Hi Mike, Just so you know, there have been about 20 earthquakes over 2.5 every day for years, long before 2005 and Ron’s predictions. Check out this link

In 2008, well after his “If by Pentecost” declaration on March 29, 2008, Weinland advised members that they could ask for their money back, IF they had given any funds over and above their 10% 1T, and IF they asked for it before Pentecost. Also see Notes on RW May 3, 2008 sermon, “April 17th”. (The title of the May 3, 2008 sermon refers to the April 19, 2008 sermon, “It Has Begun”, when Weinland & Wife “began their job” — the first time. A tactic they revisited on Dec 14, 2008, during Timeline Two.

Apparently, Weinland made the offer to return money May 3, 2008, because family members of a PKG member agitated, after money was sent to the church that was supposed to have been spent on “education”. Didn’t say whether it was the kid’s education, or the spouse’s, but the church ended up sending about $3K back, at least according to Ron. (Who ya gonna believe?)

Of course, any funds that were given as part of the member’s 1T was off-limits, because that was God’s money, and Weinland could do with that money as he saw fit. Yes, he really did say that, and yes this is a common perspective in the Churches of God. (Which is just about the only place Weinland has not departed from Armstrongist doctrine.)

I note he hasn’t made any such offers this year. But with the lawyers circling the wagons to try and stave off an extended stay in Club Fed, the Witless Weinlands have to milk the sheeple for all it’s worth, while they still can.

That’s exactly what I was getting at.

When Ron said that the “thunders were a matter of his own choosing”, I wondered if he would be so bold as to actually claim some kind of responsibility for a particular disaster.

“RK, Weinland tried that in 2008 with the earthquakes.” And that answers what I was wondering.

All I can say to that is “Wow”, the more I learn about RW, the more I realize that he is even more crazy than I thought.

There was no 1st Trumpet, it was declared by a scared mean little man who wants so desperatly for history to happen as he dictates. But history listens not to delusional little men, it has it’s own path as shown above in contrast to Rons desires.

At different times, Ron has explained that his radio show interviews are planting a seed — after his predicted disasters come about he would be called back for more interviews and get free publicity. But it didn’t turn out that way, and he’s had to spend (according to him) hundreds of thousands of $$$ on Google advertising. So much for the 6th thunder.

It’s been so long now, that all these radio show hosts have forgotten this kook. So if a major disaster happened, he’d have to call and remind them.
