Weinland’s Sixth Thunder Arrives

False Prophet Ronald Weinland defined the 7 thunders of Revelation 10 in his book “2008 — God’s Final Witness”. In the book on page 109, he states:

The Sixth Thunder is the growing revelation of God’s
end-time witnesses. That revelation is that I am the
spokesman of God’s two end-time prophets—the
spokesman of His two end-time witnesses.

This thunder will grow louder as the events described in the
previous thunders continue to unfold with ever increasing
intensity, proving the validity of what has been written and that
what I am saying is true. Radio and television interviews will
become more the norm as curiosity, news, controversy, and fear
increase in proportion to the growing intensity of these thunders.

After the federal indictment issued on Thursday, reporters are seeking him out for interviews. The Kentucky Enquirer is the Northern Kentucky edition of Cincinnati’s largest daily paper, the Cincinnati Enquirer. An article appears in today’s edition which covers more details about Weinland. The articles which appeared from various news articles on Thursday were mostly repackaging of the press release from the US Attorney.  I interviewed with the reporter for this article, which appears to be drawn heavily from material on my blog.

So the reporter felt material on my blog was accurate enough to put in a mainstream news publication. Actually, the source material was available for him to review: court filings and sermon statements. So he really didn’t have to take my word for it.

Now that Ron’s moment has arrived, and reporters are seeking him out, why is he not making himself available for interview?  Could Ron be in custody awaiting a bail hearing?  Or did Ron go on the lam?  I think his followers would attempt to hide him out forever if he asked him.

It will be interesting to see if he shows up in Bowling Green this afternoon to give his scheduled sermon.  And if so, what if anything he’ll have to say to his followers about it.  According to a comment left on another post of this blog, not all members were aware of the criminal investigation.  Ron has never stated directly in a sermon that he was under criminal investigation.  So it will be interesting to see what comes over the Internet at 2:30 PM.  Will Ron show?  Will he mention the indictment?  If so, how will he spin it?  Probably he will spiritualize it, Satan is attacking.

  • randy terlecki says:

everybody picking on poor ron because he’s always right. lol

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron will point to the 1979 Worldwide Church of God receivership crisis as a parallel. One big difference though: Herbie was never under criminal indictment.

  • Atrocious says:

I don’t remember reading in the Bible about Stephen, Paul, Joseph, etc. being in prison FOR TAX EVASION. There is absolutely NO comparison.

  • RW may end up not so much a witness as an example.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Satan is attacking the church in any way he can, desperate because he knows his end is coming soon.

  • PS: Can anyone tell me what the 8th Thunder is? Thanks.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Hoping the 8th thunder is the cell door slamming shut on Ron, for a long long time.

  • Satan is attacking the church in any way he can, desperate because he knows his end is coming soon

What a waste of resources for the Devil: The church seems to be doing such a fine job of it on its own.

  • chacha says:

This is getting nuttier by the moment. I’ve gotten e-mails from members…NONE about this. just about “Ron’s new post”. I wonder if they even know? I was tempted to send the indictment story as a reply…but I didn’t. Maybe I will have a change of heart.

  • martin says:

“If so, how will he spin it? Probably he will spiritualize it, Satan is attacking.”

Satan doesn’t persecute somebody who is both committing a crime and sinning up the eyeteeth from embezzling the flocks funds, he posts their photo as the “employee of the month”

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Douglas, you left the following comment on another blog:

It is likely that RW will be required simply to pay back taxes with a percentage dollar penalty — and only after there is either a convinction or (more likely) an IRS judgment against him.

Don’t get your hopes too high.

It may turn out that it will be treated as “an honest mistake” with a minimum of major maladjustment.

The feeding frenzy may be totally unjustified, as appealing as it may seem right now.

Do you have any basis for this statement? I mean from someone who has actually gone through a criminal, not civil, tax case? ’cause the federal prosecutor’s manual calls for some jail time even in a plea agreement. The IRS special agent has to have spent thousands of hours investigating this over the 3+ years since opening the case, and it will cost thousands of dollars to prosecute. They’re not going to walk away with just a “well, OK. Now that we’ve caught you, you can just pay your taxes and a bit of a penalty.” They’re going to want a pound of flesh.

chacha, i post it on face book and e-mailed it to everybody i know!! they say a conman is one step ahead of everything thats why in a sermon form the feast he said something about satan gave him in his sleep he was setting them up 4 the next move. not to toot my own horn but look back i said he had something up his sleeve!

Mat 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

(Mar 13:11) But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

Ronald Weinland should be thankful, he will be given an opportunity to testify before a public court.

(I doubt the civil authority will have any “silent” witnesses like Ron has, unlike Ron, they understand the rules of the court system)

  • martin says:

Can somebody clarify this statement from the news article.

“Weinland faces up to five years in prison if found guilty of five counts of tax evasion. The indictment claims he evaded $357,065 in taxes from 2004 through 2008.”

I thought he evaded taxes on the amount of $357,065, not $357,065 worth of taxes…in other words…he owes $357,065 in back taxes.

Does he owe back taxes on $357,065 worth of income? Or does he owe $357,065 worth in unpaid back taxes?

  • martin says:

ps. the latter is much worse than the former.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

The $357K+ is what the IRS says he owes, not the income on which he did not pay his taxes. The question in my mind is whether that figure includes a bunch of penalties. If that doesn’t include penalties, then the understated income would be north of a million dollars.

how about Laura she the one who likes the rich life style. i think ron is just a nut , she’s a gold digger she bought my mom hunders of dollars in stuff. i mean hunders

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Maybe Laura needs to buy her friends?

  • chacha says:

    Well..
just sent a letter to the elders “over” me.

let the fit hit the shan!

    I just can’t be a liar anymore…like Ron.

    Well..
just sent a letter to the elders “over” me.

let the fit hit the shan!

    I just can’t be a liar anymore…like Ron.

What did you tell them? I think we all have become very fond of you over the past couple o’ months, and I, for one, am very curious on what you said. Of course, posting it here would very likely lead to your identity being revealed in the church.

My thoughts for your best are with you.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Congrats on a significant step, ChaCha. I’d be interested in your email, if you’d consider sharing it with us.

  • chacha says:

Sent it to you Mike. Maybe in a couple days I can “let it all hang out”!

    Thank you all.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron has just opened his audio feed. So he’s not in custody.

  • chacha says:

He feels for you Mike…he says you JUST don’t understand!

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

So far, Ron has not mentioned the indictment. He started out by discussing travel plans all the way into next month, and that he has travel plans for the Days of Unleavened Bread. Now he’s into the sermon, playing up events in Europe.

    Yeah, I guess I don’t understand. I don’t understand what “exactly” means. ;)

  • chacha says:

Oh…here we go…”some of those things that have happened this week…” but he won’t mention that now.

    GOD HAS A PLAN!!!
    SWEET!

Maybe it will be a little more “exact”.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron just alluded to his difficulty, but said he’s not going to get into details today. God works in awesome ways.

We’ll just have to wait a while longer to find out how he’s going to spin it. Oh, darn.

  • chacha says:

There is always a “BUT” in there…..sometimes it could be a “BUTT”

    Go bubba

  • chacha says:

If Ron has to go being indicted on 5 counts of tax evasion so others don’t have to: SO BE IT!

    Amen Ron! *huh?*

  • martin says:

God works in mysterious ways, by having his chief servant for the end time, committing crimes (alleged) and by embezzling church funds. (?????????????????????)

    Yeah….no.

You’re persecuted for doing what is right, you’re getting your just desserts for committing tax fraud and embezzling.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Maybe he should at least tell the sheeple that Fifth Third, PNC, JP Morgan Chase, Wachovia Securities, National City, Charter One, American Express, Huntington and Citibank are the latest additions to his flock that are being “persecuted”…

  • jack635 says:

I was glad to hear a few years ago about the IRS being on Ron’s case. I am now even happier to find out Ron is to be before a federal judge.

Al Capone was finally arrested for income tax evasion. I think he eventually died in prison. Ron will most likely spin this as persecution against God’s Prophet. A prophet with a swiss bank account?

  • martin says:

God’s plan is that the members sell their homes, so that they can show their commitment in these end times, and exercise faith, by getting one of the Two Witnesses out of jail for tax fraud.

I’m checking the Book of Revelations…….checking……….checking……………………………..

  • randy terlecki says:

    go chacha go chacha!!!!!!!

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

Chacha: The window is open and the door ajar…go and be free!!!

  • jack635 says:

Yes Cha Cha, pour a whole bucket on that fan.

  • martin says:

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
Rev 11:5 These two olive trees shall steal from Caesar and fleece the flock.

Oh wait…is verse 5 in your bible?

  • jack635 says:

Hey Martin is that “clothed” in sackcloth or diamonds?

  • martin says:

Armani suits, with diamond cuff links.

  • chacha says:

“Rich and increased with goods” takes on a whole new meaning…doesn’t it?

  • jack635 says:

“Rich and increased with goods” takes on a whole new meaning…doesn’t it?

Yeah, it’s the ultimate pyramid scheme. Unless you forget to pay your taxes.

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

More like rich and increased with OTHER’S goods…

  • chacha says:

    Amen brotha

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

ChaCha has graciously given her permission to share her “resignation letter”, which I have done so in a new post.

  • chacha says:

“BE sober”? No thanks. Think I’ll get “sh*tty” tonight!

  • chacha says:

YAY! We;ll be able to keep ALL of god’s holy days!!!

WoooooHOOOO!! god has great mercy and it is a powerful witless!

Stay in Ron’s TRUTHS! You’ll be SOOOOOOO blessed.

*gag* Get OUT before it is TOO LATE!

  • Avalokiteshvara says:

And of course another great opportunity wasted by God’s special little buddy to breath fire and consume his enemies. The Bible says he can. “Awesome. It truly is”….how everything is so spiritual that the Bible is totally irrelevant to God and his Witness.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

OMG – just woke up here in Oz and catching up! Congrats Chacha! Will read your letter now! :)

  • chacha says:

    Morning!

Feels very strange…but THIS is freedom…not ronnie’s cult bull crap

  • excogger says:

Congratulations Chacha !! My best wishes for the start of a new chapter in your life. I’m waiting for the happy day when three of my family members give Armstrongism the flick as well.

  • Atrocious says:

“Ronnie’s cult bull crap”… has a nice ring to it. Maybe it should be a new name for his “church”. RCBC. Hmmmm, think I’ll use that acronym from now on.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

If I was still a member and found out about the indictment from the web instead of Ronnies own lips, I would be very disillusioned. I really think even the most devout member must have to question this. He is such a coward.

  • Budgie smugglers says:

I’m half way through the ‘ a fast of thanksgiving ‘, Now, I’m no religious scholar, or religious at all, and Ronnie had already told his ‘turkeys’, that ” god is showing his witnesse’s , that things are not going to happen , as we thought ” !, ( a little paraphrasing here )… and the best thing about cheating ( on your partner ) is when we repent , and come back to the family and ask forgivness !

He is actually telling his fock of ‘turkeys’ that its ok to break God’s commandment 9, ( false witness ), 7 ( thou shalt not commit adultery ), and 10 ( covetiousness ), My poinion: he’s totally lost the plot, and is nuttier than a crap full ‘o peanuts ! As nurse Ratched said, ( @ Ronnie , & he should listen ) ” its medication time ” ……………..LoL
