Power, Signs, and Lying Wonders
False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in warm Los Angeles yesterday before a crowd from states as far away as Maine. They were scheduled to break the sabbath (according to some zealots) by going out to a restaurant to eat together. Ron and Laura arrived at their Los Angeles hotel late the evening before, since he had to catch a late flight at 5:30 PM due to the 2 PM Friday afternoon appearance in federal court for the hearing to consider his motion to continue the trial for a second time. There were smug chuckles in the audience as he announced that the new date for the trial is June 4, which is the Monday of the second week following his scheduled conversion to spirit being and escape from the jurisdiction of the United States. I wonder if he’ll put his attorneys on a short leash and tell them they needn’t bother preparing for trial. Ron mentioned that his church was aware of the hearing, I wonder if he put the news out internally or if enough of them read of it in news sources such as the Cincinnati Enquirer and this blog to become aware of it.
Ron has updated his timeline charts and added a new one. Unlike the past, he did not post these charts on his website. Perhaps he remembers the debacle in 2010 when I criticized the inconsistencies within his own whacky theories and he revised them multiple times. During his sermon, Ron mentioned Power, Signs, and Lying Wonders (2 Thes 2:9) as originating from Joe Tkach (the Man of Sin and the Son of Perdition). The Signs and Lying Wonders are the Power of Ron’s charts to further entrap his deluded members. It will be wonderful during the millennium when each of the 144000 will deliver sermons to multiple feast sites, because they will be spirit beings with spiritual powers.
Ron’s blood sugar must have fallen toward the end of the sermon, or maybe he was still suffering jet lag. He had a number of senior moments, making a number of misstatements. Luckily his son Jeremy has the skillz to edit MP3 files. But maybe it wasn’t something like that, but rather a Freudian slip when Ron confused as to whether it was God or Satan making life miserable for PKG members. I say it’s both, two-two-two-in-one with Ron’s god equaling Satan.
This post is being published 3 months (both prophetic 30-day months and Roman calendar months) to the very minute from the moment that Ron will be disappointed that he doesn’t escape federal jurisdiction. (Thielogical Bob, your math is off, it’s still more than 65 days). And the moment the sealed members of COG-PKG are disappointed that they don’t don white “remaint” (that’s Ron-speak for “rainment”) as they are converted to spirit beings, and the family members of those in “the sealing” are also disappointed that they won’t be seeing their loved ones.
Well Mike, back in 2008 when we started blogging, 2012 seemed so far away. Now it is here and all Ron’s prophecies have ended up FALSE. While waiting for 2012 to arrive, a couple of times I felt it is soooo far away I would lose interest and stop blogging and even commenting. But here we are. And time does move quickly, so May 27th will come and go and the next waiting period will be Ron’s punishment by the U.S. government. I wonder if he will slip out of the judge’s grip. I know the PKG membership will fall apart while the disappointed look for another prophet to take their money, but those that stay with Ron will deserve what they get. Those who believe his lies are doomed to follow his next idea…….unless he retires. If he goes to jail for any period of time he may pick up some new “converts” to help him with his next con.
It is hard to predict what is going to happen. Will he run? Will he go to jail? Will he continue on in “repentance and humility”? Or will he just go away?
I’m not sure how Ron is going to play it. But I know what he’s NOT going to do. Ron will not stop preaching, so long as he can give voice to any slightly coherent although idiotic thought. He demonstrated that back in 2008 when he reneged on his “If by Pentecost” declaration. Even if he goes to prison and he is prevented direct contact with his flock of followers, he will try to control them remotely and will try to convert his fellow inmates.
Ron has already stated that if Jesus doesn’t return, that while not a prophet he is still an apostle. I would say it’s the other way around: he’s not an apostle but IS a prophet, a false one. Once a false prophet, always a prophet.
The mystery to me is how he will manage his members. His trial run in the LGD sermon didn’t turn out so well for some, for example ChaCha’s husband. I think he has lost a few others. But I think the majority are still chugging down the Flavor Aid.
I have a feeling that he will blame his members. As in Christ didn’t return because his members weren’t ready. I look for another epic fast between now an Pentecost. Maybe he’ll make it a 3-day fast this time.
What are his chances of being allowed to travel to Jerusalem for religious reasons? Do you think the court would grant him his request?
Also, does anybody know if there is a legal restriction on how many times Ronald can request a rescheduling?
I’m a bit puzzled as to how Ron is able to travel internationally when he had to surrender his passport. Maybe there’s some kind of limited passport they issue for people in his situation. I saw some poorly worded hand written comments in one of the early court filings that he might be allowed to travel internationally to countries which have an extradition treaty with the US.
Yesterday, Ron said that March 17th in Cincinnati was a definite which he didn’t before the hearing continuing his trial. March 17th was the weekend before his trial and after the pre-trial conference. I have no idea why that should make a difference but it seems that it might.
I’m not aware of any legal limitation as to the number of continuances. Probably up to the judge. But Ron’s had two bites of the apple, and by June 4th his legal team will have had almost 7 months to digest the discovery. I doubt the judge will let him have a third bite of the apple without very, very good reasons.
I have a feeling that he will blame his members.
If he continues to preach that would be a good excuse, he has blamed his members before. Maybe this time around he could lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of those PKG members that leave after the Great Disappointment. God did not recognise his church because it was weighed down by those who questioned “God’s Prophet” and their faith. It can’t be Ron’s fault, he has heard the “thunders” after all.
I wonder if the wife will get on the plane for the trip to Jerusalem, of if she will cop out.
Ronald would have to be killed by the Beast power on Wed. morning, if we are to expect his resurrection on sunset of Sat. of that weekend.
Presumably Ronald would get there early…let’s say on Tues., to give him time to mentally prepare.

I predict that absolutely nothing will happen. Ron will continue just as always and his flock will turn a blind eye and ear to the non-happenings, as they’ve always done. May 24th will come and go with no trip to Jerusalem, there will be no “slaying” by the masses and Ron and Laura will still be nondescript just as they are now. Also, there will be no repentance, no admissions, no forthcoming of his “falsehood”. He will continue to yell and scream at his flock for not doing what they need to do to make Jesus return, and they will continue to send Ron their money as he commands. Ronald Weinland (from what I remember) originally identified Joe Tkach (sr.) as the MOS/SOP, but then he died…I’m not sure, but I think he then transferred this to his son, he sort of waffles back and forth, and then I think he re-stated that it was Mr Tkach….but spiritually (since TKach, aside from being dead, never did any signs or wonders), then he waffled again by saying he was the MOS/SOP.

Wasn’t sure about Tkach Jr., I thought after Tkach Sr. died, I thought he was forced to recant this doctrine (since Tkach Sr. he could obviously no longer fulfill the 2 Th. 2:8 prophecy), and then transferred this title to his son.

The problem of composting in the Grand Canyon is that it might not be as green as you might think. We need to be concerned about the fuel consumption to get it from there to where it is needed.
Of course, it could be land fill, in which case, Ronald Weinland might be able to build a new mansion on it for himself and his wife — and it may be marginally better than building on sand, as he has done with his ministry.

If Christianity is to be a viable, functioning aspect of the 21st century and beyond, I believe it must be used as a tool for justice, not dogma. You would have to NOT WANT TO see in order to miss this GIANT failure of a timeline (in both cases). Why?
1. No matter how many weeks and types, the Jewish Messiah was NEVER SUPPOSED TO RETURN MORE THAN ONCE. No amount of Scriptural interpretation can change that FACT.
2. Jesus CAN NOT be the Jewish Messiah, as he offered salvation to Gentiles.
3. Jesus was NOT the Messiah because the Messiah was NOT supposed to be KILLED! NEVER EVER!!! NOT ONCE!!!!
4. ONLY the jewish Messiah was supposed to re-establish the state of israel as a nation with Jerusalem as the New Jerusalem from which the world would be governed. Thus, many Jews reject Israeli statehood. Zionism/Zionists have preempted the Messiah and thus Judaism is yet again proven FALSE.
In light of these FACTS…the very fact that Ronald Weinland has timelines is further proof he knows NOTHING about the Bible.
Flip flop Ron is at it again. Around the 51:40 minute mark Ron warns his followers to be careful in the new millennium “when the God family will be here” because people can still “sin”. I have been up all night working on an important project for work, and it just dawned on me, during a little break, just how much things have changed and are changing since I was young. Even in the last couple of years while I have been rallying against Ronald Weinland, my girls have been growing up, my wife has been developing a network of social assistance for Vietnamese immigrants, society is changing, etc. And I have been lucky enough to have had a lot of good fortune, peace and health in my sweet little family.
Which makes me just shake my head when I think of just how much life and living the PKG have missed out on while under the deceitful, smirking gaze of Ronald Weinland, as he continually convinces them that he is a meek little lamb, all the while being an insatiable mewling leech lusting for money and power he is too much of a coward to work for honestly. The PKG sit in their little conference rooms and congratulate themselves on believing the “truth” while they are being secretly laughed at in the back of of Ron and Laura’s mind. And many of them look at this blog and see US as deceived, miserable haters who are so filled with Satan’s spirit that we dare to mock God’s most holy Witness…
Yesterday was yet another day of life and love and freedom on Earth, and they chose to spend the day believing some random ex-Armstrongite charlatan from Cincinnati knows what God wants.

I hear you Ann – I was angry for a fair while after leaving. Used to daydream about harming the 2 witnesses quite regularly. I surprised myself at this, as I took responsibility for believing them and did not believe I was a victim – however there the anger was, substantial anger.

Once someone has listened to Ron’s sermons for a while you can easily see how he gets himself into trouble making contradicting statements week after week.
Ron’s latest contradiction about sin being allowed in the new millennium comes on the heels of him telling everyone how wonderful life will be in the new millennium without Satan and sin.
What began as a warning for the membership not to become luke warm going into the new millennium quickly turned into a shouting match but the only person shouting was Ron. As usual the congregation sat there in silence as Ron yelled at the top of his lungs.
The thought of a perfect world actually bothers Ron because he knows he’ll lose the power he now holds over his congregation. By allowing sin in the new millennium Ron gets to hold onto a last grasp of power before things finally come to a head on May 27th 2012.
Yes indeed Jocko, God really interferes with Ron’s supremacy, as God keeps on getting in the way of Ron’s pronouncements and prophecies. I’m sue he is trying to figure out a way to get rid of God and Jesus so he can finally receive the worship that is “rightfully” his. It is an old WWCG trick. Mr. Armstrong used to hammer home the whole “I’m the Leadr” schtick so hard that I grew up thinking Jesus Christ was supposed to return in order to prove the veracity of Herbert W. Armstrong’s ministry, like Jesus was a minor character in the grand opera of Herbie and his
Great Work. It makes me laugh when I see Weinland trying to pull the same game and thinking he is succeeding. Well, Ronnie? Herbie had millions of dollars, magazines, houses, a couple of jets, and a secret love of pedophiliac incest that he was never jailed for. You, Ron, have a website and a couple of manuscripts. You ain’t even half the bastard Herbie was!!!

You know Avalo before 2008 I had never heard of Ronald Weinland, Herbert Armstrong or an other COG leader for that matter.
Once I started following Mike’s blog my crash course in Armstrongism came from all of you here who’ve experienced it first hand.
I spent a LONG time in the WWCG. I know Weinland’s con game because I watched it play out every Saturday, for years.
People like Mike (DDTFA) and I are not just some random guys who don;t like Ron. We have been both inside and outside of the whole CoG system, and can see through Ron quite easily. Heck, Ron wasn;t even born into the Church like I was, so even HE doesn’t know the WWCG like I do, and he was one of their low-ranking ministers! So I can understand if the PKG don;t believe Ron’s opponents, but I, Avalokiteshvara, am something WWAAAAYYY more dangerous to Ron…someone who learned the truth about his lies BEFORE he even got started telling them!
Of course he has to curse Mike (DDTFA) and I to DEATH…becuase he can’t dispute the TRUTH that we tell. When the truth tellers go away Ron wins. But until then, Mike (DDTFA) and I and Chacha and Kirrily are living proof that he is completely full of sh*t. If God is so angry or upset by people leaving his Church, then why hasn’t God done what Ronald Weinland has told him to do, and KILL us? We are all healthy and happy. So that means TWO things alone:
1. Ronald Weinland is a False Prophet.
2. God doesn’t exist.
If Ronald Weinland TRULY is a Witness then he HAS the power to kill us. He said we would die, so it MUST happen in order for him to be a REAL Witness. If that doesn’t happen, then he is a false prophet . If God says that the Witness will have that power and Ron issues a death curse and it DOESN’T happen, then the ONLY other explanation is that God doesn’t exist or else he would be proven to be a LIAR too. If God doesn’t back up his promises he is a liar. If Ron doesn’t back up his promises he is a liar.
And since God CAN’T lie (a sin that keeps people from the KIngdom)…then He CAN’T exist!!
RONALD WEINLAND CAN ONLY BE A FALSE PROPHET, BASED ON HIS OWN FAILED PROPHECIES AND DEATH THREATS AND FAILURES TO REPENT WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD.
I think because Mike (DDTFA) and I and Kirrily and Chacha, etc all have different approaches to telling the truth about Ron that he has no choice other than to attack us personally. It is the coward’s way, and Ronald Weinland has proven himself to be a coward many times over.
Personal attacks are called “ad hominem” attacks, and people use them all the time when they themselves have been proven to be liars. For example, I am angry at Ronald Weinland for being a liar. Then Ron will say “Why should you believe Avalokiteshvara? He’s an angry person who mocks me!”. The trick here is that my anger is not the proof that Ronald Weinland is wrong. Ron’s own prophetic failures are proof, not my FEELINGS. It is possible for me to be angry and CORRECT about him. The two are not related. But he will try to make it seem like my being angry means I am “wrong”. When I am angry, or sad or happy, facts are STILL facts. I can be happy and zebras exist. I can be sad and the Eiffel Tower is in Paris. I can be looking at my wife and thinking about how sexy she is…and the whole time three things are still FACTS, thus true:
1. Zebras exist.
2. The Eiffel Tower is in Paris
3. Ronald Weinland is a liar. He has said he would do things he refuses to do, like admit he was a false prophet when the EXACT prophecies in his book DIDN’T happen…at all.
But the PKG still believe he is telling the truth, so they pretend that we are the liars in order to protect themselves from the terrifying thought” What if the “mockers” are actually correct?”.
Well? Look at this:
1. RW said the Asian Hordes would be rolling over the world right NOW. Where are they?
2. RW said that there would be NO US president after 2009. So why is Mitt Romney campaigning for the Republican candidacy in the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS this year?
3. RW said that Mike (DDTFA) and all the CoG presenters would die speedily from the inside, right away. That was FOUR YEARS AGO.
4. RW said that Christ did the majority of his work in the last three weeks of his life. I have proven elsewhere on this blog that only 11-13% of his work was done during that period. How can the End Time Witness of God get that so completely WRONG? And how can I, an ATHEIST get my theology RIGHT on that same issue?
5. RW promised on March 12, 2011 that if Europe hadn’t risen as the Beast Power and the Asian Hordes hadn’t begun seeping the Earth BEFORE 2012, then he would admit he is a FALSE PROPHET (you can go to that sermon and hear it for yourself!). Has he done this?
6. Deuteronomy says that if a prophet prophecies, and that thing DOES NOT happen exactly as spoken, they are a FALSE PROPHET. Is the BIble wrong? Or is RW a False Prophet? (Hint: The Anti-Christ will be known for changing times and laws…and Deuteronomy is a spiritual law about false prophets…)
WELL? Have I said a SINGLE thing that is a LIE? OR HAS RW LIED?
Regarding Ron’s statement in his Feb 11 sermon: “…up to a week in advance these things could happen, of the end, of Jesus Christ returning – 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Trumpets. Don’t think they can’t.” Don’t think they can’t? It is not a question if they can or cannot happen when in reality they WON’T happen AT ALL.
MESSAGE TO THE PKG: Don’t you find it strange that Ron has to keep changing the timeline and compressing it every time he has been proven wrong, which has indeed been every single time he has uttered a prophecy? He hasn’t got a SINGLE thing right, and yet he calls himself God’s Witness? How can God’s End Time Witness get NOTHING right and NOT be a False Prophet? If getting things right prophetically is proof then look at the following…
1. RW said there would be no US president in 2009, and I said there would be. I WAS RIGHT.
2. RW said that Jesus would be returning in September 2011, and I said Jesus would not. I WAS RIGHT.
3. RW said that the Asian Hordes and Europe would be active before 2012, and I said they would not. I WAS RIGHT.
4. RW said Jesus did the majority of his work in the last three weeks of his ministry, and I said that wasn’t true. I WAS RIGHT.
5. RW said I would die a speedy death from the inside soon after he had cursed me. I said I wouldn’t. I WAS RIGHT.
Ronald Weinland has officially announced he is the End Time Witness and a prophet. I am an ATHEIST. If I can accurately prophesy and Ronald Weinland can’t…THEN HE IS NOT A PROPHET OF GOD BUT A FALSE PROPHET AND A LIAR.
Avalo, I have to quibble with a couple of things you said.
That you, I, and all the rest of Ron’s mockers are still alive does not prove the non-existence of God. It just proves that if there is one, he’s not obeying Ron.
As far as Ron’s death curse on the competing Herblets of the various competing CoGlets, that was issued MORE than 4 years ago, closer to 6. May of 2006 was when he issued that curse in a sermon. It was over 5 years ago that he wrote them letters telling them to repent and adore him or die.
But I agree with “People like Mike (DDTFA) and I are not just some random guys who don;t like Ron.” Ron is actually not the worst of the cultmeisters. Who could be worse than Ron? In my experience, Herbert Armstrong was worse than his imitators:
– He destroyed more childhoods with his false prophecies than Ron has.
– He sucked up the life savings of more people than Ron has.
– He killed more people than Ron has, with his teachings about getting medical care. At least Ron allows that.
If Herbie were still alive, I might be blogging against him. But Herbie’s not around to pay it back. So I’m paying it forward to Ron, ain’t he lucky?
It seems as if Ron just can’t help himself when it comes to the delusional BS that flows from his mouth. The comment that people can still sin in the new millennium came as he was ranting and raving about the new millennium and the God family being here.
Once the words came out of his mouth it was too late to take them back and here’s what he said immediately afterwards. “They-the children that grow up in that world, and the common thing for them, I can-I-I-I understand it, but to comprehend that fully, because we haven’t lived in that period of time yet, there are going to be 144,00 that are going to hear preaching”
Not another word was spoken about sin in the new millennium and Ron’s babbling on the 144,000 is another story in itself.

Avalo.. internet jail, that is a new one! LOL I hear ya friend. My button really gets pushed to the limit when I think about the “stupidity” of people with only one mind, and that is Ron’s mind. How they can’t see the lies that come from his mouth (“constantly”) absolutely is unbelieveable. I really thought at one time, years back, they really knew their stuff regarding the bible, then to realize they only believe what Ron tells them is a big disappointment!!! If I would have let him penetrate my mind to the max, I would be a zombie also. Or shall I say “Stepford” world I would be living in right now and a very negative one at that. Bless those who are out…Doom and Gloom for those who are not. I love life and love living it to my best potential, each day at a time!!!
