Ron, Your Pants are on Fire (Again)
False Prophet Ronald Weinland managed to get around the confiscation of his passport to perform his weekly blather in Toronto. People traveled from afar to overflow the hotel conference room including Terry Wrozek from Michigan and Mitch Williams from Massachusetts to give the prayers.
God has revealed that the last 140-day half-a-time is the 5 months of torment mentioned in Revelation. And that 5 months of torment can be as few as just a few minutes anytime during this 5-month period. How do we know this? Because Ron told us and he is obviously God’s prophet. How do we know that Ron is God’s prophet? Because of all the detailed prophecies which have come to pass exactly when and how he prophesied they would. And let’s not forget of all the dead CoG ministers including the 5 he said would die early on. And then we have the hordes of people banging down the doors of PKG associate elders to become baptised. And the other hordes, the Asiatics currently rampaging and destroying the Earth.
And we should not try to put our own definitions on Ron’s prophecies. To take them at face value is against God’s purpose in revealing what Ron truly prophesied as God is revealing the true definition of Ron’s writings to him. Awesome what God progressively reveals.
Ron repeated his “to the very hour” claims relative to Joe Tkach’s moment of becoming the man of sin, taking time to mock my posting of January 14th in which I pointed out that sundown in Jerusalem on December 17, 1994 was on 9:38 AM Atlanta time. According to him, it was totally backward, ignorant, foolish of me to think that sundown on a particular day has any relevance. Seems that God run things according to man’s 24-hour clock an as I’ve pointed out long ago, sundown on the eve of May 27th is 7:36 PM Jerusalem time which is 12:36PM Eastern Time when you adjust for the timezone different. I wonder if God also adjusts things for man’s daylight savings time when making things happen “to the very hour”. Just wondering, since May will be daylight savings time and December is standard time, so was the very hour at 12:36 PM on Dec 17, 1994 or at 11:36 AM (don’t forget that we set the clock forward one hour in the spring when going to daylight savings time).
At least we’ve established from this weekend’s sermon that “to the very hour” is determined by man’s clock, not the sun, and that we have to adjust for differences in time zones. Ron, thanks for making that clear. So let’s see if Ron will respond to my post of January 15th in which I pointed out — oh, let’s just point it out again. Ron himself said in this weekend’s sermon that that they had to clear the hall on Dec 17, 1994 by 1:30 PM. This statement was right after he repeated his claim that Joe Tkach died 40 weeks later to the very hour. And I provided documentation (PDF download from Servants New website) of the hour and timezone that Joe Tkach died:
For those time-zone challenged people, Pacific time is 3 hours behind Eastern time. So Joe Tkach died at 5:20 PM Eastern time, long after and certainly more than an hour after Joe Tkach was kicked out of the meeting hall. And much more than two hours after the time that Ron has instructed Jesus Christ to return on the Saturday of this coming Memorial Day weekend. This still holds no matter how daylight savings time is regarded by God.
Let’s get out the hot dogs and marshmellows. Documented evidence: Ron’s pants are on fire.
A personal to PKG members. In his sermon, Ron described evil spirits that mock and scorn God’s people. The evil spirits are the ones who will try to suppress your thinking, responding to any questions about Ron’s silliness with instructions to pray and fast. If you have any thoughts of that sort, feel free to express them in the comments area on this blog. If you still have lingering fears about what your elder will do if he finds out you’ve posted here, then just be careful what personal details you give. As far as your questions, they probably are shared by others you know who are reluctant to give them voice.

“Evil spirits that mock and scorn God’s people”.
Ronald Weinland is RIGHT. There are evil spirits that mock and scorn God’s people. Their names are Ronald and Laura Weinland, and they mock/scorn anyone who dares point out that none of their prophecies have or will come true. Ron said there would be no US president in 2009.
FAIL = FALSE PROPHET
What do false prohets do after their false statements don’t become reality? What is the retirement plan for false prophets? Seemingly in old age they don’t recover, a la Harold Camping, and in middle age they tend to fade away loosing followers in clumps. The younger ones siimply go on to the next gread adventure as they have the energy and drive to run into the next chapter. What will middle age or older Ron & wife do? Are they to tired to keep the play going? Ron seems very tired indeed, his mind is all askew of explanations and solutions to what he stated earlier in his false prophets way. Those PKG’rs not given to thinking and reasoning want to carry on, but how long can Ron & wife carry on after May 28th? Oh there will be a official PKG explanation, but how long after that can Ron keep up his energy? He’s pretty lack-luster now and more failure is due by May, how much energy will he have to re-vitalize the sheep? It’s that creeping malaise that seems to be surrounding himi. Go figure delusion and lies would do that?
I found it very difficult for me to focus during yesterday’s sermon.
I’m happy to hear that other PKGers are questioning the 5 month time period. However, I feel as though Ron’s latest explanation of this topic has only confused some of us more.
As time moves along, I feel like I’m slowly backsliding out of PKG. I’m not as on fire for learning as much as I was in the beginning. There’s just too many unanswered questions. Even though I have these feelings, I HAVE TO GO to services and listen to sermons. I HAVE TO OBSERVE the holy days, because these things are the RIGHT thing to do according to God. RIGHT?? LOL…it’s like a drug. Part of me is beginning to see that I may have jumped to conclusions in my desire to know the truth…the other half wants to hold on to it.
When it comes to the veracity of Ron’s claims to have the truth on biblical doctrine, I don’t challenge him much on that. Not because I agree, because I don’t. If you’ve really proven that observing the sabbath and holy days are what God wants you to do, and by “proven” I mean more than just accepting Ron’s statements, then there are other options for doing that besides Ron. For example, my mother listens to Dave Havir’s group in Big Sandy, TX on Saturdays and his little CoG has several feast sites each fall. While Ron’s sermons are mainly about prophecy and very little about Christian living, Mom says that Havir’s sermons are the opposite.
What is the retirement plan for false prophets?
Lake of Fire.
Followers are advised to watch from a distance….
Ooooooooh! Pretty!
Does Ron wear thick wool pants? (Lots of fuel?) There may not be anything of him left for the LoF.
Fencesitter, I really do appreciate your honesty in posting here, and I welcome you with open arms. What you are feeling is “normal” for someone who has been indoctrinated so heavily into Ron’s group. You are confused because everything out of Ron’s mouth is confusing. It’s not you. Ron would have you believe that you are confused “because you aren’t understanding God’s revelations”. But that’s not the case. You are confused because Ron makes no sense. According to the bible, satan is the author of confusion.
You feel you have to keep the holy days because your belief system tells you to. And I agree with Mike, there are other places that keep these days without all the confusion Ron gives.
Myself, I don’t believe the keeping of days has anything to do with salvation, and I feel secure in the knowledge that I am loved no matter what I do – it’s a “heart” matter. But that’s me.
I do hope you come to the point where you can feel free to be who you are, that you can be happy and at peace and experience the love that is supposed to come from those who claim to speak for God. Ron does not show love, IMO, but insanity.
I hope you continue to speak freely here of your feelings. You have a right to express them.
Fencesitter, being an x-PKG member I can totally relate. I mean as Ron says, “where else are you going to go?”. It’s a scary proposition.
Mike has hit the nail on the head though, all Ronnie talks about are his prophecies now. The ‘Truths’ are really a distant subject matter.
I am now enjoying the birth of my son, a week ago today. A child I delayed having due to my belief in Ron, a false prophet. A child that at 39 years of age, was lucky I was not too late.
I have to wonder how many children do not exist today, due to belief in false prophecy of the ‘end time’.
If the ‘truths’ are what is important and paramount to you, maybe find another COG that reflects this. Although Ron has seemingly ruined this by dissing every other COG, it really is Ronnie looking the fool now isn’t it.
My best wishes for you in this very, very tough time.
Where can you go?
There are actually independent style congregations outside Armstrongism entirely which keep the Sabbath and Holydays, most of which are associated with the Seventh Day Church of God, Caldwell, Idaho (and The Herald of Truth).
Then there is always the low key, Redemption and Christ oriented folks of the Church of God Seventh Day, Denver Conference, but you have to get used to not having a false prophet as your leader, used to hearing about Redemption and Jesus and being around friendly non judgmental people. Unless you have the misfortune of attending a CoG7D church which has a former Armstrongist ex WCG minister whose moved in and taken over, in which case, you will have Deja Vu all over again and it will be less than helpful, damaging and abusive.
In some ways Atheism may be a better pick — hard to say.
Or there’s always traditional religions: The Lutherans are pretty low key as sterilized Roman Catholics. Different Synods have challenges. It’s kind of a diminishing returns kind of environment, but it’s fairly low rent.
Do NOT recommend Islam.
Buddhism has proved especially popular with Armstrongists, such as Dr. Hoeh.
Wiccans have a good time this time of year. (There are even Wiccan Catholics, if you want to mix and match!)
For more fun, join a Star Trek group: They aren’t really a religion, but the Trekkies go out and do good works in the communities — some Klingons provide food and clothes for the needy — and the kicker is, never has there ever been report of a group of Trekkies having one bit of trouble with the Law. They just do good, looking for a positive future. Maybe the Kingdom of God is the Federation.
Good luck.
Just listened to the part of the sermon where Ron is talking about the “to the hour” return of Jesus Christ. Ron tries very hard to mock and discredit Mike but does a very poor job of it.
He fails to explain how Mike’s post is incorrect and becomes very frustrated with himself. He then goes on to say “I don’t even want to-when something is so messed up like that why even try to explain it, it’s better just to tell the truth”.
And there you have it. When confronted with the truth there is no rebuttal, only cowardice.
Yeah, Ron, it’s better just to tell the truth. Tell the truth about how you are a con-man, insane, liar, false prophet, thoroughly confused, insane, cult-master, thief, tax-evader, insane, scam-artist, death-cursor. Oh, and did I mention insane? This blog is all about the truth about you, and you can’t dispute it no matter how you try. Give it up, Ron. You have absolutely no dignity to keep, but at least let these poor people sitting in your puny audience leave with what dignity they have left. You are not a minister of any kind. You are not even a believer in what you, yourself preach. You’re just a wrung out rag of a man who thinks he can keep on conning the “masses”. Ha! What masses? If you don’t step down and admit who you really are – just a man who found a way to get rich – I’m afraid you’re going to get stepped ON.
Fencesitter: you said
1. “As time moves along, I feel like I’m slowly backsliding out of PKG. I’m not as on fire for learning as much as I was in the beginning.” That troubled feeling in the back of your mind that is dousing your fire for learning from Ron? That is called WISDOM, and it is what God gave you to save you from false prophets.
2. “There’s just too many unanswered questions.” Exactly! With false prophets there ALWAYS are. But there isn’t with JESUS (John 3:16).
3. “Even though I have these feelings, I HAVE TO GO to services and listen to sermons. I HAVE TO OBSERVE the holy days, because these things are the RIGHT thing to do according to God.” Nope. These things are the things to do that RONALD WEINLAND wants you to do. Here is what is right to do if you are a Christian …John 3:16.
4. “Part of me is beginning to see that I may have jumped to conclusions in my desire to know the truth…the other half wants to hold on to it.” The part of you that has jumped to conclusions AND the part that want to hold on are both GOOD parts. You have a desire to know the truth.
WELL, you are certainly learning the TRUTH now, aren’t you? If you desire to know the TRUTH, then you must be prepared to act on it. So what is TRUE? Well, I am merely an ordinary man (with an extraordinary wife!), but it was TRUTH that got me kicked out of my house by my parents as a teen for questioning Herbert W. Armstrong. What I had hear about him that got me thrown out was eventually shown to be true. I suffered GREATLY during that time because of the TRUTH.But it wan’t the TRUTH that hurt me, it was/were those who didn’t want to believe the truth that threw me out into a seemingly cold, terrifying world with no money and no support. Don’t let your confusion and fear allow you to think that the TRUTH is worse than believing Ron. Vomiting is a reflex that rids you of toxins/toxic levels of things. You are now in the process of preparing to emotionally vomit out the spiritual poison that Ron has been injecting into your mind with his slimy tentacles and talons.
It is TOTALLY NORMAL to be scared by this as it begins, Mike (DDTFA), Kirrily, Chacha, myself and MANY others did this either recently or a long time ago. So you are NT alone, stupid, bad, a coward, or “against” God. You are actually FOR God and showing Him you really ARE seeking him by rejecting a MAN’S teaching for REAL TRUTH…
…that Ronald Weinland is a FALSE PROPHET and he has LIED to you repeatedly to get your money by using the Bible to manipulate you.
Oh and by the way FenceSitter…ask yourself if an End Time Witness is prophesied to die in Jerusalem in late May needs 24 bank accounts and 11 credit cards, like Ron has?
“24 bank accounts and 11 credit cards”—This concerned me as well
Kirrily congrats on the new baby. My family and I really desired to add another baby to our household. We have one child now, but I put off having another baby due to prophesies that have not come to past. I desired to have all of my children by my present age. However, I’m still at an age where I can still have one.
As for joining any other churches, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. To be honest with you all, I’m surprised I haven’t received a letter or phone call stating that I have been disfellowshipped. Bills increased, but my income decreased sooooo I haven’t paid tithes in a while.
I haven’t paid tithes in a while.
And how could you? Have you inherited land in Israel? Do you grow produce there? Is there a temple you can take it to during the Feast of Tabernacles?
There is no tithing on wages. None. Nada. Zip. Nowhere in the Bible will find anything about tithing on wages. Anise, cummin and mint are definitely to be tithed on. Have you neglected to set aside the tenth leaf of every basil plant so you can use it for seasoning for the Feast? Shame on you! And those fruit trees (in only the land of Israel, of course), you know that it isn’t ten percent, don’t you? One year out of the total life of the tree do you give all the produce. Only one. After that, it’s all yours. Period.
Now consider this: You are also to keep the Land Sabbath every seven years. This has never worked for members of Armstrongism: They either go into debt, go bankrupt and / or lose the farm. It doesn’t work. They never get double the product the sixth year to hold them over. Never. Does not work. Without that sixth year bonus, keeping the Land Sabbath can’t be done. It is impossible. And it just doesn’t work today. Ask RW about that! Demand an answer! Tell him it doesn’t work! Ask him why! Don’t give him a free pass.
Well, Armstrong is totally silly at its core. Without tithing on wages at all and the fact that there is no second and third tithe, you really have to fund the Feast yourself, because originally, tithing was used to keep the Feast. The first and only tithe. No tithe, no Feast. Unless you want an extra special blessing from God in reward for your faith. Your faith might be misplaced. After all, Land Sabbaths do NOT work.
Prophecy based on British Israelism always fails because the United States and British Commonwealth are not lost tribes of Israel, and, hey folks! That is the KEY to prophecy. Unfortunately, it doesn’t unlock anything and you won’t find the lock because it doesn’t exist.
Then you need to ask, just where PKG came from? Was it some long line of church eras? Really? Church eras don’t exist. The Waldensians never kept the Sabbath or the Feast. They considered themselves good Roman Catholics. Now they are Protestants. More lies. There’s no legitimacy.
Well, you know, it’s entropy: You can only reduce entropy locally by stealing energy from somewhere else. In RW’s case, he’s reduced his credibility entropy by stealing it from the future by using false prophecies. Unfortunately, like Social Security, when you do that sort of theft, you find that you just don’t have any more of that energy you stole in advance and you are SoL.
Fencesitter, do you see anywhere in the Bible where Jesus asked people to pay him money? No. He asked people to help the poor, visit the sick, pray for their enemies, visit the prisoners. He said that if anyone do that, they are doing it for as if they’re helping him or visiting him. Jesus, Himself, went against the laws of Moses by “breaking” the sabbath day. He called the Pharisees (the rule makers) that they themselves were hypocrites and snakes and vipers. They continued to uphold the law of Moses even when Jesus proclaimed the Laws of LOVE. Do you see any love in Ron Weinland? I don’t. I see anger, hatred, mocking, greed, jealousy, and fear-mongering. RW even tells his people not to bother praying for those outside of his little cult. Did Jesus ever tell us to do that? I hope you keep visiting here. Hugs.
I have been thinking a lot recently about what is truth and when I asked this question of someone I trusted they said “Jesus is the truth”! I know we are so familiar with John 14:6 that it is easy to forget it.
I also read the other day about how to study the bible. By exegesis – which is starting with God’s Word, prayng for clarity then studying it more and applying it to you life where you can.
or by Eisegesis – where you start with an idea or conviction and find a scripture to prove it. from “Forgotten God” by Francis Chan.
This made a lot of sense to me and I could see that we have underestimated how the Holy Spirit works in us and helps us understand God’s word.
I have been helped by reading the Bible first then
WOW! This is truly amazing! FenceSitter has managed to start detoxing herself, and Rambo is out of the PKG and questioning his beliefs.
Rambo/FenceSitter: What an amazing thing you have doen. Religious poison runs deep, and yet you are fighting it and winning with amazing bravery. It must feel like you are damning your soul to even think about what you are doing let alone actually do it!! But you are NOT damning your soul. You are following the Biblical admonition to test all things and hold fast to what is GOOD. It is GOOD to seek God. It is GOOD to ask questions. People asked Jesus questions all day and night. His answers were uplifting and positive, even when he corrected bad behaviour and faulty thinking. To be admonished by Jesus was to be uplifted and encouraged to do good, not scared/threatened like Ronald Weinland does.
You have chosen freedom, love, light, and hope over fear of the future, fear of God’ wrath, fear of leaving, fear of not doing what Ronald Weinland wants, fear of…etc, etc. Your example is a great inspiration, and even though I am an atheist, I hope to act as morally and as bravely as you have in my life. And as far as acting righteously, your example of bravery and seeking God is a much more POWERFUL ministry to those of us who don’t believe than hiding from Satan in a cult run by an ex-WWCG minister.
If there is a God, he MUST be cheering you on right now…
Oops! had computer problems. I just want to end by saying it is wonderful to now feel free I can read any book I care to without feeling guilty and filter what I read through God’s word. There are many inspiring books out there!
Seriously, I am almost tempted to reveal my identity, and invite everyone to our place to have a GIANT party in honor of Kirrily, Corey Alexander, Kirrily’s husband, Chacha and her husband, FenceSitter, Rambo, and especially Mike (DDTFA) for being such amazing examples of goodness and wisdom. I am an atheist and like to think I am such a smarty-pants, but these people have set a pretty high bravery/morality bar…I really should have a LOT more respect for theists!!
Well, the end of the world happens on Memorial Day weekend here in the ‘States.
Daughter of a Follower: It is WISE to read with an open mind. Because then you truly have free will to choose good/bad, wise/unwise, etc. Acting righteously with your freedom is proof positive that you are following God. You CANNOT act righteously if there is no possibility to NOT act righteously. It would be stupid to reject Ron because you don’t like his haircut. You are WISE to reject Ron’s teachings because they are provably false.
Wisdom and righteousness are INSEPARABLE, and to leave Ron is not to leave God. If God is everywhere, how can you “leave” Him? You can’t leave God. But you sure as hell CAN leave Ronald Weinland, a man who has lied to the US government, proclaimed HIMSELF holy, made false prophecies, promised to repent and HASN’T, “changed times and laws” (a mark of an Anti-Christ), and issued a DEATH CURSE on everyone here at this site…which didn’t occur.
RONALD WEINLAND IS A FALSE PROPHET…and the Bible says false prophets AND THEIR FOLLOWERS are NOT destined for the Kingdom…
AND..let me say it again…
…if one of you comes up conclusive proof about God that shows my atheism is completely wrong…I will cut the grass on your front lawn with an old fashioned push mower wearing my wife’s wedding ao dai (Vietnames traditional dress)…AND my wife will cook your family a seven course Vietnamese feast!!
Imagine a giant, hairy white man wearing this…

I don’t understand why people attach their belief to ANY man, much less Ronald the false Weinland.
I see this again, and again.
The Sabbath, for example, if you have proven that, then fine, why are you attaching this belief to Weinland?
It seems that many who depart, seem to dis-believe the bible altogether after they depart.
I don’t understand this reasoning.
The bible prophesied that MANY false prophets would come and deceive MANY.
You (whoever) got burned, it’s unfortunate, but there is an out, you flee from a false prophet.
If they are things that you have proven then why dis-believe them all of a sudden? What should be done is you (whoever got snared by RW) is to re-examine what you have believed, and proceed from there.
Most toss the bible, and will never believe it again, even if a fire breathing pair of men appeared on the world stage.
Sunday worship can be proven in the Bible.
Sabbath can be proven by the Bible.
*sigh*
Maybe we just get tired of the Bibles inconsistency and contradictions.
Maybe this weariness after half a lifetime of searching has proven to much.
God isn’t clear, and a ‘personal relationship’ with someone invisible and interpreting the ‘word’ for ones self, seems crazy to me – what unity is in that?
I think I am more intelligent than spitting the dummy because I believed in a false prophet, to ‘throw the baby out with the bathwater’.
When ‘god’ makes it clear who he/she/it is – and what he/she/it wants from me – then I will listen. If the best the Almighty can do is have a book written over hundreds of years, by many people, having it messed around with by the Catholics and goodness knows who else, this very book causing hatred and war amongst man, each believing they are fighting on ‘Gods side’ etc etc – well, that’s a ‘God’ I can do without.
Ron is no one special – you can nearly fall over false prophets on the street these days. As for the ‘fooling many’ part – Well I guess it could be argued that the ‘prophet’ Jesus was quite false too.
Just saying.
Jesus was not the Jewish messiah. He was NOT supposed to come a Second Time. If he is not the Jewish Messiah, then he is no messiah at all since Christianity is a type of Judaism that jews reject. He did not come to establish a new religion but claimed to be the Jewish Messiah, beholden to the Law and to Yahweh, his “father”.
It is FACTUAL to say Jesus is not the Messiah…the main reason why I don’t believe Christianity.
Your argument is solid, Kirrily.
If a pair of fire-breathers come on the scene who can also turn water into blood, AND if they pass the James Randi challenge, THEN I might think they’re the two witnesses.
And congrats on your first “week” as a mother!
All the crying, and staying awake, and the pooping…what a time!! LOL! You have joined the “the” club!
Mike (DDTFA): I totally agree with you! Fire breathing Witnesses in Jerusalem would have me doing the most vigorous Bible Study ever!! I wouldn’t even be scared. Since it would be CONCLUSIVE PROOF of the existence of God, I would feel extemely happy that there was now the possibility that wrongs would be righted, and justice brought to the world…unless the stories about yahweh are true, then he is just going to keep on slaughtering the innocent, the sick, and the poor, and then pardoning the killers because they roasted an ox in his name…
Oh Avalo, I bet you would look HOT in that dress!!!
I would really love to meet you all one day. Maybe a big party on Canada Day?
It would be a blast. I’ll bring a nice single malt and we’ll have a toast to freedom.
and learning more and more everyday.
Big hugs to you Kirrily and your beautiful baby!
I am also so sad about those that I know have put off having children because “the end is near”. Such a shame. Just like all those I knew in WCG that never married because they were waiting for the right one to be “called”. ugh.
But anyway…SO glad you got to experience your greatest joy.
XO
How many plauges have come down again? How much water is now blood? How many trumpets have sounded? How many people have been roasted by fire-breath attacks by witness’s? How many WWCG splinter cell ministers have died exactly? How many rain clouds have been “shut” by the witness’s? How much of the USA has ceased to exist as an independent nation? Did the USA have a predident after 2008? How many people have been harmed as they intended to harm the witness’s? Do more than several thousand people out of 7 billion know of Ron?
The answers are obvious and a “leaking” has begun in PKG allowing some brave souls to escape Rons bonds into “FREEDOM” due to those people asking themselves the same question. I’ve never saved anyone from anything so hidious as religious slavery, but Mike has. One blog, years of action and someone if freed. The math is pretty simiple here, it warms the heart
.
Chacha: Thank you for the compliment…but believe me, the compliment “hot” and ME are mutually exclusive! I am not what you would describe as handsome, although I am not ugly. Most of us Germans are rather “meaty” looking people, and our quest for order and perfection doesn’t include our looks!! Not like my wife and the Vietnamese. There are some almost supernaturally beautiful women in Vietnam, and my wife is one of them. She has a voice like velvet, skin like silk, thick/lustrous hair, no body fat yet curves, a hilarious personality, and the list goes on. When she wore that ao dai she was a vision of flawless beauty.
There certain people int he world who are snugglers. They are very affectionate and love to cuddle up during a movie, or a plane ride, etc. I am not particularly cuddly, but my wife is the Queen of Cuddlers. When she and my daughters watch a movie they all pile into one big lump under a cozy blanket. Even better, if I am watching the news or a movie, they all descend on me in a big ‘cuddle-bomb’, and all of a sudden I have three women laughing and gossiping on top of me while I am trying to learn about what is going on in the world. I love them to death, but they drive me nuts with the non-stop talking and questions!! LOL!
Avalo: That is so awesome. Your wife and kids sound so wonderful. Since all my kids are grown and gone, I have one hairy hubby, a hairy dog(an Aussie) and a cat to cuddle-bomb with. Not too shabby.
I had a very “meaty-looking” great grandmother from Germany. She was a funny and very interesting person. There are many ways to be beautiful.
I indeed have a wonderful family. A house full of women…so much hair, so many feelings!
I really love watching my girls’ personalities develop and reveal themselves. The young one is super gregarious, and lets you know exactly what is on her mind. The older one is painfully shy, and doesn’t let on to anything. But underneath that shy surface is a very enthusiastic, funny girl. And she seems to open up to me more than anyone. Her favorite place in the world is Staples, the office and home business supply store. When we go there she walks around positively glowing as she looks at all the pens and paper and USB keys, and such. She is still quiet, but it is like she is a devout Catholic entering the Sistine Chapel for the first time!!
I bought her an oversized desk calendar/organiser one time on a whim, and she started crying she was so happy!
That is so cute! Maybe she is going to be an accountant or finance minister! A rising star!
My oldest granddaughter loves school and does her homework. She does not spend hours on the phone texting…she makes sure all of her work is done. Even after missing a month of school due to illness, she was still on the honor role. If her friends call and ask what she is doing after school she will tell them, “My homework…same thing YOU should be doing!” My daughter gets a kick out of her telling her friends to study more and stop being such slackers.
She still has fun and goofs around. She makes time for it. She is a gymnast and a dancer…she is amazing. I admire her. She is quite a young lady.
I think there is hope in the next generation!
