I had a little fun with my speculation. Turns out I wasn’t completely out of the ballpark (see my next post). Laura’s status did change — she’s no longer the only ordained female in PKG. And she does have a new title — she’s a prophet, not a prophetess. As for whether my speculation is totally wrong, give it time. If Ronnie can change and delay, then so can I

Actually, that’s in Acts chapter 1. And it’s not too clear from Acts that’s a requirement to be an apostle.

But not arguing in Ron’s favor. The burden of proof is on him, and so far he’s given nothing besides his statement of claim.

All of these folks seem to skip through Acts and other NT locations to support their position of divinely ordained, end-time Apostle, but conveniently miss the Biblical requirements for apostleship in Acts 2:21-22: “Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” Neither Herbert Armstrong nor Ron Weinland fulfill these requirements.
