False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in Denver this weekend, speaking before members from Colorado and adjacent states. Augmenting the attendance was a visitor from the Netherlands who needed Mieke Van Lerberghe to transcribe the sermon to Dutch for him. The Dutch visitor lost the end the of the sermon along with the rest of us, as the internet connection went down about 20 minutes before the normal ending time. This happened despite Ralph Dowd traveling all the way from Cincinnati to ask in the opening prayer that God watch over the connection.
Since the sermon MP3 was not posted on the PKG website yesterday evening as is the usual case, and still isn’t posted as I write this post, perhaps Ron experienced a crash on the laptop he uses to broadcast and record the sermon. Ron, since God obviously doesn’t care about your blatherings enough to prevent technical problems, let me suggest that you instead rely on backup equipment to record your nonsense for posterity. In the meantime, PKG members looking for the latest pronouncements from their spiritual idol and those looking for something to put them to sleep can listen to the portion broadcast before the technical failure by downloading this 24 MB file (right-click the link and Save-As) provided as a service from this website. I promise, I haven’t changed a word of Ron’s ranting. I couldn’t make it any worse.
It seems that Ron reads my website, apparently referring during the sermon to a comment I left in my last posting:
As far as PKG having biblical students, forget about it. Weinland has told them they don’t know how to interpret the Bible, and need to listen to his sermons and read his website. The Bible is only to be used in conjunction with Ron’s interpretations.
In this clip from yesterday’s sermon, Ron accuses me of twisting and distorting.
I invite you to decide for yourself if I’m twisting and distorting. We have Ron’s statement earlier in the in the same sermon:
And we have the following clip from his sermon of November 6:
Ron said that people who’ve left PKG are cursed. I don’t think that Kirrily would agree. And I doubt that senior elder Dave Conley’s stepdaughter who left PKG and is moving on with her life would agree.
Update Nov 29: The sermon has been posted on the PKG website. Seems to be a bit shorter than the version I posted. I wonder what the differences are.
False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in Toronto this weekend. The attendance was augmented by several people from the Detroit area, Terry Wrozek included. And further augmented by a family that came in late and needed the hall rearranged so they could sit together. Ron announced the ordination last weekend of an associate elder but refused to give even her first name because of all the websites that post their names and twist and distort about them. If any of the PKG elders and members who read my website have any corrections to the twisting and distorting about them, please leave a comment or send an email to the address on the mailbox picture to the right. The new associate elder may be Mary Kay Giannotta, whose husband John is an elder.
Ron is desperate for evidence of the Great Tribulation, and has been reading the World Nut Daily website. He read an entire article from their website about what a Los Angeles TV station filmed off the coast.
Much is made of the fact that the US government can’t give us a definitive answer what this is. According to Joseph Farrah, this is a missile launched from a Chinese nuclear submarine. Personally, I find the analysis on this chemtrail debunking website much more convincing — what was filmed was a contrail from an airliner which could be interpreted as a missile launch because of the angle, an optical illusion. After studying the issue, the Pentagon agrees. On the other hand, if it really was a Chinese missile then we’ve started the year, month, day, and hour leading up to the 6th trumpet. So we should see movement by the Asiatic hordes in less than 391 days.
Ron continued to recycle his blog post from January about the curse on women. Despite the time elapsed, most men in PKG have not changed their attitude toward women. But then Ron has not allowed women to speak during services, not even to give an opening or closing prayer.
There’s a crack in the British Israelism theory inherited from Armstrong. Ron is not sure of the identity of the tribe of Dan, although he’s sure that the UK & British Commonwealth is the tribe of Ephriam and that the melting pot of the US is the tribe of Manasseh and if that doesn’t quite fit it’s all spiritual anyway. Ron also took a few shots at Herbie’s tame scholar, Herman Hoeh.
Ron failed to make mention last week of the end of another Half-Time that day. I reminded him in my last post of that milestone, and he mentioned it yesterday. So it’s now “Wednesday” in the “7 day week” of Half-Times as PKG marches around Jericho and reads blogs twisting and distorting about them, and we may have to wait til the last “day” for the Great Tribulation.
Last Saturday was a significant day on False Prophet Ronald Weinland’s timeline. The latest one, that is. In his 2009 Last Great Day sermon, Ron reset the “Time, Times, and Half-a-Time” period of Great Tribulation to begin the day after the Feast of Trumpets of 2009, a day on which he was too ill to deliver a sermon. Also, he redefined “Time” as 280 days instead of 360 days. So under that new understanding, last Saturday was the end of “Time and Half-a-Time”. Only two more Times to go before the non-return of Jesus Christ. Amazing that Ron made absolutely no reference to that historical occasion during his historical jump into the future last Saturday.
Sunday was two Roman years since the Seventh Seal opened for the second time in 2008. The world was not “shocked and in horror” on November 14, 2008 as prophesied on page 23 of “2008: God’s Final Witness”. Nor has it been shocked and in horror on any day since then.
On a different topic, a rumor has reached me that Weinland has disfellowshipped his elder Bill Kotaska of Florida. This may relate to his realignment of senior elders, taking some territory from Dave Conley and assigning it to Mitch Williams, and assigning Florida to Dave instead. There is no confirmation of this rumor, if you have any more information on this situation please leave a comment or send me an email to the address on the mailbox in the right-hand column. Perhaps Bill had sin in his life as evidenced by questioning the lack of fulfilled prophecy, as was the case with “Washtay” in this email exchange almost two years ago. If true, this would be the second of Weinland’s elders to be disfellowshipped in the last year. Benjamin Ikwueme was defrocked because he wouldn’t knuckle under to Ron and give up his Facebook page, and later was disfellowshipped. Here’s hoping this rumor is true and that yet more will soon follow.
False Prophet Ronald Weinland spoke from a hotel next to the Providence RI airport. He got a rental car despite the fact that it was within walking distance. God’s most formidable prophet must still be recovering from his appendectomy. Ron announced the death of Steve Blair of Pflugerville, Texas on Monday. Steve was only 52 but had a history of heart problems. Steve was also one of Weinland’s elders, making the third of them to die this year. No matter, because they will all be resurrected in about 18 months at the same time Ron and Laura are resurrected from the streets of Jerusalem.
Ron also elevated Mitch Williams to senior elder. Ron must have gotten over Mitch telling others that he can speak better than Weinland. Having attended Ambassador College didn’t hurt his eligibility. Since Ron said this is the last big one, we can expect the ordinations of yet more senior elders to add to the 14 already in place. Too bad that Ron didn’t go to Providence before the feast or Mitch could have stayed at the 5-star Venetian Resort Hotel and Casio during the last senior elders conference.
Although this was about the future, Ron spent a lot of time in the past, mentioning his party days in college in Hays, Kansas. And attending WCG in Wichita with 600 other local members in 1969-70, and being shocked we he discovered that converted people were not perfect. Today we have Ron as an example of that.
Ron recycled a post from his blog from January, reviewing the curse on women. Between that and his reminiscing, he didn’t talk much about the future. Ron must be short on his irony supplements, reading from 2 Peter 2. For a change he didn’t mention his critics. But this was only part 1 of a series.
During his sermon delivered a couple of weeks ago from the luxurious Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, False Prophet Ronald Weinland ordered his members to take down pictures of other members from public web sites. It seems that some websites out there have been posting pictures from them, lying twisting and distorting. Probably he was referring to the picture I posted of Steve Dalrymple, his senior elder who broke his pitcher in 2007 by putting his career on hold to go to work for Ron and is now looking for a job as Ron doesn’t need him anymore with the 2 & 1/2 year delay (so far) of the Great Tribulation.
The picture of Steve which I posted previously was clipped from a larger photo, shown below, which was taken during the very last organized Feast of Tabernacles before the return of Jesus Christ. The last one that is, except for every one since then. And planning is underway for an organized feast next year with optimism for calamitous events driving double membership to PKG.
I’ve added arrows to point to a few individuals in the photo. From left to right: Johnny Harrell, Steve Dalrymple, and Wilburn whose wife Fredda Maeker is one of Weinland’s elders. By now likely a few of these individuals without arrows over their heads are elders ordained in the ordaining spree Ron started in December of last year.
Just for the record, this photo was not obtained from a public website. Rather, it was emailed to me by the photographer. And if anyone has twisted and distorted about Steve or another member, let’s hear the real story.
Ron said that I was helping PKG by publishing their names, the more I spread it the better. Let’s help even more by publishing yet more pictures. We should have pictures of all the PKG elders so that we know whom to contact for mass baptism in the next 18 months when the Great Tribulation comes and the Sixth Thunder finally sounds. If you are an ex-PKG member or even a current one and have any photos of elders to share, my email address is on the picture of the mailbox on the right-hand column of this blog.
Yesterday, False Prophet Ronald Weinland spoke from Erie Pennsylvania. Apparently he did not have his evangelists in tow, as local elders Skip Henry and Bob Madison got to deliver the prayers. Erie is one of his old stomping grounds as he was assigned there as WCG pastor for the area from approximately 1987 through mid-1994. While in Erie, he dealt with many WCG members who sinned by continuing to smoke. Their continuing to smoke had nothing to do with nicotine being more highly addictive than heroin, but that they really didn’t want to stop that “puny” habit. As someone who foolishly took up the habit in my youth, I can personally attest to the addictive nature of nicotine as I really wanted and fortunately was able to quit after several attempts. (If you haven’t started, don’t. If you have, quit and tough out the withdrawal symptoms because they will end.) While recovering from appendicitis in a Sydney, Australia hospital, Ron declined a private room so he could remain in a room with three others who had suffered ill effects from the nasty habit. Perhaps he was able to get three new converts.
Ron doesn’t know if PKG will be able to have another Feast of Tabernacles, but is planning for one. Trust me, PKG will have another organized Feast of Tabernacles. Despite the loss of members since this year’s feast and his prediction that more will leave, Ron is optimistic for more calamities which will drive more people to join PKG in fear. So he is planning for twice as many in attendance next year. I’m hoping for the reverse, such as each remaining PKG member having their own personal, private organized feast site away from home. 😉
Ron implied that people who remortgage their house to get a lower interest rate should take out a 30-year note. And should “pile it on”, which means they can take out more equity to donate to PKG (Ron). Obviously Ron didn’t do that, as he continues to pay his property tax, not through an escrow account at the mortgage company, but directly to the county or this year through a multi-partner law firm as described in my last post. In the comments area to that post, the consensus was that this method of payment is highly unusual. One speculation was that perhaps Ron is being sued having had a car accident. Seems Ron drives like a teenager but being almost old enough for social security doesn’t have the quick reactions of a teenager. My speculation is that the Two Witnesses are getting a legal divorce with the Silent Witness getting all the assets so that the government has nothing to collect in the event of a conviction for tax evasion. We’ll have to see how this plays out, or perhaps the Spokesman Witness will explain (not holding my breath on that one).
It seems that some members are having problems accepting the ordination of women. Since they don’t agree, they should stop attending PKG. I suppose that after “investing” your life savings in PKG, it’s hard to leave. My advice is to do that, don’t throw good money after bad. There is still strife between PKG members. Ron waxed philosophical about peace:
What is peace? Experiencing peace with others around us. Being at peace even if others aren’t at peace with us. I have people out there who would like to see me dead. They would rejoice if I died. They would say (mockingly) “It’s so sad what I heard. Ppphhhhttt.” (Silent witness and the rest of the crowd chuckles). They would have a hard time keeping a straight face, because they would be so happy. (sarcastically) “Look at — I can’t believe the things he took to himself. Man, oh man. He really had a high estimation of himself. The Elijah-to-come. Hoo, hoo. Man did he really go out in left field. A prophet. Not just any prophet, but one of the two at the end. One of the Two Witnesses. He died. Man, was that guy nuts.” There would be people who would be happy about it. They would reverberate through the scattered body. Because people would be happy.
To really get the full impact, you have to listen to the tone of Ron’s voice (short mp3 clip if you don’t see the flash player above). As far as the what the reaction of the “scattered body” would be, for most of the other Armstrongite splinters it’s “Ron, who???”. When it comes those directly affected as a result of Ron’s false prophecies and exploitation, it’s another matter. Ron continued on about his mockers:
I don’t feel badly toward any of them. I don’t like what they do. I loathe some of the things they do to people, mainly to others in the church. I don’t take it personally. You can’t. It’s not about me.
You don’t feel badly toward others? What a crock!!!! Lest we forget, one of your own followers posted this excerpt from one of your sermons (April 19, 2008) on YouTube:
No, Ron — this was not a slip of the tongue. From the cadence of your voice, it’s obvious that you were reading from a prepared written statement. And you reiterated this death curse 8 months later when you really-for-real had your Witness power on your second 1335-day timeline.
Ron, you lying scumbag. You don’t get to take the moral high road on this. You took an affirmative step to cause my death and the deaths of others who rightly mock you, An affirmative step in your own mind if you really believe the crap you ladle out. On the other hand, no one has taken any action, spiritual or physical, to cause your death. In fact, I have taken affirmative action in the opposite direction, to convince someone else not to publicly post your address.
No, Ron — I’m not looking for your death. And if I were aware of a threat to your life, I would take affirmative action to prevent it by notifying the authorities. As far as how others whose lives you’ve damaged feel, I would not presume to judge their feelings. If it were to happen, your little routine from your latest sermon mocking your mockers mocking you should be transcribed as your epitaph.
In the past, I’ve noted that Ronald Weinland has been paying the property tax on their $381,000 home on a golf course directly to the county where he lives, instead of via a tax impound fund through their mortgage company as do most people. Taxes are due November 1, and Audra’s property taxes were paid on time by her mortgage company. (Click the small picture for a larger version of her property tax payment report).
When I looked for Ron’s property tax payment report this year I got a bit of a surprise. He did not pay the property taxes directly this year as he has in the past years. But neither were the taxes paid by a mortgage company. Instead, they were paid by the law firm of Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing. According to their website, they specialize in personal injury, business law, commercial banking, civil litigation, divorce, government practice, family law, as well as estate planning. Their “government practice” represents government entities in matters of civil nature.
However digging a bit deeper, they practice in another area of the law:
We understand the importance of excellent representation in this area of law. We offer extensive knowledge and efficincy in dealings in Ohio and Kentucky for all matters relating to criminal defense including traffic and DUI charges, misdemeanors and felonies.
As long time readers of my blog are aware, Ron Weinland has been under criminal investigation by the IRS beginning in 2008. This doesn’t seem quite like the law firm to defend that type of case. So I wonder if he is involved in some other legal matter. I’m not considering divorce as a possibility, as he and Laura have some kind of weird symbiosis going.
Weinland has posted an itinerary on his blog for trips through the end of April, including another trip “down under” to New Zealand and Australia. Also a side trip in December to Corpus Christi, Texas which is where Laura grew up. So he won’t be getting in an extra trip this year to Europe other than his usual Pentecost trip. But he does expect to be able to travel internationally next year.
I’m trying to figure out if having a law firm pay the property taxes on his house could be part of some legal strategy. The fact that they paid it 3 days late incurring a $79 penalty doesn’t speak well to their “efficincy” 😉 If anyone has any thoughts as to the significance of this development, please post a comment.
Ronald Weinland and his wife Laura claim to be the Two End-Time Witnesses of Revelation 11. Despite numerous failed prophecies, he continues on into a second, no third timeline with most of his followers. Some prefer to turn their thinking over to others.
