The First Trumpet: It Just Goes On and On

False Prophet Ronald Weinland delivered his sermon this weekend before the faithful in Dallas, Texas.  This is one of the larger PKG groups, local elders Steve Blair and Jimmy Carlisle gave the prayers so it wasn’t necessary to import Ralph Dowd.  But for some reason it was necessary for Greg Chipps to come along. Greg programs the web page where PKG members register for up to 8 days of attendance of the Feast of Tabernacles this fall.

Ron had trouble pronouncing some names as he was reading from the scripture, which isn’t surprising considering that he has problems pronouncing the names of his own members. The sermon topic was one near and dear to the Two Witnesses’ hearts:  Tithes and Offerings.  Ron collects tithes although he has Czech and German background and therefore is not a Levite.

It also seems that the English monarchy are Jews since they descended from King David.  My research indicates that they are actually Germans, but if a German can be a Levite and collect tithes, then I guess they can be Jews as well. Since this was part 1 of a what will probably be a long series, perhaps Ron will shed more light on that.  Or maybe not, as he proudly reiterated his conversion to Armstrongism which did not require any scripture or other research.  Just as his followers are able to remain convinced of Ron’s prophecies despite his abysmal track record.

British-Israelism is sooooo 1800s, Rotten Ron!

Strangely enough, the REAL “Israelitish nations” from the “Lost Ten Tribes” are…how shall I put this delicately…?

    OVERWHELMINGLY NOT WHITE.

    So, yeah.

  • xHWA says:

Nearly all of the monarchs of the major European nations including Russia are related. That’s why hemophilia (disease where blood does not clot correctly) runs in most royal families.
Just take a quick glance at this Wikipedia article on “Haemophilia in European Royalty” for example.
So, one cannot easily say “British royalty are this while Russian royalty are that.” Because it isn’t so.

  • Debbie says:

Seems that Ronnie can feed his flock whatever info he desires (Brit royalty is actually Jewish) – ‘cuz they just accept it without any need for clarification or proof –

I wonder how Queen Elizabeth and her kin would feel about that !!

That is interesting that Gregg Chipps was along for the trip – Does the flock realize they are paying for these “cling ons” to globe trot with Ron & Laura?

Most likely they really don’t care @ this point – They are probably excited re: earthquake near India & hoping that the “supposed Thunders” will be increasing – After all – pretty soon they are going to have to start paying for those accounts which they were hoping would become redundant with the blowing of the “supposed Trumpets”.

The big hi-light now for the followers of Ronald will be the Feast of Tabernacles – at the very least, the excitement & preparations will divert their energies from watching & waiting for the beginning of the end times. :-)

The temple was destroyed when the Romans sent Titus to crush rebellion in Judea. It seems the trumpet Titus blew was more powerful than any of Ron’s trumpets, which have amounted to nothing. When Titus’ trumpets were being blown the temple was set afire by accident or on purpose; depends on which historian you believe.

What I’m getting at is the temple was destroyed and there is nowhere to send the tithes so tithing is no longer required. Offerings for the saints are still on the books, but Ron is no saint. I was just reading something the other day which says that Ron is accursed. In Paul’s letter to the Galatians1:8-9 he said anyone who preaches a gospel other than the one delivered to us by the saints is accursed.

I’m sure every time there is a natural disaster, Ron feels elated and powerful. He doesn’t know that he is accursed, and “powerfully so” (a common Ronism).

This year there are going to be floods, earthquakes, tornados, and hurricanes. This stuff comes and goes in cycles. I’ve been watching it happen since I could see a television.

What are the odds Ron will get caught in one of these natural occurences? I bet prophet Ron would cancel a sermon engagement if things didn’t look good in the area he was to preach in. That would affect his credibility as one protected from above. If he can’t make it to a sermon location, the tithes would still come in. Even though the temple where the tithes are supposed to go, has been gone for almost 2000 years.

Chipps is a salaryman with the church, correct? Because in 2008, it came out that elders in the PKG still have to pay tithes; so unless Chipps is writing it off as a business expense (unlike the rest of the unsalaried elders, who will have to pony up themselves every time they play groupie for Rotten Ron), the trip is NOT being funded by the sheep. The Two Witlesses, however, get all expenses paid.

    Convenient, that, what?

  • Aggie says:

“This year there are going to be floods, earthquakes, tornados, and hurricanes.”

Yep. Just like he tried in 2008.

The FIRST “Great Tribulation” is almost up, Rotten Ron! Like I keep telling you and telling you and telling you, NO REBOOT RON. (And yet, you’ve pulled a Ctrl-Alt-Delete on your sheeple, what is it THREE times now??)

Oh, but maybe it’s the aliens, after all….

  • Baywolfe says:

I guess the flock isn’t supposed to watch any news on TV or on the internet. Does he not know that there was exactly one Atlantic-Caribbean-Gulf Hurricane in 2009?

2010 Western Atlantic Forecast is for the following:
    Total Storms: 15
    Landfalls: 7
    Hurricanes: 5
    Major Landfalls: 2 or 3

Or, about exactly what you’d expect. Let’s see who the greater “prophets” are. RW or AccuWeather.

  • jack635 says:

I’m sure Ron reads the 2010 WAF. He will use it for his “things will be happening soon” line he uses every spring and fall. He knows this stuff happens every year and he monopolizes upon it. He has a 50/50 chance of getting that line out within one month of a storm/quake/margarine shortage or whatever.

Afterall, he has made the cover of “Scary Times” magazine twice that I know of.

As per the court records in Greg’s divorce case:

Toward the end of this turbulent marriage, in approximately February 2008, defendant [Chipps] quit both of his jobs and took a position with the Church of God PKG, earning $36,000 per year. In this position, defendant traveled around the world proselytizing the church’s views.

So yes, Chipps is a “salaryman” for Ron. But there’s no basis for declaring that he has to pay his own travel expenses. I fully expect that PKG pays his expenses, because after all Chipps was not able to pay his court-ordered support payments out of Ron’s generous salary.

    Jack said:

Let’s not forget that Ron did not appear in Connecticut as scheduled on Feb 13, due to the blizzard conditions. This despite his Witness powers to shut up the heavens.

    Besides Galations 1, there’s also Revelation 22:18-19.
    .

  • jack635 says:

    I fully support Rev 22:18-19

Before I further comment on that I have to go to Ron’s site and seee if he has written anything about that verse.

  • jack635 says:

Not going to happen. In “Scripture Explained” it lists the sermon to listen to. I don’t have that much time. I don’t know if Ron ever explained Rev 22:18-19 but I imagine he used his usual B.S.

Without even listening to his excuse, I am sure he is guilty of Rev section 22 subsections 18 and 19. I think it might be the death penalty.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

From “Prophesied End Time”, page 20:

Notice the emphasis God places on these verses. At the end of this book it says, “For I testify unto every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He who testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:18-20).
These are strong words of warning! Notice that Jesus Christ is coming quickly. If you understand the timing and fulfillment of Revelation, then these words will greatly impact your life. And, if Jesus Christ is coming quickly, why is He coming, and to what? The plea is made even stronger by the words, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”

He didn’t really address the point, just glossed it over and went on to add to the book.

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

If you question Ronnie about any of that stuff, they tell you that God will put it in your mind (to your face), and wonder if you are called at all (behind your back).

  • Aggie says:

Kirrily, that’s status quo for a Church of God group; we did that in WCG constantly. The deacons and elders and preaching elders did it (usually by ratting on the members to the ministry) and if we didn’t rat others out, we thought it about ourselves….Nothing like “doctrine over person”, to twist you up, down, and sideways…and stop you from questioning “The One True Church”! (Although fortunately there is NO “one true church” anymore, regardless of what the 700+ splinter groups try and tell you.)

“He will use it for his “things will be happening soon” line he uses every spring and fall.”

And the sheeple STILL don’t see a problem with this picture? Wow. They’re more brainwashed than I was! (Which is saying a lot. I fully expected to see the Kingdom “in my lifetime”, just not on a definite date. And if Senior hadn’t dropped the church on its head and said “Be pagan professing Christians, and embrace everything we’ve taught you to abhor for thirty years, or don’t let the door hit you on the way out,” I would still be waiting for a Kingdom that never did, and is now never going to, come.

  • Steve says:

    In regards to the quote of Revelation 22:18-20 and all the bull that spews out of rons corrupt/deceptive mouth;

The bible can be twisted every which way to suit literally anyones belief system (and im sure deceiver ronny will have a defense for everythin) hence why there are literally millions of different interpretations of various scriptures (by individuals) and different interpretations by all the thousands upon thousands of different denominatons/cults etc out there….there is literally and undoubtedly no 100% clear path/guide in the bible…it is one heck of a confusing book…if this was not the case, then practically every believer would believe exactly the same….i mean there are tons of books that were deliberately kept out of it because it did not conform to their particular view of christ etc.
For example ..in this particular subject, when i believed in the bible i believed that the revelation scripture that has been quoted is only referring to non believers…or someone who is “willingly” breaking that commandment…because if it was someone doing it in ignorance (by accident) then this would contradict the scripture on grace (not works) and also contradict that fact that it says one can be forgiven for sins commited in ignorance. The bible is kind of like a multiverse, …literally every possibility can play itself out and everyone will be right depending what kind of nation/culture or disaster strikes. Every situation can be twisted to fit the bible….im sure the christians in Nagasaki at the time of the nuke being dropped felt it was armageddon then too…for sure

  • Atrocious says:

I agree, Steve. Heck, if I found out I had a terminal illness and only had days to live, had a car accident and totaled my car on the way home from the doctor who told me I was going to die, and then when the tow truck got me home, to find it on fire and I lost everything, not to mention my wife and child being killed in the fire (this is a fictitious scenario, by the way), it would be the end of the world for me. Nothing anyone would say, religious or otherwise, wouldn’t mean a darn thing.

The sad thing about Ron is he is abusing his sheeple with lies and promises and prophecies, etc, in the name of god for his own monetary gain. It makes me sick, disgusted, (you name it) that anyone could be that low, callused, unfeeling, conniving, and downright EVIL, to do that to his followers.

  • Whisper says:

Please remember than Ron does evil, but he IMO thinks he is doing good. Odd I know… Ron likes to believe this tripe, that he is the top man, the leader of the only people on the planet that make a difference, the “True” church. Ron loves this, believes it, and swallows his own “flavor aid”. Now, this is not to say that Ron is not a con man also attempting to carve our a comforable retirement plan beyond the life of his ministry (I know, this is a logical contradiction as his ministry states there is no “after”). He is two people, at a minium. He is megolamania Ron being the top man in Gods Church, leading the faithful, being promised the top slot in the 144,000 and beside himself with glee in being a Witness, Apostle, Elijah, etc… He is also rational Ron padding his bank accounts for retirement years, paying off his house & cars, having fun flying all over the world, buying diamond rings for the miss’s, et… He is two people and more. Well, honestly we all are but the difference with Ron is that he has taken 2 geometrically opposite stances on the same subject while most people simply take slightly different stances on the same subject. As if to add insult to injury he is improvishing, and mentally derailing, many people for his own fun (Fun as in having a following) and profitability (Profit as in building up his bank accounts). He’s doing this to have fun and have his own way, duh… (sorry, had to state the obvious there) and people are being hurt financially and mentally and spiritually for him to do it. Ron made up his mind a long long Long time ago that this way OK as he can pawn the whole thing off on God who told him to do all these good things and teach the faithful! If anything is to go wrong, it’s Gods direction that lead Ron there, not Ron himself. This will be helpful to Ron in the post-ministry years of retirement, hey it was Gods leading not mine that made all this happen. As it turns out it was all a big test for myself and the PKG to do the right thing, not that “things” did not happen – that is irrelevant in the test, just that we preformed well during the test giving money and time and thought and spirituallity to the COG-PKG, which is what God wanted. So Ron can tell the post ministry congregation that they PASSED Gods test and that the real Tribulation is still ongoing spiritually until God decides to make it a reality. In the mean time feel good about yourself, you passed a spiritual test and you are truely a good memeber of Gods Church…
The doors for Ron to open to exit his ministry with the money are many, it will be so simple and with a good chance of many of the former congretation feeling that it was correct and good and Godly as Ron goes on to live a plush retirement and they go on to look to see if social security will pay for thier next meal or not.
What a great scam with a way out that makes Ron feel good about his adventures and feeling no regret for the damage he did.

    Go figure?

  • Atrocious says:

    The perfect crime?

  • RK says:

    “The perfect crime?”

Oh boy, I think your onto something there, Atrocious.

In fact, come to think of it, this comes about as close to a perfect crime as it can get.

One can scam the socks off of people, and the authorities can’t do anything because of freedom of religion. That’s about as perfect as any evildoer would ever want.

  • Aggie says:

“…he has taken 2 geometrically opposite stances on the same subject…”

Otherwise known as cognitive dissonance: The true believer’s last, best hope, for maintaining sanity in the face of the truly insane.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Shoplifters, burglars, bank robbers — but to really rake in the dough, you need to be a religious leader. Besides which you don’t have to fear legal repercussions.

  • Rambo says:

I wish Ron would update his blog and at least give us something to chew on.

Why aren’t the leading ministers of the other COG splinters dieing like he said they would?
Why isn’t Ron gaining publicity in the world like he said would happen?
Where are the thousands that are supposed to be flocking to PKG?
Why is the second trumpet being delayed so long?
Why would the Bible specifically carve out 1335 days if nothing noticable was going to happen in the first half of it?
Why doesn’t Ron have supernatural witness powers?
Why is God letting people in his “one true Church” suffer with illnesses and die?
Where is all the money going?

I just wish he would give some straight, simple answers, that’s all.

  • Atrocious says:

He’s never going to give straight, simple answers as long as the answers (or non-answers) are working for his gain. As long as he can side-step the issues and give vague generalizations, blame the followers and continue to say he is speaking for his god, and his followers keep forking over their money as a “sacrifice for the ‘work of god’”, he will continue as is. Why would he change? Why would he WANT to change? It’s working! He’s rich, they’re poor, he’s got power, they give him power, he’s worshiped and idolized, etc. He’s Lex Luther. Hmmm, I think I’ll call him “Lex” from now on. Hee hee.

  • Steve says:

Nah…Lex is way smarter than ronny…ron has no logical thought processes, lex is very logical ;)

  • Doubt It says:

“Why doesn’t Ron have supernatural witness powers?”

Did you see what he did to touchdown Jesus!? Less than 50 miles from his own house!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAAj1OiH-WA

  • Atrocious says:

Yeah, you’re right, Steve. Lex is WAY smarter. But the evilness is pretty close, don’t you think?

  • Whisper says:

“Why is the second trumpet being delayed so long?”

Second trumpet nothing, when will the 1st TRUMPET sound accourding to Ron’s own writen book????????????????
No 1st TRUMPET sounded yet, the $$ downfall was a lame excuse offered in place of the actual answer. I’m a-still looking for dead plant matter in America specifically on such a huge scale (1/3 of all of it) that America would simply implode… 10′s of millions would die.

“Why would the Bible specifically carve out 1335 days if nothing noticable was going to happen in the first half of it?”

Good question, the GT goes on and on and on… with nothing great about it. Now day to day life throughout history has been tribulating, as is life in general, but nothing greater than normal, no devistating continent wide plaugues – deaths – wars – cultural meltdowns – etc… Lets see April 2008 kick-off of a 3-1/2 year GT, so 42 months total and we are in month #26, 61% complete and nothing significant to show for it? Even slapstick Timeline #2 is now 18 months old making it 43% complete and still nothing… I have forgotten the date when Ron chopped the limit of time down on Timeline #2, but nothing has happened since that occurance as well.

Ron is not in explanation mode now, he is in boring drivel mode. Whatever happened to that wayward prophet of doom anywho with his far left field sayings and reorganization of the bible that he butchered so? I’ll tell ya, he’s awaiting for a trumpet or thunder to really happen, just one, so he can jump up and told everyone he told us so. But he’s not going to do anything rash, well rash for Ron anyway, until then and then may never happen unless a competing COG minister falls dead by chance…

    Go figure?

  • jack635 says:

I think the last few sermons I have listened to, Ron doesnt mention his book 2008 GFW anymore. I wonder why?

  • Baywolfe says:

    jack,

Because it’s an unreadable steaming pile of horse excrement? Just guessing…

I actually forced myself to sit down and re-read the whole thing not too long ago. It wasn’t any better than the first time. You can tell that he desperately wants to be HWA. The whole smug tone of the book almost makes you want to puke. It’s just a rehash of every WCG doom and gloom pamphlet most of us have read at one time or another, taking scriptures out of context and proof-texting, mixing in a little modern references so that it all doesn’t seem as stale as it really is.

I’m guessing he’ll keep the flock strung along as long as he can. Maybe he drank his own Kool-Aid at one time, but I think he’s started to sip from the cup of reality.

  • Atrocious says:

“Maybe he drank his own Kool-Aid at one time, but I think he’s started to sip from the cup of reality.”

Ron? Sipping from the cup of reality? Never! He will die first than to ever admit that he was wrong. Why, reality is so far from his delusions and his ego is so huge, I doubt that reality will ever be in his equation.

Jack, how could you read that book again? I couldn’t even read it the first time. It stank too bad. Kudos to you, though. Heh.

  • Aggie says:

“Second trumpet nothing, when will the 1st TRUMPET sound accourding to Ron’s own writen book????????????????”

By June 8, 2008, according to Ron’s own words.

    That good enough?

    (Where is Mal lately, anyway?)

  • Aggie says:

To see the screenshots used in the video, of the PKG website and its first/second timelines, click here (Timeline One) and here (Timeline Two).

  • jack635 says:

Jack, how could you read that book again?

I never read it. I read one or two paragraphs from a chapter I picked from the table of contents. I saw his google ad on one of my sites and checked it out. After downloading the book and reading a little I knew he was not a true christian because he declared himself a prophet. Then I listened to one of his sermons. I could tell what kind of person he was in the first minute by the tone of his voice. He is false. I can even say that he is anti Christ.

Preachers have a habit of being false. That’s why we have the bible. It does not ask us for money. It just keeps getting published. I am glad I read it BEFORE I started listening to what “preachers” are saying. I think most preachers have a God Complex. Or they are very bold con artists.

  • Atrocious says:

Ooops, sorry, Jack. I should have addressed that comment to Baywolfe…he’s the one who said it. So, I’ll ask that question again, only with the right person this time.

Baywolfe, how could you read that book again? I couldn’t even read it the first time. It stank too bad. Kudos to you, though. Heh.

    Atrocious,

Only via the power of the jaundiced X-COG’er eye, could I even stomach it. I think I did it to remind myself how brainwashed I was to believe it all when HWA wrote, essentially, the same words. It was like, “See, I’m not imagining it, this really is bulls**t!” I repeat what I’ve stated before, if Ron’s god truly exists, I can’t jump into the Lake O’Fire fast enough!

Saturday, June 26th Toronto is the G20 Summit – Ronnie plans to be in TO that Saturday – perhaps he is hoping for a last minute invite to the economic sit-down
(Toronto is a huge city – many parts of which are far removed from the downtown core where the Summit is to be held)

One thing that Ronnie has in common with many of the summit attendees is the ability to spend other people’s money – The cost for the security of this event is staggering –

I can’t help but wonder if Ronnie will have his own spin on why he is in Toronto on that particular day – perhaps he planned this date in the event to be invited back to a possible re-run of Moses Znaimer’s Idea City – Remember how Ronnie flopped at that one this time last year

Or perhaps he will spin it about the economy – How the bible talks about 1/3 vegetation burning up – how Ronnie goes from vegetation to $$ is a real leap of imagination

  • Atrocious says:

Especially since most countries on this planet don’t have green money. I have a friend who collects paper currency of the world, past and present, and not very many of them are green. Yes, Debbie, he’s got quite an imagination.

“Saturday, June 26th Toronto is the G20 Summit – Ronnie plans to be in TO that Saturday “

Good luck with that! The city is going to be an effin’ mess! Never mind the money wasted on security (CBC Radio employees have complained on-air that they require passports to get into their own building to go to work), the whole thing about Fake-Lake-Gate…ah, it’s all smoke and mirrors, diverting us away from the REAL topics that we should be discussing about the G20 (like why some nations are invited, and others aren’t, and why, of all the billions of dollars the G20 controls, world poverty and world hunger, not to mention wars, still exist. Instead, we get the media filled with reports of fake lakes and questioning the spending of MUNICIPAL government in the city where it’s being held. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

    So is Weinland.
