has not filed yet for that may have even more transgressions in them from the IRS point of view.
From what I understand his future tax returns will be put under a microscope by the IRS because of this trial. More fun in the sun!

He can still use the COG-PKG money if its for “church business”, but this is what got him into this mess in the first place.

Wow, he took the stand himself? How stupid can one be?
The defense team let him take the stand? How stupid can they be?
The defense team took the case to court even though they didn’t have a case beyond religious prattle, how stupid can they be?
If there where lingering doubts in the jury’s mind I’m sure they were dispelled when Ron opened his mouth on the stand.
Again, how stupid can one be?
    Go figure?

  • It isn’t clear what help can be rendered for PKG members who will hopefully leave: They need the kind of help provided by Dr. Phil and Suze Orman — years of rebuilding a wrecked life.

I hope they take courage because the sooner they get started on recovery, the better off they all will be.

They may need help in court themselves, as in Bankruptcy Court, if even that is an option.

It is nearly impossible to face the fear and the guilt for being involved in something so stupid.

If any of you want help, we will help you here as best we can.

  • jack635 says:

On the detention form above, he is not allowed to go anywhere without permission. His movements will be tracked by GPS so if he does get permission to go to the doctor or a local church, he must go directly there and directly home. All it takes is one night of drinking to violate his GPS rules and it’s back to jail. I liked to see this included:

“shall not utilize any monetary funds from the Church of God for personal use other than agreed salary amounts.”

Ron will have to be content with whatever he is paying himself. I liked the part about he may not travel outside the Eastern District of Kentucky and is prohibited from travelling to the Southern District of Ohio, where his “church” is located. He is banned from attending his own church. Ya gotta love that one.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Jack, Ron _is_ the church. It is wherever he is.

  • Jocko says:

Just last week Ron was mocking his own trial and posting new traveling itinerary on his website. He must have been feeling pretty darn good about himself and his chances for acquittal. After all, he was being represented by one of the best legal teams PKG money could buy so what could go wrong.

Oh that’s right. Ron’s attorney’s put him on the witness stand to testify in his own defense. Even though the jury didn’t have eyes to see with nor ears to hear with they were able to see right through him and come back with the correct verdict of guilty on all five counts.

  • Psychopaths love brinkmanship. They play games. They are fearless.

And most of all, they just can’t believe they will ever lose.

  • Atrocious says:

I loved the part where ron gloated about the suit he was wearing. His arrogance was obvious to all that observed. I wonder if the three defense attorneys took his case because they, themselves, couldn’t believe his arrogance and just wanted part of his windfall, knowing he would most likely be convicted anyway. I guess some things we will never know. September 24th can’t come soon enough.

  • whatmeworry says:

Gotta wonder if any gullible members will slip him some cash under the table. They should have his phone tapped too.

  • Jocko says:

Things are stirred up big time in the southern district of Kentucky and that’s an awesome thing to understand.

    It truly is.

  • jack635 says:

Jack, Ron _is_ the church. It is wherever he is.

That is unquestionably true. I meant he would not be able to go to his traditional Cincinati congregational gathering place. His members will have to go to his hovel of humility on the golf course. I wonder if any of them have ever been inside such a large home? This Saturday’s sermon should be interesting. He will either mention how Satan is stirred up and trying to silence “God’s most formidable prophet”, or he won’t mention court at all.

With twenty or so members in his house this weekend, he may be able to get untraceable cash instead of tithe cheques. I don’t really want to listen to his blather on Saturday, so I will rely on your trustworthy ears Mike. Thanks for having the stamina of a diamond.

Next celebration: 24 September 2012 when Ron has a date with destiny.

  • jack635 says:

Scratch the congregation at his house. I just reread the home detention conditions. He can rent a hall in the Eastern Kentucky district for sermons, provided it is pre-approved by PreTrial Services administrating his GPS tracking account. Maybe Ron’s sheep won’t see the inside of a prophet’s tar paper shack this weekend.

  • martin says:

Has Ronald ever held a full blown service at his house?

It’s not a good idea for somebody fleecing his flock, to invite them over to the house they paid for out of their life savings.

  • martin says:

I don’t recall anywhere in the book of Revelation where the Two Witnesses do jail time.

  • jack635 says:

Perhaps Ron can spin his three and a half years in prison into lying dead in the streets for three and a half days, while we celebrate and make merry and give gifts because he was such a torment to listen to.

He won’t be able to spin it though if he gets FIVE years in prison for his CRIMINAL activities in which he disobeyed Jesus by not paying his taxes.

  • Richard says:

Cincinnati apparently isn’t big enough for two COG leaders. Game to UCG. :-/

  • Jocko says:

I think this may be only the beginning of Ron’s downhill run. I’m sure his defense team didn’t come cheap. Wonder how much he owes them? He’s also going to have to pay off those back taxes plus penalties.

Maybe it’s time to start selling off all that worthless gold and diamond jewelry but the one piece they’ll have to hold onto is Ron’s new ankle bracelet. Too bad the US Marshalls office couldn’t fit Laura with a matching bracelet.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Guilty on all five counts. Let’s see:

    1. We have been calling RW a criminal from Day One. We were right.
    2. We have called him a false prophet over his dates set for Jesus’ Return (Sept. ’11/May 27, 2012), and MULTIPLE other lies/failures. We were right.
    3. Ron broke his promises to repent and admit he is a false prophet.
    4. Ron has CLEARLY and PROVABLY stolen from the US government, having been found GUILTY of taz evasion, which contradicts US and GOD’S Law (“give unto Caesar..”). He is a CRIMINAL and a THIEF, thieves/false prophets being distinctly UNABLE to enter the Kingdom of God without REPENTANCE.
    5. RW has NOT repented and thus is NOT fit for the Kingdom of God that he proclaims in his “ministry”.

The PKG are DECIDING to follow a False Prophet now…there is NO EXCUSE for believing he has any Godly truth whatsoever in his life/words/actions. ZERO justifications/ZERO reasons to believe him.

MESSAGE TO PKG: You have been warned. You have continuously rejected that warning. If you believe in God and a Judgement Day, you’d better be ready to explain to GOD just how you managed to ignore EVERY warning and Scripture about liars and false prophets and REJECTED GOD for a CRIMINAL…

If you believe in God and follow Ron, then YOU are in the EXACT same spiritual position as I, Avalokiteshvara, am…an enemy of God and a guaranteed victim of the Lake of Fire. That must be a great feeling…knowing you are destined for the Lake of Fire with ATHEISTS because no matter how badly you wanted to be in God’s Kingdom…you REJECTED him….and are no better than a total ATHEIST MOCKER like me who has present his life openly defying God.

See you at THE LAKE, idiots!! LOL!!

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

It is also telling that the CHRISTIANS here at this site have NOT leaped on Ron and severely mocked and laughed at him, now that the US courts have found him as guilty of fraud as we knew him to be. RW has mocked his own mockers and yet when RW was caught by the Feds…his mockers have treated him better than he treated them. No death curses, no hate language…just the normal amoun tof human relief and thankfulness that a lying religious criminal is finally going to pay for his crimes in some manner. The mockers have behaved better than GOD’S APOSTLE, EX-WITNESS, ENDTIME ELIJAH…or whatever else Ron has proclaimed himself to be.

Let’s see…from the atheist’s point of view (an outsider’s perspective), it would seem that in the case of JESUS vs. Ronald Weinland/Yahweh…the CoG’s have yet again lost another round to Christ the Saviour!!

(Since the Christians are bound by their beliefs to be forgiving and have mercy, I’ll step in and do a little proxy mocking on their behalf)

Haha!! You got caught Ronnie!! Try not to start pooping your pants too soon…you are going to need the extra “material” to ease the friction from your first “wedding night” in prison when you become top bitch in Block A…God’s Apostle!! LLOL!! Herbie, Stanley Raider, GTA, Joe Tkach and the others never got convicted, and Flurry only got caught drunk driving!

You are a real champ, Ronnie! You are such a loser for being not even good enough to get away with even simple tax evasion, which would have been easy if you had actually learned something from being a WWCG minsiter all those years. You were a WWCG minister and you got CAUGHT? LOL! What a total failure of a minister! Benny Hinn and Creflo A. Dollar rake in multiple MILLIONS yearly, and it only took $300,000 + to take down GOD’S evangelist? You’d better start believing in whatever imaginary abomination the Hinns and the Creflo Dollars’ of the world believe , because your Yahweh is bad at numbers…imagine that…the God of the jewish people, known for their excellence in sciences and accounting, “bad” with money!! LOL!!

The God of the Universe can’t help you hide $300,000? LOL!! He can make the UNIVERSE, but can’t do simple math? You and your idea of God deserve each other…you are both idiots!!

    Consider yourself mocked, Ronnie…

  • martin says:

The Year of the Lord is supposed to be God’s wrath against a sinning world, yet we find God’s most formidable prophet “persecuted” and behind bars (well that’s later).

Wasn’t the tribulation supposed to be over? Didn’t Ronald say that it was over, and it’s now the Day of the Lord(year long)?

God’s prophet would surely get ONE THING right, wouldn’t he?

    Unless…….unless…….maybe he’s a false prophet(?????????????)

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

JB – that’s awesome about your hubbie! Was the turning point the guilty verdict? Or has it been coming along after Jesus non return? So excited for you! If he leaves though, more patience and understanding will be needed from you by him….. It will take some time to recover…

  • martin says:

Why hasn’t he paid 2011, 2012 taxes???? Did he outright snub the IRS? Or is he allowed time for that?

Why wasn’t that taken up by the court?

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

I’ll bet “God” will now reveal to Ron that Jesus is delaying his Return until…whenever Ron gets out of jail!!

Amazing how God just can;t get jesus back here since the PKG need to be tested and Ron must gather enough tithes to pay for his legal bills and credit cards, and back taxes, and his son’s free BMW shipped to Europe (who ships a EUROPEAN car to EUROPE?!!!). What an idiot! Much easier to do and JUSTIFY to buy the damn car in GERMANY and DRIVE it home to Berlin or Frankfurt or wherever lil’ Weinland Jr. lives , thus keeping it off the Feds radar, and you would lose pretty much the same amount of exchange on the Euro/ US dollar or less than the shipping costs anyways!! Just because the PKG gave so much money that he could pick a specific car?

Was für ein verdammtes Arschloch! Ronald Weinland, du bist ein Schwein Vergewaltiger…

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

    And for our Japanese friends…

    ロナルドは、豚との性的関係を楽しんでいます。

  • jack635 says:

Oh come on, Avalo. Ron doesn’t like pork. (in public)

  • jack635 says:

Oh Im sorry, were you talking about his wife?

  • Last Chapter says liars will not enter into the Kingdom of God. That sure leaves Weinland out in the cold… uh… so to speak… well uh… in the Lake of Fire, I guess.

I have seriously mocked RW since the decision, but just not here.

I’m hoping to more help the PKG victims if there is an opportunity. But only here. Other blogs, not so much.

    OK, OK, here’s a sample:

Well, and if he is sentenced to prison, it will be two days before the Day of Atonement, ironically picturing the binding of Satan in a place of restraint. This will be followed in October by the annual celebration at the Prison Feast Site, which pictures peace and prosperity in the earth, free from Ronald Weinland’s… I mean, Satan’s Influence, after which he will be loosed again on the earth for a little season to disrupt things again.

One wonders if Weinland will learn to fear God during those 8 days. The record is that he doesn’t fear the men God put over him, so probably not. He may come to fear, though.

Will the Prison officials let him off to keep the feast and not make him work those 8 days (let’s say, in the Prison Laundry)? Hopefully, he will be able to have Kosher type foods (although they may have a bit too much salt for him). It is doubtful they will allow him to rejoice with strong drink. Bread and water should do it.

We hope he gets the Sabbath off from his work details. Hopefully, he will not be on a chain gang doing something useful like working on the roads.

This way he can preach to the spirits in prison… well, at least preach to the other guys. I wonder if he will convert anyone to take up his cross and follow him. Perhaps it is more accurate that they might be somewhat cross about his teaching.

As for Jesus with his third return, it is not clear what he would do with Weinland. Perhaps he will let him stay in prison to teach him a lesson.

Or maybe take him out to throw him in the Lake of Fire where the Beast and the other false prophet are.

  • jack635 says:

Ron will have to follow the rules of the prison in which he does his time. Sunday is the official day off work, except for the essential services workers assigned to the power plant. Can Ron convert to Sunday? If he misbehaves, he can have time added to his sentence or be put in the hole. I hope in september he get sentenced to at the very least a time, times, and half a time. He deserves five “times”, which should put him on the streets in September 2017.

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

I wonder if this conviction in addition to Christs non return will wake anyone up?

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

Wayne? Can YOU admit YOUR error?

  • jack635 says:

Well……I suppose between now and September 24th, the PKG could be praying and fasting for Ron’s speedy vindication. Some how.

Perhaps Ron is being tested and tempted to use his special powers and breathe fire on the judge, thus causing a new trial. But he is trying not to use his powers because that wouldn’t be showing agape. Such a temptation for Ron. But I’m sure Ron will control himself and not breathe fire for his own selfish reasons. Agape will triumph. Wayne will encourage Ron not to fail.

  • jack635 says:

Hey Wayne, remember that sermon you gave on “No Lie is of the Truth”? Does this mean Ron is not of the Truth?

  • Mark says:

I guess the maximum jail time is 5 years. I hope he gets 3.5. That would be a fitting tribute. I’d like to say that this is God’s vengeance on Ron Weinland, but it isn’t. This is a direct result of SIN in Ron Weinland. He is a scoffer and a mocker. He fleeced his followers and stole from the government. Ron will die slowly, from the inside out, in prison. The end of Ron’s pathetic ministry couldn’t come soon enough.

Remember this Ron Weinland: Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” You sir, have fallen. You are fallen.

I wonder though, doesn’t he STILL have to pay all the taxes owed?

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

    I agree Mark.

I hope Ronnie gets 3.5 years, has to sell everything to pay his taxes, and lives the rest of his life with Laura in absolute poverty. That, after all, is probably what some of his followers will have to endure, because his PRIDE wouldn’t allow him to admit he was WRONG.

  • jack635 says:

I too would like to see Ron live the rest of his life in poverty, after his 2017 release from prison. But I have a feeling he has lots of money and doesn’t care what proverbs says, or any other part of the Bible.

  • Watching says:

I hope this will open the eyes of many who believe his teachings but for those who grew up in Armstrong’s Church and then followed Weinland, I doubt even this will do it. They don’t know any other way. All of their lives, they have been taught that only Armstrong or Weinland are truly able to understand the bible and whenever they are (or were, as in Armstrong’s case) proven wrong by a scripture, they change the scripture by saying that it was translated incorrectly and only they understand Greek (or Hebrew) correctly to give the true translaton.
I imagine the fleecing of the flock will continue, even if he does jail time. He will twist it to say that he is imprisoned, like Paul, where God is isolating him from the world where he has no distractions and can receive God’s newest truths, as revealed only to him. From his cell, where he and God can be alone, he will write God’s word and will need his members to continue to contribute so that the book can be published and made available to other sheep. The only thing this will do, is cut back on his travel. I hope I am wrong.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

In May of 2008, Ron hosted a reception in his home for the wedding of his son, inviting PKG members to attend. Just asked them to car pool from nearby business parking lots as parking in the subdivision nestled in the golf course is limited.

  • J says:

Weinland convicted of all charges and Matt Cain threw a perfect game. Yup, it was a good day.
