Facebook and Bikinis

False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in the Spokane area yesterday, and today he is scheduled to visit Debbie Tiernan and the other brethren in the Salt Lake City area.  Even though Ralph Dowd came along, Ron gave area elders Eric Wiesman and Chris Czech the mike for the prayers.  A stirred-up spirit being caused Ron’s computer to crash while Ron was talking about him.  As a result, the copy on the PKG website does not include the first 20 minutes of his sermon.  Never fear, I have a recording of that available for download (22 MB).  Just doing a service, just doing a service.  Doing this even though it turns out that I’ve committed the unpardonable sin.  It seems that Weinland’s fickle mixed-up God won’t resurrect me just to cast me in the lake of fire.  From Ron’s comment, he must have been reading the comments on my blog such as this one.   But my comment in that discussion didn’t register with him.

Ron actually was in Coeur D’Alene, ID which is just across the border from Spokane.  He pronounced it like “cord elaine”.  I don’t know how the locals pronounce the name of their town, but given Ron’s propensity to mangle the names of his members (eg “mill-knee” for Milne), I would want a second opinion.

There are three more Saturdays before entering the fall feast season with the Feast of Trumpets on September 9.  Since Ron’s sermon for Trumpets was pre-recorded in 2008 and again last year,  I wonder if he’ll do the same this year.  Perhaps not, unless it turns out to be yet another prophetically significant day.  Seems Ron is moving forward with his plan for a booklet to be released at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles.  According to him, he has prepared all of his sermons with the exception of the Last Great Day.  Since all four new “truths” are to be revealed during the feast before the LGD, I wonder what lying wonder he’ll come up with for the LGD, as he usually tries to hit a climax for the last sermon.

Ron repeated his edict banning bikinis — you might as well be naked in his mind.  I guess Ron gets cheap thrills at the hotel pools when traveling.  August must be the month for edicts, as last August was when he came out with his condemnation of Facebook which was an edict for his elders, which he enforced by defrocking Benjamin Ikwueme for keeping his Facebook page and hundred’s of Facebook friends.

July & August could be the season for IRS activity against Ron.  July of 2008 was when the IRS issued summonses for his financial records and the criminal investigation of him was exposed in August of 2008.  Then in August of last year, the IRS issued a summons to Audra which required court enforcement.  Again, Ron spoke in his sermon about the stirred up spirit being, who seems to be manifested by the IRS Special Agent investigating his case.

Ron spent most of the sermon discussing relationships within PKG.  There are members biting and devouring, including one who takes advantage of another’s generosity by ordering a $10 mixed drink when invited to dinner.  Members and the “ministry” are backsliding.  Even so it’s a great sin to disrespect elders.  One of his evangelists is being disrespected, perhaps Terry Wrozek.  And some don’t even pay the proper deference to Ron when he visits their area — wonder if he’ll soon be issuing death curses against them too.

I think that if the IRS succeeds in giving Ron an extended vacation in Club Fed, that without him to keep his thumb on the situation PKG will fly apart.  With the investigation now over two years along, I’m expecting it will soon be complete, one way or the other.

I wonder if he is of the character where he will let Audra take the blame AND the fall? Two years along now and it appears Ron is as slippery with the IRS as he is with his timeline of thunders and horrors.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I forgot to mention that Ronnie went off on his critics again, “get a life” etc. Still claiming that we’re part of his past, which is not at all true. And Ronnie warned his members against betraying him (like Judas). Guess he’s worried about our blogs.

  • EXCOGGER says:

I hope Ron is worried about our blogs and has many sleepless nights wrestling with his conscience. Maybe he’ll take a long, hard look at his mind-set and realize he is no more God’s servant than my barber. Then he could either retire or find a new job.

  • Steve says:

So if ronny is against bikinis etc….why then did he sit in australia with other members of pkg with adverts all around him of i think it was underwear models or women in bikini’s (or both)….mike…that picture you posted a while back…thats the one i am talking about where the members are sittin around a table outside some shops….perhaps f you have it at hand and think its relevant you could perhaps post it…

Ah! Good to see we are making progress on the lake of fire, although I am still a bit hazy on the details there. So anyone who has lived in the earthly paradise and still does not wish to conform is thrown in, holocaust-style? Or is the entire lake of fire now cancelled? I wish we could be clearer on this. Also, if the unpardonable sin is to disagree with god, what is the difference between god and a common tyrant?

And now that we are in the getting answers business – where are the german tanks? Where the asiatic hordes? Why has this not happened, and why does it not even look like it is going to happen in the next few years? Why have a prophet if the prophet’s predictions unfailingly fail to materialize?

  • Whisper says:

    Matt:
I think if you conform to Ron then you are protected and don’t need a resurrection. If you don’t but are not a “mocker” of Ron then you get resurrected later and get a chance to be pardoned. If you are a “mocker” then you are resurrected even further along and get thrown into the Lake.
It’s a long and confusing theology made up as Ron desired it to, so very hard to keep up with. I can’t stand by my interpretation of it, as it is a real mess, the theology that is :-) .

To be honest, God can be just if anyone disagrees with him, being all-knowing, and punish whomever he wants to. But to flat out lie by laying out what a prophet is and then create Insane Lying Ron as a “prophet” and send him in is just flat out wrong. Either Ron is a prophet and the Bible is wrong or the other way around. Go figure?

I rather think Ron does not understand the military, culture or human nature (as he is much to busy making up theology and just flat out “wanting” all things to be as he say’s they need to be, including human nature). I rather think Ron thinks that Germany will suddenly rise up and have a military of huge proportions and a people hell-bent on world conquest. All the sudden like with no logical reason as to how it happened. Factories will appear overnight, war production will miraculously appear on the warehouse shelves, tanks and guns will suddenly appear, a whole raving population will suddenly make an appearance. Reality don’t work that way but Ron is not one for Reality any-who. Same for the Chinese “Horde” of Ron’s philosophy. China will have the same thing happen, just “poof” and presto-chango China will be a war-like nation with suddenly appearing huge military and another raving population hell-bent upon world destruction! Neither of these nations are anywhere ready for a large conflict, only of simple self defense. Neither has any logistics or military capability to do what Ron is suggesting, it would take years for them (if they went 100% TOTAL WAR industry) to attain a world conquering force ready for such long range action as Ron states. It’s pathetic to see a man’s religious fantasies leave him with only vague knowledge of how reality works. The guy is just “wack” and his followers don’t know any better. Reminds me of Herberts statement in 1944 when he said that the Allies had barely put a dent in the Japanese Defenses in the Pacific when, at that exact time, Japan had already been militarily defeated and all its defense barriers broken down with B-29 war plane attacks upone the Home Islands arleady under way. Realit just doesn’t work for either of them…

I’m sure that teens in bikinis “stir up his spirit”, LOL, hence the outrage and condemnation. Here’s a hint, any time a minister talks about anything sexual, it is because it is a stumbling block for him and he must excoriate his carnal desires through preaching. Why was he looking anyway and making judgments? Teens in bikinis or gay escorts. Just look at the news and you know I am right.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

I suspect Laura likes the Gold Coast here in Oz. It’s not only known as Surfers Paradise, but Cougars Paradise. Lots of eye candy for both of the witnesses.

Great, they will be right near me.

I’ve always wondered what I would do if I bumped into them. Luckily I’m a lot calmer
    these days.

They are coming here to the Gold Coast again for the feast aren’t they Mike?

  • Baywolfe says:

What a textbook classic example of a cult. Limit the exposure to the outside world, including banning (instead of embracing) social networking.

I also agree with Mark that the forbidding of the carnal desires usually coincides with the carnal desires of the person doing the forbidding.

I read a great article, years back, on how cults try to control the most basic of human psychological “pressure points”: money, food, sexuality. The writer’s point was that ANY organization that tries to control these things are already on the slippery slope to cultdom without even having to consider their other actions.

  • Debbie says:

On one hand Ronnie lifts ‘the curse’ from women – then he turns around and puts different restrictions upon them – what a guy!

What – nothing said about the men in speedos – Or is it one-piece whole body suits for men & women alike, he he !!

Kirrily wrote – “Lots of eye candy for both of the witnesses” –

I wondered why Ron & Laura keep returning to Austalia/NZ for the fall feast days – Is it for the climate? or the scenery?

Baywolfe wrote “I also agree with Mark that the forbidding of the carnal desires usually coincides with the carnal desires of the person doing the forbidding.”

I agree with that principle as well. And to take it a step further, many people with mental health illnesses often have disturbances with their “sexual selves” – whether it be related to the disease process itself or the meds they are prescribed

Kirrily might be able to shed some light on how much Ronnie & Laura partake of alcoholic beverages – He was ranting on how members need to take care how much they inbibe so as not to set a poor example for those who can’t ‘handle it’ – (people who had been winebibbers) –

I remember from previous sermons (couple of years ago) he mentioned many times about the wine cellar they have in their home – well stocked with bottles from all around the world – Purchased with tithe dollars, of course -

  • Rambo says:

What was Ron’s career outside the ministry that has given him such wealth?

I find it hard to believe that he would use church money to buy his house, car, wine, etc…well, at least I don’t want to believe that.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron is scheduled to be in the Gold Coast next month, 27th – 30th. Kirrily, are you planning to stop by and say “Hi”? Maybe give Ron a free boxing lesson ;) I imagine they’ll have Peter Herrmann waiting outside to greet you and escort you promptly into the presence of the Spokesman Witness so that you can immediately begin the tutorial. :-D

The photo of Ron at the Gold Coast was not taken at the beach, no one in that picture in a bikini. You can find the picture at my old blog location.

Ron’s career before becoming a Mister was as a salesman in the petrochemical industry, and it ended in 1982 after maybe 5 years. Doubt he made enough in commissions to coast the rest of his life.

It’s been reported in comments on my blog that Ron can belt-em back. But no independent confirmation of that.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

We are having an election here next weekend, and our Liberal leader is often seen in what we call here ‘Budgie Smugglers’ (Speedos).

Oh yeah, us Gold Coasters love showing flesh – The Gold Coast Meter Maids are particularly fetching.

Ron loves to drink, as does his wench (as do I lol). Wayne also loves a good drop – but yes in moderation (unlike me).

Would be so funny if I bumped into them. Ron might fall onto my boxing glove, as I would be wearing a bikini and not looking where I was going, too busy updating my Facebook status on my iPhone.

  • Steve says:

    Mike said;

“The photo of Ron at the Gold Coast was not taken at the beach, no one in that picture in a bikini. You can find the picture at my old blog location”

I was talking about the “adverts”, not real women Mike…please re-read. If you click on the enlarged version by clickin on it, you will see 4 large adverts of women in what appears to be a bikini’s

  • matt says:

LOL! Budgie smugglers! Thats the best name for them I have heard yet!

  • Steve says:

    Point being that ron goes on about women should not be in bikini’s etc but yet he is ok to sit around 4 large photo’s/ads of them for his male members to be “tempted” by lol….in his mentality (if he really believes it which i doubt)…he should go to the “true” extreme and not sit by adverts like that or even go on the beach….oh yeah almost forgot;

    Debbie said;

“What – nothing said about the men in speedos ”

Laura told him to keep quiet on that one LOL

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

OK, I do see some posters with women in silhouettes, can’t tell if they were bikini clad. Kirrily was there, maybe she can tell.

Kirrily, as you were walking through Surfers Paradise that day so Ron could take care of his jones for Starbucks, did encounter any Gold Coast Meter Maids and what was Ron’s reaction if you did?

  • Whiteknight777 says:

The man is obviously a two-bit religious thug just like the political one in the white house.

How anyone of a sane mind can endure his sermons is beyond me. I tried once, but could not put up with more than 10 minutes. He drones and drones and clearly demonstrates his unsound mind. His fellowers must also be of unsound minds, otherwise, they too will not be able to endure the verbal suffering that he renders.

    Whiteknight777

  • JB says:

Whiteknight777, I agree with your first comment completely!! Ronnie without a doubt is of unsound mind but still capible of being a con artist. His followers start out of sound mind but are completely brain washed to believe everything he says. Their logical minds seem to disappear, that is why those of us with family members under Ronnies spell want them out so badly.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

No meter maids Mike, but whilst he was sipping on his Starbucks, a girl did walk past very scantily dressed (even for our standards). I was watching him to see if he was watching her – and he was. Then he looked straight at me whilst I was still watching him.

At the time I thought God had told him I was watching him. Geez, so good to have those hundreds of little thoughts GONE now!! Talk about a clearer more sound mind! It’s amazing what your mind can do to itself.

Nothing worse than questioning your own motives for every single concious thought, THAT is truly bondage (and sends many insane).

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

In the picture of the Starbucks event, you were wearing sunglasses. So Ron wouldn’t have known you were looking at him, unless you turned your head significantly in his direction. Did you happen to notice where Laura was looking at the time? Any hunks in speedos? :-D

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

I’m sure he saw me looking at him, I was ashamed he saw me at the time lol. Laura was probably too busy flirting with my husband – she wouldn’t leave him alone. She even invited him to the service! He declined ofcourse. They all liked my hubbie as he never gave anyone a hard time.

  • Steve says:

Im more interested in Ron’s facial expression on that picture lol….did he have a vision of the IRS?…or was it simply him lookin at the shop window reflection?…amazing…truly

  • GD says:

I attended an illegal wedding that Ron did in the uk ,many guests did not turn up because they did not agree with the marriage ,there were many empty tables. I could see Ron scanning the guests and all i could see was the dollar signs in his eyes -he really is just a bad con artist .

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Ron looks like he’s laughing at some lame joke, while Laura isn’t quite so amused. Probably did not cackle at the joke.

Early in 2008, around the first time the Seventh Seal didn’t open, Ron married Bo from Texas (whose mother happens to be one of Ronnie’s elders) to Libby from the UK while visiting in London. Libby is now living in the US, so something must have been done to convince the US authorities that the marriage was legal, because the US investigates before handing out “green cards” (immigrant status). Or maybe they had another ceremony later on that was legal.

So did Ron use the occasion as an opportunity to gather new converts from among the relatives and other guests? Did his message during the ceremony go beyond the institution of marriage?

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

I don’t know about Ron, but Wayne ‘married’ Nathan and Sharna, but told them it wasn’t legal. So the following Monday (I think it was Monday) , they went to the courthouse to marry legally, also so all their family could attend (as they hated our ‘church’).

Maybe it’s the same deal with Ron?

Wayne said they can marry people before God, but not by the law if the land – hence the need for a celebrant or a licenced person.

  • Atrocious says:

You mean that Ron or Wayne or any of the elders are not licensed to marry people? Does that mean that they are not licensed clergy? Does that mean that they are not “legally” ministers? I don’t understand this. Maybe I’m dumb or something but can someone explain this to me?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Each legal jurisdiction has its own requirements. Here in the US, it’s on a state-by-state basis. Perhaps in some my Internet ordination might actually make me legal. :-D

I have a suspicion that in other countries it’s harder for a church to become recognized. Wouldn’t surprise me if what GD meant by “illegal wedding” was that Ron’s ceremony had no legal effect, so Bo & Libby just like Nathan & Sharna had to back it up with a civil ceremony to be legally recognized.

Kirrily, were your tithes to PKG tax-deductible or is that the way it works in Australia?

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

No they weren’t tax deductible. GTA was. Each church has to get registered the the appropriate governing body to allow tithers to have them deductible.

Unless PKG has now achieved that (which I doubt), tithes paid are not deductible. Ouch. So glad I don’t pay it anymore. Now I’m actually able to save :)

  • jack635 says:

Perhaps in some my Internet ordination might actually make me legal.

Gee Mike, are you a ULC minister too? I also have the Doctor of Divinity. These peices or paper are more valid than Ron’s ministry.

As for marriage anyone who wants to be legally married must obtain a marrriage licence and declare their intentions in front of two witnesses who must sign the certificate. Then the marriage must be registered with the government. That’s all there is to it according to the law. Doing it in a church is just tradition.

I am amazed that some churches will say someone is not really married in the eyes of God if they were married in front of a Justice of the Peace. Ministers want money. Period.

Well, some want even more than money. Ever heard of Dennis Rader? He was a wolf in shepard’s clothing if I ever had to describe one. I’d say worse than Jim Jones.

  • jack635 says:

Sorry for rambling, Mike. But Rader does look eerily like the Insane Lying False Prophet.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Dennis Rader also was into religion, and was the president of his church congregation.

  • jack635 says:

Yes, he was a member of the Church of Christ for 30 years, moving up through the positions til he achieved the status of President of the church council. I studied his case as part of a human behaviour and human resources risk assessment course. He was in the security business and a member of the church. A person like hem should not be in the security busineess…….or in a church. He had the perfect cover for being an evil criminal. Most criminals eventually get caught in the end. Let’s hope that’s the case for Weinland soon. His mugshot will probably be posted here when the IRS arrests him. Right? ha ha Especially if he keeps preaching while out on bail.
