Oyag, how are you able to believe that Weinland is a true prophet when not every one of the following people is dead:
– Rod Meredith
– Richard Ames
– Gerald Flurry
– David Pack
– John Ritenbaugh
Actually, not even one of them is dead.

If you don’t know who these people are, they are notable deaths mentioned on page 107-108 of his last book, in the chapter titled “The Seven Thunders of the 6th Seal“

In response to Rk on Ron Weinland being a true prophet. Being a very overly cautious person I have been listening to all of the sermons and reading, along with much praying for wisdom and understanding, everything that I can to attempt to gain knowledge and understanding. I have also been reading much of the writings that are against him and the church. Yes, I would say that I do believe that he is.

The Bible is so confusing, that the likelyhood of two sincere individuals coming up with the same interpretation is improbable. And each would consider the other insincere.

This is particularly true with Revelation which is full of symbolism. Let’s take Rev 12:14:

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The very second you try to interpret the symbolism of a woman with two wings of a great eagle, you are adding to the book of Revelation and the penalties of Rev 22:18 apply.

You’re right, that different religions add and take away from what is in the Bible to satisfy their beliefs.

But are you saying that Ron Weinland is a true prophet of God?

So then I guess you would have to define the word sincere. What is it that one does that makes them sincere in their belief of who God is and what the bible says. Is it what they do according to what the bible says or is it how they interpret it? Yes, there are many differing beliefs, but it does say in Revelations that you are not to add to or take away anything in the bible and if you research different religions you will find this to be what they do in order to satisfy their beliefs and not what is said.
