Kiwi Second Thunder
By now most of you should be aware of the magnitude 7 earthquake which shook Christchurch, New Zealand a few hours ago. A cousin of mine is in New Zealand, and has responded to concern about her safety with:

I expect Weinland will talk this up in his sermon tomorrow as evidence of the increasing thunders. Nevertheless, this second thunder will not prevent his appearance in New Zealand as scheduled in 3 weeks. The PKG feast site in Rotorua is over 300 miles from Christchurch on the northern main island, while Dunedin is only about 150 miles from Christchurch on the same southern main island. We could hope for a bit of 6th thunder in the form of an indictment on tax evasion charges to stop that, but that is not likely in the week or so before he leaves the US for his annual feast tour.
It’s too late for the thunders to fulfill prophecy. His prophecies have failed. No matter what he says now, it is false. And, I hadn’t yet heard of the earthquake in Christchurch. Magnitude 7 is within the “normal” range anyway. I can’t wait till Ron is out of the public eye and in hotel fed. That will be the day.
Perhaps NOW will be the time where millions of people come flocking into their church….right? Instead of a strengthening of thunders, it instead feels like a flat road with the occasional speed-bump.
All those unneeded elders must feel pretty restless right about now. They want to get a-dunkin’!

If Ronny does use this as an excuse to promote his false prophecies, then we need only use a bit of research and then we will realise that New Zealand is in a VERY VERY seismic area..even on the news last night when i heard about it, they said New Zealand has around 14,000 (yes 14 thousand) a YEAR and about 20 of those reach over 5.0. While one may argue that 7.0 is still abnormal…i would say perhaps…but the odds of New Zealand being hit by one like this “once” are pretty high considering it (as i said before) is in an area well known for quakes…just like California is well known and Hawaii…yes Hawaii..i remember he was goin on about a swarm of quakes there back in the day but most followers did not seem to know Hawaii is also a major earthquake area.
Finally a earthquake has appeared, whew… some were beginning to doubt the validity of… what? New Zealand is a Earthquake prone zone? Oh. Ok-bee then, well never mind. I guess it does not matter to much anyhow as the GT is so very far behind schedule anyway. What’s one more failure at this point? Another drop in the bucket.
Lets see, the first trumpet sounds in April 2008 to signal the GT. It’s currently September 2010 so that is, ah… lets see take the cosine, carry the 4, ummmm, 28 months completed out of the 42 subscribed by Ron so 666% complete (odd number?). Now, roughly about 5 trumpets should have sounded, mathematically speaking. How many have? What? Zero! You can’t be serious? Oh, you are serious. Hmmmm… this does throw the monkey wrench in the machine as it where does it not?
Well forget about that, lets talk about Germany! Now we can really get into the maelstrom of the Prophecies! Now Germany is, what? You don’t say? Well, it seems Germanys military forces and yearly budget has dropped the last 2 years running. They are becoming less militarily ready. Mercy, don’t they get it yet? They are the evil empire. How pathetic, they can’t even get their Ron given identity correct. Mercy… Have they produced a suitable military minded government bent on domination? No? Crime-a-dittly… They are really going to get fired if they don’t improve and like right now! Ok, is their president a suitable war like, what? Nope? Of for Christ sake here. Ok Are there people rising up and becoming more… what? Peaceful as a knitting circle you say? Oh this will not sit well with the Prophet, I can tell you that! Now, what about the Pope, how many horns has he grown on his head now two or the full 7? What? None? Like zero? I’m sure there must be an error there, well he’s probably sanding them down every morning or some such. Ok Germany may not be up to snuff yet but Europe as a whole is more than likely a seething sespot of, what? Nothing? No wars, no upgraded military, no mobs in the streets? Oh for the love of Pete. Ok, how about the Chinese hordes, have they assembled in their staging areas yet? Nothing ay? Not a one? Cripes! Can’t one of these deadbeat nations get a bead on their proper place in prophecy ah what? What are they all doing, sitting around drinking wine and playing cards? What? That is exactly what they are doing ay? With an occasional game of checkers or soccer you say? Mercy but they are going to get such a scathing letter from the head office. Ron’s gonna be pissed I tell’s ya. He might just fire to lot of em and get some new countries to fill the positions. How would the Americans feel about being invaded by the Lithuanians or mayhap some rowdy Turks or some such? Would that do? How about a horde of really upset Vietnamese? I know they don’t really have the numbers, but maybe they could get all in knot about social reforms and really overdosed on cough syrup and run amok like? Hey, I know it’s retarded but time’s a runnin out, you know? Maybe somehow Ron could get Belgium to take over the leading role in Europe and invade Germany? Ya, that would cause a stir no doubt.
Oh the problems with the modern day prophet. Go figure?
Barely made headline news. However, there are two things that are always certain:
1) There will be earthquakes in the world and
2) A self-professed “prophet” somewhere will take full advantage of it. (Not just Ron, they ALL do).
I live in New Zealand. The Earthquake in Christchurch was 7.1 it was very,very bad and was very frightening. Luckily nobody was killed. Have any of you’s experienced an earthquake??? Somehow I doubt it because if you’s had you would not write about it as a joke. If the ground ever shakes violently under you’s you will be very afraid…
Mike isn’t it? You and your followers are soooo dedicated in following Ronald Weinlands every move. Gosh……what drives you’s, is it Satan?? that carnal mind we all have???? or do you’s all have lead such sad lives that you have to follow someone elses?

Coshakiwi, I’m not sure whether your comments are worth commenting on, but I will say this. Mike here had dedicated this site to telling the truth about who Ron Weinland is, what Ron is doing and what Ron is preaching. He uses resources quoting Ron word for word, even his audio clips, to prove what Ron has said and is saying. There’s no getting around that. Ron has been proven a liar, and by his own words, insane.
Mike has not told anyone that they have to believe everything he says, or anything he says. He provides the proof. Yes, I believe that Ron is a liar, because he’s proven himself to be. Simple. Yes, he’s a false prophet because nothing he prophesied has come to pass. It’s just that simple.

Coshakiwi, when you make a claim about weather patterns, back it up with some hard data. Such as I’ve provided in this post on the 3rd Thunder.
And all the flaws in “2008: God’s Final Witness“. Page after page of them. By the way, Kirrily figured out that Ron is a false prophet all by herself, without any input from me. And much of the material on the linked page analyzing Ron’s failed book was written by Kirrily — without prompting from me.

Yes, I have read 2008 God’s Final Witness, quite an interesting read actually. I see I can read the disected (Mike) version on this site too! The truth is my attention was captured by the comments on the NZ earthquake, then I simply started ‘pulling’ your chains and you all started rattling away.

There always have been record disasters and always have been. Despite your deciding to look around now for them. Let’s make this simpler. On pages 107 to 108 in his book, Ron prophesied the deaths of 5 specific people as proof of himself as a prophet of God. This prophecy was made in a sermon back in 2006 as he read from a draft in his book, so there’s been much, much more than adequate time for this prophecy to be fulfilled. Who are these 5 people and when did they die?
This world has been around for thousands of years. The “data” you provided, Coshakiwi, goes back … let’s see … 50 years, 90 years, more than a decade (10 years), early 1800′s – once in a century type event (once in a hundred years), 40 years, a generation (eh…25 years maybe), 110 years. Like Kerrily said, it has all been as bad, or worse, before. Over-sensationalizing events to prove a proven liar to be true doesn’t do it. Has a third of all plant life been destroyed? No. Has anything Ron predicted come to pass? No. Especially in the first time line that “only God can give him”.
Mike doesn’t have a cult. He doesn’t tell us how to think, he just provides the proof. We don’t give him tithes (I haven’t given him a single penny) and he doesn’t travel all over the world on the money we don’t give him to try to make himself look important to us so we will continue to give him the money to continue to travel all over the world. Mike doesn’t tell us how to behave, what sites to look at or not look at, he doesn’t blame or shame us like Ron does his flock. I simply, on my own, read his site. My choice. I don’t even know what he looks like. I don’t feel guilty like you probably do reading this site, unless Ron gave his flock the go-ahead to read and comment.
And I’m not going to live my life in fear of “disastrous events” and the “coming apocalypse” because I have nothing to fear. No man is going to tell me where my heart is or judge my spiritual condition.

Regarding weather patterns and disasters Mike, it’s not hard to find charts on the web showing very clear upward trends. The following is just one example.

Mike, thank you for this wonderful site and all the hard work you put into it. You always post facts and it has been a wonderful confort to me. Since I have a close member in PKG it has helped me retain some sanity. The bottom line is-perhaps severe weather conditions are increasing, perhpas not. If Christ is preparing for his return, wonderful, I am ready. I don’t need a false prophet to throw out numbers and dates and death threats that don’t happen. My faith is in God and his book is the bible, nothing more, nothing less. Most of us realize that Ron is only a scam artist more interested in the money than anything else. His mind games distroy the minds of his followers and offers distruction to their families. Ron is a greedy insane little man that has found a way to have a great lifestyle. God will be the final judge.

Mal, I took at look at your link. Interesting graph, showing disasters increasing dramatically. But no indication of the raw data that drove it. The source of the graph looks like someone selling fear so they can sell survival gear. And the article is written by another purveyor of fear, someone who works for another false prophet, That False Prophet Gerald Flurry.
I prefer to get my data from more reliable sources. My earthquake data for posts I’ve done on the topic comes from the USGS. And the weather data came from another government agency.

Mike, if you search through my link which shows disasters rapidly increasing you will find a statement that Holly Deyo uses Munich Re data. Munich Re is one of the world’s largest reinsurers.
Sorry guys, but things are not how they have always been. As well as disasters rapidly increasing, including the effects of chaotic weather, growing pollution is poisoning the planet, the polar ice caps are melting, more and more species are under threat of extinction and mankind is recently in the unprecedented position of being able to bring about global destruction with nuclear weapons.
This fits with Biblical chronology that we are close to the end of the age (6000 years). Most thankfully, it is not all doom and gloom because God has promised to intervene.
For arguments sake Mal, (as there is proof either way), let’s say things are increasing.
What makes Ron any different from the many other people sprouting the same end of time stuff? Well, from Rons own words, it was for things to happen EXACTLY as Ronnie predicted.

As some of us have pointed out before, Rons very petiton of God to PROVE he was Gods final witness and prophet, in killing off Meredith and others BEFORE opening 7th seal was DENIED by God (both times).
If people look for escalation they will find it. Many, many churches have started this way, since the time of Jesus.
