The Radio Church of Ron

Over the past several years, False Prophet Ronald Weinland has conducted a number of interviews on single-market talk shows to promote his books.  He had an interview a few weeks ago, but refuses to post an audio of it claiming that it’s boring. (Ron, I don’t mind — listening to your sermon last Saturday was the epitome of boring).  He also was interviewed on Toronto radio as part of promoting his appearance at Moses Znaimer’s ideaCity last June, but no audio of this is available either.

The last interview audio of Weinland available on the Internet was conducted over a year ago, on March 6, 2009 on WLW’s Mike McConnell radio program.  It is available as an 18 MB MP3 download from the WLW website.

At about 4 minutes into the interview, we have this exchange:

Mike: What happened December 14th? (of 2008)
Ron: December 14th was when the first trumpet of the last 7 trumpets was blown.  There are 7 trumpets that are going to be blown, the second one is when nukular devices will go off in this country.  And even back then, just before April I told you in that particular interview that we would have a period of about 45 to 90 days.  That also has changed.  That has been extended to possibly up to a year.  It’s going to depend upon how people respond this year. …. We have a period of time in this country, we are going down the tubes.

Then about 14 minutes later at the end of the interview, Ron started backpedaling when Mike set out to confirm this — which is fast even for RRonLauraon.

Mike: When’s the next event that I can look for that might fall into line with your belief system here?
Ron: Well, it’ll be nukular weapons going off here in major cities in the United States.
Mike: Within a year.
Ron: I’m not going to give you a time frame.
Mike: You said God might give us as much as a year.
Ron:  That’s right.  He might give you as much as a year.  He might give you a little bit more.  It depends on your response.

Mike McConnell did respond to Ron, and we must all thank him because due to his response, God gave us a little bit more than a year, so far.  And I suspect he’ll give us even more.

So Sunday was the expiration of yet another prophecy.  And last month was the refailure of yet another.  In his book, Weinland prophesied the downfall of the US no later than June 21 of last year (6 months after the fall season of 2008).  Later Weinland stated that the 8-month delay of his 1335-day timeline from Feb 2 until Sept 30, 2008 changed everything.  Eight months after June 21, 2009, actually 241 days later, was Feb 17, just a few weeks ago.

Are there any readers who live in the Cincinnati area who could call in and suggest to Mike that he have Weinland back on to talk about his prophecies? (WLW contact page).  Maybe Mike could discuss some of Ron’s extra-curricular activities and new titles with him.

Im a bit confused…maybe cuz im tired but anyhow…does this mean Rons 2nd timeline for the nukulars has failed…or is there a future deadline?….i don’t keep upto date too much with his boring ramblings. Havent listened to his sermons for well over a year.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

All of Ron’s timelines have failed. :-D I’m just showing how he keeps shifting out the deadlines. IIRC, the current deadline for the 5th trumpet (foreign occupation of the US) is August of next year, delayed from no later than June 21 of last year. He’ll have shifted the deadline yet again by summer of next year.

  • Steve says:

Ahh ok thanks Mike lol :)

I would think that Ron, being he’s “the spokesman witness” would be buying time on all the major radio stations for his “interviews” so all the world could hear his “proclamations”. But, alas, instead he’s burying them under the guise of “being boring”, which means he has nothing meaningful to say and it’s all a sham. He’s a piece of work, he is.

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

I think it would be great if an interviewer asked Ron to do an interview, under the premise that he is who he says he is (Ron would get a false sense of security) – only to then HAMMER him.

Ron would either hang up, or just make such an idiot out of himself – either way, it would be TORTURE for the man, and a great amusement for us!!

  • Aggie says:

Ah, yes, Ron and the radio are mutually exclusive bedfellows at the moment. Why? Let’s let the EDGE AM DJ explain it “clearly” for us:

  • Mark says:

Ron has jumped the shark- over a year ago.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Try 4 years ago, in November of ’95 when he let loose that he was one of the Two Witnesses. Unfortunately most of his church jumped with him.

  • Aggie says:

LOL @ at the 2 Witlesses jumping the shark. Yeah, that’s about the size of it, isn’t it?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Atrocious said: “I would think that Ron, being he’s “the spokesman witness” would be buying time on all the major radio stations for his “interviews” so all the world could hear his “proclamations”.”

I would think that the Two Witnesses could use their Witness Powers to gain free publicity, by calling down a plague or turning water to blood on live TV. Or maybe even breathing fire on a mocker :-D

But Ron disdains such cheap tricks, preferring to let us recognize that he truly is an End-Time Witness the hard way, by being destroyed by one of the Trumpets. Will it be the 1st Trumpet, blown over a year ago but which has been spiritualized from actual green vegetation to US green currency? Or will it be the 2nd trumpet, which was to manifest 45-90 days after the first? Or will it be the 5th trumpet, which was to have manifested no later than June 21 of last year? Inquiring minds want to know!!!

  • Whisper says:

The first trumpet destroying the “green” money did a rather poor job. Oh, money is now hard put struggeling against the recession, but it’s been worse and that is what a “Great Tribulation” is, by definition mind you, to be exactly.
Money has rebounded since its deepest fall this recession and while it might fall again, it’s actually on the very slow mend. It’s the lack of JOBS that makes this recession dark and horrible!
Rather pathetic trumpet blast. Of course the second blast was even more laughable as it did not appear even spiritually in Rons description…

    Go figure?

  • Atrocious says:

Since the “Two Witnesses” have “witness powers” (NOT!) they don’t need money, they don’t need planes, they don’t need anything! They should be able to do whatever they feel needs to be done with their power. They should be able to fly, appear and disappear and appear again, breathe fire, smite enemies, etc etc etc. There wouldn’t be a need for a “following” because they would be “witnessing” to the whole world through supernatural means. They can do NONE of those things. In fact, they can’t even do what other people CAN do. About the only thing they’re good at is taking money and using it for their own luxurious purposes, lying through their teeth, manipulating, brainwashing, threatening, mocking their own people, etc etc etc.

It would be laughable if it wasn’t so criminal.

    Atrocious,
I totally agree with your comment. If Ron was a prophet, his God-given power would allow him to do the things you mentioned. His lack of power demonstrates his prophetship is of his own imagination, and not from an all powerful God. If he is a prophet, his god is powerless, impotent, and a liar. Ron cannot use the power of his own mind to even change a traffic light from red to green.

He does have the power to cash cheques and buy a ticket to fly anywhere he desires to go. But he does not have the power to preach any message from God. Interestingly enough, he has pretty well stopped prophecying in order to carry out the duties of his new office of “apostle”. What those duties are I haven’t a clue.
