I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in Las Vegas @ that elders meeting - I can only imagine that meeting may have arranged due to the absence of Trumpet #1 & the delay of Trumpet #2 - the sheeples getting restless - Ronnie would need to give instructions to the elders to keep them in line - he would want to make sure that his government (authority) was being adhered to. I think back to the Spring of 2008 when Ronnie was so urgent in his ordaining of elders & providing them with Laptops - all due to the great numbers of people who would be drawn for Baptism at that time - Just like his prophecies - It Didn't Happen. This kinda jumped out at me - Ronnie was telling all to prepare for the Feast of Tabernacles 2010 by putting aside their 2nd tithe - then after some blather about meeting halls etc. - Ronnie said they (members) may be instructed to send their 2nd tithe in should the Feast not be a go for some reason or other - Hmmm - And how there would be no assistance for members 'cuz all the $$$ was going to advertising - It would be interesting to know how much $$$ goes to pay for Ron & Laura's jet-setting around the world lifestyle - Hmmm - Double standard at work again. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Ron's whole problem is that he wants a REPUTATION and does not have one? The 6th thunder was supposed to remedy all that but there was a technical glitch in the system... said glitch being Ron's inability to prophecy! So Ron does not have a reputation except in a very very small communitie with a rather low tithe base in comparison to what Ron could gain with such REPUTATION. All for the best, God is good and keeps Ron on a back burner for the sake of the many. Now if only the very few could escape his clutch? But a basic problem with such "escape" is that many of those very few want to be so trapped and without a Ron to trap them they would quite possibly wander off to find a new prison master... Such is the problem with COG. Reputation on the line?
