THE FEAST & NEW TRUTHS

False Prophet Ronald Weinland is finally getting around to updating his website.  He’s just added a post to his blog, the last time was in January.  To save you the effort of finding it, and also to save it for posterity since he deletes them after a time,  it’s quoted  down below the fold.

——————————————————–
Over the past several months, this site has been valuable to the degree that it has kept the “Upcoming Trips” updated so that any in those areas who have wanted a closer relationship to the Church have been able to exercise that desire.

Some may feel that more posts should be written, but I count it as a great blessing that I have not had the need to write, since the world has not yet been thrust into great devastation and suffering which will begin once the Second Trumpet sounds. Only a few understand this current period of grace and mercy that God has granted this world, as He is holding back the sounding of that trumpet.

As I am starting to write this post, I think of the date today and its symbolic importance, since this is day 666 to the return of Jesus Christ on Pentecost of 2012. For me personally, this is now a countdown from evil and the evil one. The time of dwelling with evil in this world is nearing its end. For God’s Church, this year’s Feast of Tabernacles (now only a few weeks away) will be focusing on the end of evil and the beginning of real peace on this earth; something that mankind has never truly experienced. Yet that message of peace has been the gospel (God’s good news) given to mankind for the past 6,000 years, and now it is almost here.

Yes, God is revealing to this world (although it does not yet know it) that He is filled with infinite mercy and He loves His creation. Not only is God going to intervene and prevent mankind from annihilating himself on May 27th of 2012, but He is holding back the traumatic suffering that will begin once that Second Trumpet sounds. This constraint on the sounding of the remaining trumpets is also being done in order to grant the “potential” for more people being saved. Ultimately, however, it is each individual’s choice to humble his or herself in order to be saved.

Worldwide devastation and massive suffering would already be here if it were not for God’s purpose to “manifest” the depths of His mercy and to grant His Church answers to their prayers to save more people.

The consequences of the normal sequence of events for this 21st Century world are being constrained by God. Due to the condition that man has brought to this world through the misuse of modern technology, the corruption of governments, and the Babylonian economic system that exists worldwide, the world would have already been thrust into traumatic tribulation if not for God’s intervention. With such selfish human nature, mankind is his own worst enemy.

God moved His Church to observe a two-day fast (Jan. 31, 2009) shortly after the Seventh Seal had been opened and the First Trumpet had sounded. It would be good once more to read part of what was posted nearly a year and a half ago concerning that fast.

FROM AN EARLIER POST (March 6, 2009):
Bold bracketed “[ ]” text indicates added comments:

“This “holding back” is in large part due to the result of God answering the prayers of His people who set aside a time of fasting, similar to that of Esther, whose results are remembered to this day in what is called the Feast of Purim.

On January 31 [2009], the Church of God entered a prolonged fast (a fast that lasts beyond the normal one day), and God’s people petitioned God, humbling themselves in the process, seeking that God would humble more people, and thereby deliver many more than He initially revealed would be saved [by a normal sequence of end-time events due to what man has brought this world to at this stage after 6,000 years]. This is all the result of God’s will and His purpose that is being worked out for this world, and although God has granted to offer mercy to more people in this end-time by bringing more to humility [more can be brought to humility through such a process as being explained in this post], the choice of repentance is still in the hands of those whom God humbles and grants mercy. It is sad that there will be many who will still refuse God’s mercy and His offer to save them physically through this final end-time.

The petitions that went up before God were not for the purpose that the destructive power be lessened (as this cannot be changed), but that the period of time of the actual physical suffering from it will be lessened [the actual duration condensed], and that through this very process more people will potentially be able to be saved (who can indeed live on into the millennial period that is rapidly approaching). This not only includes the possibility of many more people of different nations being saved, but it also includes an offer of saving many more who were part of the scattering in the Church after the apostasy in 1994 (who otherwise would not have been given such opportunity and blessing).”

CONTINUING PRESENT POST:
Yes, that two-day fast was for the people of this world. It was a petition requesting that more would have the potential of being saved than would otherwise be the case if things happened in their natural, normal progression. Through this fast, God revealed His desire to grant great mercy to all mankind by lessening the time for actual suffering that begins once the Second Trumpet sounds. Once the world begins to become aware of this, the potential for more being saved will become a reality.

2010 Feast of Tabernacles & New Truth:
God’s Church is blessed this year to be able to observe God’s eight day Feast in twelve sponsored locations, with six being international and the remainder being in the U.S.

This year’s Feast is going to be one of the most exciting and fulfilling spiritual Feasts that God has ever inspired! God will establish four additional doctrinal truths that will be given at this Feast. Two of these truths have been referred to only in passing (in the very slightest of terms), but they have not been focused upon and have not yet been taught and established as doctrine in the Church.

God gave the 50th Truth which led us to understanding the correct timing for the return of Jesus Christ. In Worldwide, we had come to believe that Jesus Christ would return on a Feast of Trumpets, however, with the revelation of this truth we came to understand that Christ would return on Pentecost—specifically, Pentecost of 2012.

At the time that this truth was being revealed, I believed that this was the final truth God would give us. That was partially true. It was the last truth to be given during the Laodicean Era (the last era of God’s Church). Shortly after this truth was given, we came to understand that God’s work for the Firstfruits was complete once the Seventh Seal was opened on the Feast of Trumpets in 2008 (Sept. 30th).

It was on this day that the eras of God’s Church ended, with the final Laodicean Era coming to an end. On this day, the work of God for the past 6,000 years concerning the preparation and complete sealing of the 144,000 who would be resurrected when Jesus Christ returns had ended. Those who had died in the faith and those still alive (who would make up that count of the 144,000) were fully sealed by that date.

Anyone being called of God and becoming a part of the Church from that date forward would not be part of that resurrection, but would live on into a new age, as the Church of God would continue on into that new Millennium.

A new era began on Trumpets of 2008, although a short one, which would continue up to the day of Christ’s return as King of kings. It was the beginning of the final countdown of the 1335 days prophesied in Daniel 12.

In this new era of the countdown to Christ’s return, God has continued revealing new truth to His Church. God’s true Church has never stagnated since the apostasy in December 1994, but has continued to grow in truth that God has revealed. All others have stagnated and only carry a resemblance of the Church before the apostasy.

To date, three additional truths have been given in this new era and four more will be given during the Feast of Tabernacles. This will bring the total number of new truths revealed to God’s Church since the apostasy to a number that should have deeply significant meaning to all who know the history of the last three Church Eras. After the Feast, God will have given a total of 36 new truths to His Church since the apostasy. How incredible is that? Who could have known that such a thing would come to pass?

Yes, this year’s Feast of Tabernacles will prove to be one of the most exciting and fulfilling spiritual Feasts that God has ever inspired!

Hang on – “anyone being called of god and becoming part of the church from that date forward would not be part of that resurrection, but would live on into a new age” – so you DO buy yourself a ticket to survival by joining the church. But with the loophole that you need to be called of God (why the weird usage? To make it sound more spiritual than being called by god?)

So he IS actually saying that it works that way, explicitly. Chillingly, what he must have meant when he snickered about the people who would die in the tribulation was that there were loads in the church who were not really called and who would be wiped out. Makes you realize the extent of the megalomania there – the death of poor little people who cannot fathom how rons great mind works really do not matter. Unlike him god doesn’t speak to them. And all this is the work of god anyway so he doesn’t even have to feel sorry for them. What does this life matter anyway?

There, I think, we have one of the dangers of religious fanaticism – it absolves you of all responsibility save the responsibility to serve your god.

I am glad to see 2012 is still on. I had a sneaking suspicion we were due for a postponement, but it is still being repeated again and again. If he sticks to 2012 just a little longer, more people will come to their senses when he finally backs out of that one. I guess in a way the condensation of the tribulation really IS a blessing, and characteristically centered entirely on the church itself.

Wow. What a bunch of crock! And the thing is, he words everything in such a way as to (attempt to) create fear in the mind of the reader. He makes it sound like everything is right on target, and that which didn’t happen didn’t happen because of the mercy and grace of his god. He is truly a master of lies and manipulation. I can’t wait till May 27, 2012 so he can finally be revealed as the false prophet and charlatan that he is without a shred of doubt (there is no doubt about that already in my mind).

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

That is a TOTAL LIE about purpose of that fast. It was to INCREASE the Thunders!!!!!! I was there. Just another proof of Rons deception.

  • Kirrily Xpkg says:

Nothing about that fast was to lessen the time of trib!!

  • Whisper says:

“shortly after the Seventh Seal had been opened and the First Trumpet had sounded”

“When we are told that a third of all plant life will be destroyed, that is exactly what it means.”

Ok, so how much plant life has died off in your little corner of the world? Is your front lawn bare? Are you crops dead in the field? How many forests have been laid waeste all the sudden like?
My grass just wont stop growning. The crops in the fields outside of town are as full as they ever where. None of the forests near by have had any disasters.
The Trumpet has sounded? Really? Like where? Where has 1/3 of the plant life been destroyed?

    Go figure?

  • Atrocious says:

Here in central U.S. the grass is plush green, the trees are all green, full and lush, the apple tree in the yard next door is so full of apples the branches are hanging to the ground…etc. The grocery stores produce sections are still very full of green things; lettuce, celery, green peppers, spinach, etc etc. The cows still seem to have a lot of grass to chew. Oh me oh my! How one does imagine things!

INSANE, LYING, GREEDY, FEAR-MONGERING, HATEFUL, FALSE PROPHET RONALD WEINLAND!

  • angel says:

Three new truths and four more to come…..a number that should have deeply significant meaning…..incredible….zzzzzzz

Still throwing those numbers out there to astound and amaze those who are astounded and amazed by such things – frankly, I’m amazed they keep falling for it. Still trying to make it sound SO EXCITING! Boy, what some capital letters and a few exclamation marks can do for some people; it’s like when you go into a restaurant you’ve been in before that has a sign, UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT – GRAND OPENING! And it’s still crappy food and lousy service.

  • JB says:

As a strong Christian I find this blog just as laughable as the last one. The blogg and all these truths do nothing but stroke Ronnies ego, pure and simple!!

  • todd says:

    LOL…what a con!
    truth # 1 S@#$ rolls down hill
truth # 2 hot air rises
truth # 3 RW is a false prophet and con man.
truth # 4 not nearly as exciting as he promises.

there you go ronnie….i have four truths also!

  • ds says:

“After the Feast, God will have given a total of 36 new truths to His Church since the apostasy. How incredible is that? Who could have known that such a thing would come to pass?”

    Im guessing ronny knew.

  • Mark says:

You have to believe that Ron is God’s spokesman in order to believe any of his “truths”. Ron has been proven a false prophet, so his truths are really just ploys to keep his flock pining for more and not giving up on him.

He who has an ear, let him hear…

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Unfortunately, PKG members _do_ believe that Ron speaks for God, despite all disconfirming evidence.

  • Baywolfe says:

As a strong Christian I find this blog just as laughable as the last one.

JB, strong Atheists feel the same way.

  • Atrocious says:

I wonder what INSANE, LYING, GREEDY, FEAR-MONGERING, HATEFUL, FALSE PROPHET RONALD WEINLAND will do when nothing happens on May 27th of 2012? Do you think he’ll say it was a spiritual return? Do you think he’ll say that Christ was merciful and delayed his coming once again so more could be saved? Or maybe he’ll blame his flock for not being ready and ask for ALL their money and assets to prove their loyalty to Ron-god. Do you think he will FINALLY concede and say he is, after all, a false prophet? Or maybe he’ll just dig a big hole in the ground and stay there, never to be seen again?

    Heh.

  • EXCOGGER says:

JB, it’s not laughable when family members are being controlled and deceived by this would-be prophet and profiteer!

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Agreed, what Weinland does to his followers is not amusing. Weinland himself, on the other hand, is highly deserving of being laughed at. His message is laughable, that some take it seriously is not.

  • jander says:

This is a stretch, but what if Ron’s health fails before the ominous date in 2012 and he dies?! He has already had heart issues. Just a thought.

  • Atrocious says:

There are people who were convinced that HWA wasn’t going to die, but he did. And I’m sure that there are people that are convinced that RW isn’t going to die until he dies on the streets of Jerusalem, lays there for 3 days and is resurrected. And if he dies of a heart attack mowing the lawn or is a casualty of a plane crash, or however his “end” comes, what then? Will his followers still believe? Will they finally understand that he is/was a false prophet and all the things he has proven himself to be? I would hope so.

And, no, it is not funny that he affects so many lives of those who DO take him seriously and believe his many lies. That’s why this site is here, so they can read and wake up, hopefully.

  • JB says:

The effects that Ron has on his flock is devistating, I know all to well because I have a close family member that has fallen in his trap. It has had a serious effect on me and my health. Remember that I have never been a member of PKG or any COG “church” and laughing at Ron and the stupid things he says helps me to deal with it. Realizing that Ron is nothing more than a sick ego seeking con artist helps to ease the pain.

  • MH says:

I wish they (especially my husband) would open their eyes and look at a site like this. Sadly, they are under orders (Ron’s) not to. Even if they did, they would see it as persecution and take pride (oh no, not that!) in the fact they were being persecuted by “the world”. But I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this site. I have been reading for a year, since I took myself and my kids out of that cult (after a year of trying to figure out what my husband saw in PKG). Every night before bed I come here for some sort of comfort. Thank you for this bit of sanity.

  • Steve says:

“After the Feast, God will have given a total of 36 new truths to His Church since the apostasy. How incredible is that? Who could have known that such a thing would come to pass”

LOL….i almost spit out my tea in laughter reading that

  • Whisper says:

    MH

Glad to hear that youself and your children are safely outside Ron’s crazy “get rich quick” church.
Very sorry to hear that your husband is still being incarcerated within. This is exactly what people hate so much about this fly speck of a cult, it rips up families and Ron cares not at all.
I pray that his eye’s will be opened to a greater God than Weinlands tyranny dictates. I truely hope you are not loosing money left and right to this poor ecuse for a man (Ron), for each dollar that excapes a persons pocket to travel into Ron’s grasp is one more tool for Ron to use to harm even more people. I hope your kids are safe from Armstrongism and you insulate them well, for a childs mind is a horrible thing to fill with such nonsense. My prayers (and others I must hope) go with you MH. Mikes Blog is an intrament of God in this case, thank goodness :-) .

  • Debbie says:

I read Ron’s post early yesterday a.m. from his website – I could be wrong, but I thought I read something about a pamplet which Ron may write & make available @ this upcoming Feast rearding the “new truths”- I just re-read it & I don’t see it there now –

I would not be surprised if Ron is writing another book – I notice he has PDF files for his sermons as far back as August 2009 – perhaps as a result of this “new church era” and “new truths” it will be the 67th book of the bible in his mind –

Ron writes – “It was on this day that the eras of God’s Church ended, with the final Laodicean Era coming to an end” – From the little that I know from my years as a member of WWCG – it was HWA who brought forth the idea or ‘understanding’ of the 7 churches written of in Revelation being ‘church eras’ – Again Ron is building a shaky structure on the shifting sand of HWA –

In the same manner that Ron wrote of the Thunders which came from his colorful imagination, he now writes of ‘new truths and a new church era’ – He continues to dangle those carrots for his followers -

Kirrily hit the nail on the head in pointing out Ron’s lie regarding the ‘prolonged fast’ – Now Ron says it was to show ‘God’s mercy’ rather than it’s original intention of intensifying the ‘Thunders’ and causing more people to be humbled & repent – Clearly Ron now has his own shifting sands –

A while back I read a bit of Ron’s sermon on ‘More Time’ – (was that the 50th ‘truth’ – hard to keep track) – His writings tend to ramble @ times – but there was something about 7 days of the week and each day is 140 days – I wondered as I read if this is part of the ’50th truth – part A, B or C or will this be a ‘ new truth’ –

Mike, you are giving an amazing gift of your time & efforts in continuing this blog – Thank You

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Thanks for the good words, Debbie, Whisper, and MH.

MH, you’re pretty much right about how Ron’s members would see this blog. I have had members, elders, even evangelists visit my blog. My success rate at getting them to see reality is low, but still high enough to make it worthwhile.

Debbie, as far as the booklet/pamphlet for the feast: Ron did mention that in his sermon last week as a possibility.

Regarding the revisionism that Kirrily and Debbie have pointed out: I reviewed the Jan 31, 2009 sermon. Ron went on for a time about how it would be nice if the trumpets were delayed. But as far as what they were to fast and pray for, Ron said:

Can we grasp what it’s going to take to bring them to repentance? … So what does it take? Suffering. To think that you would pray for the suffering of some, for the death of some. So that others could live. … So again, what is the purpose of our prayers, petitions and fasting before God? … That more be brought to repentance and acceptance of the truth by the timing, repetition, and power from unleashing far mightier thunders. And as well the trumpets

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I just noticed that Ron was mixed up with all his prophetic symbols. :-D Note the “Seventh Seal was opened on the Feast of Trumpets in 2008 (Sept. 30th)”. According to his timeline, 9/30/08 was the sealing of the 144,000 and the Seventh Seal opened on 11/14/08.

I also noticed that Ron has edited his blog post to fix this.
