Ronald Weinland Arraigned in Federal Court, Enters Plea

False Prophet Ronald Weinland has been arraigned in federal court before Magistrate Judge Candace J. Smith. A second attorney has been assigned to Ron’s case, Jon Christopher Coffman of the same law firm as his other attorney.

As expected, the Spokesman Witness entered a plea of “Not Guilty to the Indictment”.  At present, he is free on $20,000 unsecured bond and is required to surrender his passport to the US Probation Office among other conditions.  One additional condition is that his travel is restricted unless approved by the US Probation Office one month in advance.  Wonder if he got approval for the ministerial conference in Florida in a few weeks.

The prophetic timeline set by the court for the trial:

  • Government to meet with defense within 10 days (by December 2)  and provide discoverable evidence to the defense.
  • Defense motions (other than for discovery )to be filed within 30 days (by December 22)
  • Evidentiary Hearing on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10 AM {Note: following later court action, this hearing was delayed until Feb 17, 2012}
  • Thursday, January 12 is the deadline for motions seeking discovery
  • Friday, January 13 is the deadline to file motion for re-arraignment should the final end-time Elijah decide to plead guilty to a negotiated plea agreement
  • Pretrial Conference on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 3:30 PM.  The parties are expected to have witness lists and exhibits for trial prepared at this time. {Note: following later court action, the pretrial conference is delayed until March 12, 2012}
  • Jury Trial set for Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 10 AM.  {Note: following later court action, the trial is delayed until March 20, 2012}

The Pretrial Conference and the Jury Trial are to be presided over by Judge Danny C. Reeves.  Could this be the beginning of the 5 months of torment foretold in the book of Revelation?  Weinland has not yet posted to his blog about the indictment as promised in his last sermon.

There you go, in addition to being a false prophet, you can add liar to the list.

  • martin says:

Somebody should email him and ask him when is he going to exercise his Rev 11:5 responsibilities, and see what kind of reply he gives.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Liar was added on Pentecost of 2008 when he started his sermon despite his promise that he would stop if nothing happened.

And next month it will be 3 years since he exercised his Rev 11:5 responsibilities in calling for our speedy deaths from the inside.

  • martin says:

I volunteer to be a silent witness at his trial.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

“Not guilty” of not reporting his Swiss bank account? Wow! Let’s see how he explains this one after we all here have seen the indictment…

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Ronald Weinland said in his Nov.8th post: “In two short months, the world will be thrust into the seventh and final phase of this end-time. This period will be marked by well over fifty percent of all Bible prophecy being fulfilled.”

It will be interesting to see how the trial fits in with “Bible prophecy” and “God’s plan”.

  • jack635 says:

he is free on $20,000 bond and is required to surrender his passport

So he is “out on bail”. If he does not show up in court will his bail bondsman hunt him down? Will ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ complete with pepper spray and cameras track him down, cuff him, and throw his rotten ass in jail?

Seriously though, how is he going to travel to Jerusalem if he does not have a passport, or winds up in jail?

My common sense tells me anyone who has to surrender their passport is charged with a serious crime and they are going to jail. Judges hate it when a guilty person pleads not guilty. The courts are clogged and bogged down. When a “not guilty” person is found guilty they usually get a little more than if they had just plead guilty and gotten it over with.

Ron is going to jail and the jails are very crowded. The self appointed prophet, who is really just an atheistic con artist, is going to have to eat in a crowded cafeteria with every kind of criminal imagineable. That’s the sweet smell of justice, Ron.

  • jack635 says:

Meredith, Aames and Flurry must be laughing on the sets of their television shows. Silly Ronald Weinland, cursing everyone with death, putting himself above everyone, only to end up in jail.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

I’m not sure how bond works. Does this mean he (or someone) had to literally give 20k to the court to hold?

  • martin says:

Due to Ronald’s complete incompetence as a prophet, his passport has been revoked, this is so he get more time for re-training….of course this will delay the Great Tribulation another 3 1/2 years.

BUT IT WAS PART OF THE MASTER PLAN…..because the Tribulation is in fact 7 years.

……Possibly more if his jail time is longer……

Actually the Tribulation is 5*5 years….25 years… (complex math is required to understand this).

  • Jocko says:

I wonder if Ron packed an extra suitcase before leaving home for his arraignment yesterday.

  • Jocko says:

Kirily, When a defendant is freed on bond usually a bail bondsman puts up the actual cash to secure the defendant’s release for a fee. Before placing the bond the bondsman may require collateral such as the deed to a mansion on a golf course, some prophetess diamonds, tribulation gold bullion, Swiss bank account info, etc.

  • J says:

But but but, how can he die in the streets of Jerusalem if he can’t leave the country? Tsk tsk tsk.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

He can die in “spiritual” Jerusalem, which God…I mean RON…could reveal to be:

    1. Cell 210
    2. His soul
    3. White Castle
    4. Madison Square Gardens
    5. Gary, Indiana
    6. Onstage at the Iridium jazz club in New York
    7. swimming in Ha Long Bay, in Viet Nam
    8. swimming onstage at the Iridium jazz club in New York.
    9. Mars

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I believe that $20,000 bond means that someone had to give the court that amount of money which is refunded (or applied to fines) if he shows up for trial. If Ron’ doesn’t have $20K, a bail bondsman would for a fee put up the money and if Ron skips would go after him.

“But but but, how can he die in the streets of Jerusalem if he can’t leave the country? ”
Ron would just bring out his “easy” button — anything that fails gets spiritualized 😀
    it's easy....

  • Atrocious says:

Of course Ron hasn’t posted anything on his blog about the indictment as he promised because he’s a liar and never keeps his promises. This man is soooo sick and I hope the judge and ultimately the jury will see how sick this man is and take him out of civilization and put him where he can experience a little of what he has inflicted on his followers – fear, poverty and judgement.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

I love how Ron has tried to make us look like we are spiritually dead and miserable and full of hate.

Me personally, I am feeling rather merry and upbeat about my non-theism and my life, and I’ll bet others here are feeling very happy about believing in a living, salvific Christ. So between the pagans, and the blasphemers, and the TRUE Christians (Helen and Randy, who fight non-violently for what they believe is right), we are all pretty happy people.

    Ronald Weinland = prophecy/truth FAIL…

  • jack635 says:

Ron could spin his indictment into he will be persecuted before kings and rulers. I’m sure his followers would swallow that. Who knows what Ron will have to swallow in jail. I hear the food is pretty bad. And I’m sure there is no prime rib in jail. Lots of pork though.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Jack365 said: ‘Who knows what Ron will have to swallow in jail…”

I’ll bet a lot of what he swallows won’t have “come” from the prison kitchen…

  • martin says:

Ronald will of course be under the delusion that he is being persecuted by the U.S..

But if he claims that, he shoots himself in the foot, because if that is true, then he is REQUIRED by explicit command to torch them. (his persecutors)

Thus, in his mind, he needs to re-work it as God putting him into a trial to humble him.

It’s double think. It’s also double plus good.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

It new think Ron good, he of God, me likey not think food good…

  • Helen Terlecki Wright says:

We are all in good spirits tonight. I would say we are one big happy family and yes happy people Avalo. Yes indeed!!

  • Helen Terlecki Wright says:

Hey guys, Think about this. If Ron is in jail then the End-Time won’t happen.. Ron’s God will delay the timing. We may all be safe for another year or so.. Golly Gee, how can we be so lucky.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Since everything Ron says fails miserably, if you want to live a long time then you should mock him mercilessly so that his death curse applies. Then you’ll live to be 100. 😀

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

“Of course Ron hasn’t posted anything on his blog about the indictment as he promised because he’s a liar and never keeps his promises. ”

Actually he has the rest of the week to post it. After all, he’s going to have to think extra hard what to say about the charge that he took church funds for personal use.

  • J says:

How appropriate (and twisted) that a man who misappropriate funds uses those exact funds to pay for the best attorney money can buy in an attempt to prove his innocence. What a backwards world we live in.

  • Jocko says:

If Ron ends up being convicted perhaps his “cellie” will be actor Wesley Snipes who’s now doing a three year hitch for guess what? Federal income tax evasion. But then again it could be Bubba.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Besides which, the government would be OK with his taking church funds so long as he had paid the income taxes on them.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

I love how Ron/”God” treats his faithful followers like crap, but gives the atheists like me a dream house, hot Asian wife, great kids, a high income job, a safe country to live in, and a European sports car, and forgiveness for my “ignorance”.

    Pretty sweet Tribulation so far…

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Don’t leave out all the opportunities for mocking.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Yes, and the opportunities for mocking both yahweh and Ron. More so yahweh, as it is a fictional abomination. So I am blessed by the god I blaspheme while he tries and tests his sheeple and their End Time Witness. VERY sweet deal. I think I have learned the secret of life. Blaspheme yahweh and you will live your dreams…

  • Matt says:

Yahbut, SPIRITUALLY you are miserable. And all those followers that have been milked dry so that Ron can live the easy life, they may be poor, bullied, endlessly lied to and generally treated like peons even though they are the ones making the sacrifices, they are SPIRITUALLY way better off. So it all works out.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

    I’m spiritually miserable? Great!

If that is what I am, there is nowhere to go but UP! If spiritual misery means having a great life, then I am destined for a mansion, billions of dollars, my wife growing H cups, and my kids winning Pulitzer/Nobel Prizes. Thank you Yahweh for all the misery. I really do appreciate it. Your judgment against me is just and good!!

  • Atrocious says:

Avalo, you don’t want your wife growing H cups because if she did, she would be absolutely miserable! Let her have a D cup for her size…that’s plenty big enough, donchathink?

Ron’s followers are the only ones going through the tribulation, and it’s of HIS own making. And, they’re the only miserable group. Sheesh…I wonder how their Thanksgiving is going.

  • Christian says:

This will be the trial to end all trials ( even bigger than the OJ trial). Ron is persecuted by a nation state that no longer exists because Europe has conquered the U.S. Ron’s persecutors are of the Anti-Christ and he shall now call upon his End – Time Witness powers to free himself. For if God is with him, who can be against him? Has someone told CNN yet? Let’s make our airline reservations and make up T-shirts with “Set Ron Free” ….

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Wait a minute…Christian is right! Ron can’t have a court trial because the USA doesn’t exist anymore because President Obama didn’t become president in 2009 and all the grass was burnt up according to Ron’s book “2008-God’s Final Witness”.

Th Asian Hordes are currently at school, my wife is making hot garlic shrimp rolls for lunch, and I just finished a very profitable business deal over the phone. Damn! Once again I forgot to be miserable like Ronald Weinland said I was…d’oh!

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

…I think I will go for a swim in my Baal-shaped swimming pool and have a bath in the blood of my enemies afterward…

  • martin says:

It is probable that Ronald has been advised by his lawyer to not talk about the case on his blog. He probably will make an oblique reference to issue in this weekend’s sermon, but outside of that, I doubt he will go into any depth on his blog about it.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

Happy Thanksgiving to my USA friends!

  • Atrocious says:

Happy Halloween to you, Kirrily. 🙂

  • Helen Terlecki Wright says:

Thanks Kirrily.. Enjoyed all the food today and football games.. Love those football games. Another holiday Sunday, FOOTBALL ALL DAY!!

  • Atrocious says:

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving day with family. Sooooo much delicious food and lots of yakking, watched the Packers vs. the Lions, ate pie….! Thanks Kirrily. Give your wee one waiting to be born a hug from all of us.

  • JB says:

Hope all our American firends here had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is a time to eat to much, spend time with family and friends, watch the Packers win and reflect on our blessings. I am grateful for Mike and this blog and that con artist Ron will pay for some of his con. The next best thing would be for PKG to fall apart and all the followers see their faith with fresh eyes.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I am thankful that I was able to recognize Herbert Armstrong as a false prophet while coming of age, I am thankful that my family, while still trapped in Armstrongism, is not following a false prophet like Weinland or one of his ilk.

I’m hopeful that Weinland will get all that’s coming to him. And that his deluded followers will wake up and smell the garbage.

  • Jocko says:

There’s an old saying I first heard back way in the early 1970’s. An old friend and I were discussing a despicable human being from the neighborhood when my friend turned to me and said, “Don’t worry, Every dog has it’s day”. My old friend has long since passed away but his words of wisdom still ring true to this very day.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Every dog has his day, but llamas do their thing all weekend…

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Martin said: “I volunteer to be a silent witness at his trial.”

Would you like to attend his trial and be a correspondent on this blog?

Martin said: “It is probable that Ronald has been advised by his lawyer to not talk about the case on his blog. He probably will make an oblique reference to issue in this weekend’s sermon, but outside of that, I doubt he will go into any depth on his blog about it.”

    Wondering about that myself.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

I volunteer to stay at home and do nothing…

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Avalo, I’d be surprised & disappointed if you didn’t at least leave a few snarky comments 😀

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Well, I promise I will “snark” as intelligently and succinctly as I can.

But I think I have said pretty much all I need to say. I guess I am kind of snarked out. My hate for Christianity and love of Ron’s ability to fleece his sheeple has been fully exegesized on my part. Plus, it is American Thanksgiving time, and I am feeling VERY appreciative of all the amazing things the US has “given” to me. I am no fan of American foreign policy, but that is no reason to not sit down and be thankful. Geniuses like Ornette Coleman, Patton Oswalt, and Robert Smigel, Diet Pepsi, the Ford Mustang, Bruce Lee, Michael Jordan, Billie Holiday, Jon Stewart, Ed Harris, Jackson Pollock, Robert Rauschenberg, the list is endless. I am really thankful and deeply grateful that I am alive at this point in time to reap the benefits of America’s greatness. Trust me, I am a VERY proud Canadian, and I love my big sister to the South too.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

And I love travelling through the States as well. So many great people, so many different expressions of America from city to city, state to state. Favourites include Brooklyn, Chicago, New Orleans, and Dallas. New Orleans is still my absolute favourite. The folks down there are such high-spirited, creative people. You can’t be in that city for more than 10 minutes before you have five new friends and a couple bottles of beer in you already!

  • Helen Terlecki Wright says:

Number one thing I am grateful, for, is my family. Our 2 sons and my husband. Thanksgiving is when the 4 of us get together. It is our favorite day of the year. We yap, yell at the football game, if our team is losing or winning. Always a cheer of some sort. And eat like pigs. I am also thankful for the friends on here and wish you all nothing but happiness. I am so thankful that either most or all came out of something that seperated families, but yet we are the ones who are happy.
I know some certain people right now are NOT having such a great thanksgiving if you know the ones I mean!

That is interesting to hear Avalo and I think Kirrily mentioned about great USA.. I guess alot of us take USA for granted who live here and don’t think of it as a solid country anymore. Vert weak is what I hear. Politics movement is killing us.
Is it one of those things where people want to move to Canda now or even further out yet. Sometimes. It is more like people here think it is greener on the other side but it is not once you get there. Then you want to go back home. Every country I am sure has their own problems.
Don’t get me wrong, we have alot to offer here with such beauty, great Cities, actually San Fran use to be my favorite place to visit every year. New Orleans, we were in Katrina disaster. Our favorite thing in our family, was go in the mountains and get away for 10 days.. Nothing holds a candle to that.. 1970’s, 80’s and 90;, would I ever love to live through those years again. WE had a time of our lives…. Wonderful memories… alot of good people..
I wish all of you well..

Breaking news: Fred Meijer died…and the only reason why I’m posting this is because I was shocked to see how much he looks like Herbert Armstrong.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Maybe Ron will divert attention from his arraignment tomorrow by banging on the 5th thunder.

  • Jocko says:

I e-mailed Ron yesterday to wish him a happy thanksgiving, merry Christmas and “prophetable” new year.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Uh-oh! Ron will be breaking one of the Commandments tomorrow by being arraigned on the Sabbath!! If he REALLY was a Witness he would burn up anyone trying to get him to go to court, as he is supposed to (a) rest on the Sabbath and (b) destroy all who oppose him.

Ron is going to break the Sabbath commandment tomorrow!

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Huh? Ronnie was arraigned on Tuesday. The attention diverting will be on the sabbath.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Oops! I read your earlier post wrong. I though it said that he would diverting attention from “arraignment tomorrow” as opposed to diverting attention from his arraignment, “tomorrow”.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

He also hasn’t posted an explanation of his indictment. So tomorrow’s “sermon” should be interesting.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron was probably warned by his attorneys that anything he had to say on his blog about the case could and would be used against him in court.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Another example of his lack of spiritual power. It makes no difference what he says. He is God’s True Witness, and can destroy his enemies. Or else he can call upon Christ’s divine intervention. Daniel was to be executed for not proclaiming or bowing to another God. Ron merely faces prison time. RON IS A COMPLETE FAKE. Daniel was merely a prophet. Ronald Weinland is THE End Time Witness that speaks on God’ s behalf. He and his God are both fake…

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Ron posted his response to the indictment on his website.

Notice how he DOESN’T say “I’m innocent”. He says that the indictment is hard to understand, and blah blah blah. Not a single “I am not a criminal”, but rather “we will keep on being true to God” and all that sort of thing. If he pleaded not guilty then he should say so on his site.

Makes me think he may not be as innocent as he would like us to believe.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

He also says: “This investigation that covers several years has been difficult to understand.”

Hmmm…NOT telling the IRS about a Swiss bank account and the interest earned…yeah, that’s rocket science…

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Weinland has posted a response on his blog, copied in this other posting to allow your commenting.
