Ron’s “Truth” 50 Dot 1

diningThose few in attendance at the PKG feast site in Rye, VIC had a special meal after Johnny’s boring sermon in the morning.  After the meal, False Prophet Ronald Weinland started his highly anticipated and oft-advertised Last Great Day sermon by bemoaning how rapidly the last four days had elapsed.  Normally it would have been twice as long except for Ron’s cutting it in half.  There was also a  “Hi Mom” moment as Ron greeted his mother Ramona Weinland who is attending at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Ron has trimmed more than the length of time for feast attendance.  He has trimmed the length of a “time” from 360 days down to 280 days, which at 40 x 7 is a sign of God’s judgment and mercy .  The revised “time, times, and half-a-time” (or 980 days = 3.5 x 280 days) did not begin until the Monday following Trumpets of this year, and ends not at Pentecost of 2012, but rather the day before. {See my following post for an explanation of this edit}

Ron both raised and lowered expectations.  He mentioned that earthquake activity is increasing. But then Ron said that the European beast power might not arise until August of 2011, and China might not become prominent in his prophecy until 2012.  Deputy Wayne, have you found that job yet?

Ron is pulling out all his tricks to keep his second timeline alive and to hang onto his deluded followers and their tithe checks.

I prophesy yet another revelation from Ron on Feb 6, 2010, which is half-a-reduced-time from Trumpets of 2009.

One time that hasn’t shortened has been the length of my quick death, now 280 days plus another 13 since Ron pronounced his death curse on me.

So, lets see if heretic me can understand the workings of a True Prophet of God?
The time used to be 3.5 x 360 = 1260 as found in many a biblical church or biblical thought process.
But, now that is not the case, even though I seem to remember Ron using the 1260 days as a constant as well for years on end, and Ron has revised the dates to 280.
So the constant 3.5 has not changed but the time of each multiplication has, down from 360 to 280.
This allows Ron to mathmatically shorten the time frame of his prophecy and allows him to simply, with his mathmatical scisors, cut off all the time from December 2008 to now, which has been a real disapointment for ol Ron, ergo starting the the “effects” of the Great Tribulation (that has not been so Great up to now) now. Thereby giving Ron yet another chance at being able to prophecy with accuracy, yet another chance…
So it’s realy that easy, when the stated prophecy does not happen and you are proved false you simply change the math of “time” and you get yet another chance.
If your gonna break the “time” rule once there is no limit on breaking this rule so it can begin over and over again into eternity…

So are all the prophecies that Ron made supposed to “now” happen in the right timeline? Do we again have 90 days maximum till America Falls or is that prophecy now defunct due to Rons dispensing it because it did not happen in the right amount of time? Do all the prophecies come back now into this new time line (#3 for the Ho’s at home) or only the ones Ron so chooses to allow back in after his shrugged them off due to failure?

This is lame, how many of the delusional will follow this? It becomes more and MORE obvious every time Ron gives himself more time by revising the math that there is no end to this. If worst comes to worst and Pentecost of 2012 comes to close with no accuracy of prophecy he will simply mathmatically move the end time as well, elongate it, etc…
How much can a semi-sane mind actually “suck up” of a deluded follower?
As I’ve always known, DESIRE trumps REALITY every time.
    Oh well…

It will be hard to promote the book “2008 – God’s Final Witness” now I guess.

  • jack635 says:

“the European beast power might not arise until August of 2011”

That’s Ron’s Great Shortening? I feel like I’ve just discovered my investment certificates are not recognised by any bank, and my financial advisor’s phone has been disconnected. Ron has really disappointed me with his “greater understanding”. He could have told us this useless information weeks ago.

Is this the same beast power that crushed the U.S. in late 2008, leaving the world in shock and horror?
I have not yet listened to the sermon. But I am about to.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

“2008 – God’s Final Witness” is past it’s shelf life, and stinking mightily. Perhaps they’ll come out with the 2010 edition, changing at least the last page of the book to read:
“By the fall of 20082011, the United States will have collapsed as a world power, or it will have begun its collapse and no longer exist as an independent nation within six months after that time.”

  • Steve says:

I just remembered an interview on a radio show back in late 2007 or early 08 that was on his “the-end” website, and Ron said (about the FIRST time line) that “in April (2008) there will be communications problems, that’s for sure” ….he meant “globally” in relation to his prophecies.

Oh yeah Mike…didn’t you know that Ron only named it 2008 to make the mockers mock more in order for us to “seal our destiny in hell” thus fulfilling his prophecies about the mockers getting worse lol…..what he actually named the book (in spirit) was 2011 Gods final witness (or whatever date somethin significant happens that he can twist into his already twisted false prophecies)….but when nothin happens then also, then that date was also so the mockers would fulfil his prophecy and thus keep movin the dates up until he is dead and the followers penniless.

Ron is truly a piece of trash…i would use another word but i don’t think it is allowed here?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

I do know a few more words than I’ve exercised here, and on occasion have uttered them when sufficiently provoked. But I do try to keep the blog “family friendly”. 😉

I don’t remember him prophesying global communications problems of his prophecies. Seems to me that would contradict both his 6th and 7th thunders. On second thought, we haven’t seen his 6th and 7th thunders manifested — if anything rather the opposite.

What a clever, nasty fellow: trapping mockers by issuing prophecies that fail to materialize. 😀

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

I remember that interview that Steve is talking about. The interviewer said that IF the things Ron was speaking about happened in 2008, would he come back to do another interview – and something was said about phone lines and maybe not being able to get in contact. Ron said that it would ‘be more difficult that’s for sure’.

    Something to that effect anyway.

I still can’t believe all the blather in his sermon about times and math – what garbage – and what a reach, even for Ron.

My guess? At this stage – I don’t think he will lose any followers. If they are still there now, they’ll still be there at the end – whatever that end may be.

  • Atrocious says:

Sheep being led to the slaughter. Swine falling over the cliff. Zombies going on without power of thought. Just mindless stupidity.

  • Karen Mustard says:

What a LAME prophet! Can you imagine if the prophets of the bible did this? It would be funny if it weren’t so tragic! A prophet of God says….”this could happen…or that could happen…and that will happen, but if it doesn’t happen, then it means this, but it will possibly take place here, or maybe there…” What are the “believers” to think?? I hope it the listeners have ears to hear and start looking “elsewhere” … starting here!

  • angel says:

Maybe he’ll employ the “parable defense”. Jesus told parables so unbelievers wouldn’t understand what He was talking about (because of their hard hearts), and had to explain the parables to the disciples. Wouldn’t that work fabulously for RW? He could say his book is really a parable; written that way so the mockers can’t understand it, and he will now explain what it REALLY means to his followers. Using the year 2008 was just to throw the mockers off track.

Raise your hand if you think his followers would fall for that. Mine’s up!

  • AggieAtheist says:

Kirrily, the radio interviewer actually responded to Ron’s refusals to come back on the program, after the failure of the first timeline.

  • Deb says:

All I can say is “Lunch bag letdown”- Ronald must have stayed up many a night playing with the numbers to come up with that one – He could have at least juiced it up a bit and made it more interesting.

I don’t know which is worse – this bogus “new information” or the thought of two more years of Ron’s ho-hum blathering. He fancies himself as quite an author – perhaps he will be writing another book – If not one of more prophecy, maybe his autobiography.

This scenario is a win-win for Ronald and his followers – Ronald gets his needs met – by being able to continue as the #1 spokesman, witness and prophet, his overblown ego continues to get stroked & he & #2 can continue their lifestyle of living high and travelling and not having to do any real work – The followers continue to get their needs met – they are the special called out ones and now have more time to fellowship and meet together while they continue to watch and wait for the end time. Maybe next year they will be allowed a full week of the Feast.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

This LGD sermon was different in one respect from the ones in ’07 and ’08: Ron did not announce that there would be not FOT assembly next year.

  • Mark says:

Ron the Yawn. Could we have such a profound modern day profit without the invention of the calculator?

  • RK says:

If there’s anybody out there who is paying tithes to Ron Weinland, and you happen to have a look at this website (just in case) I’ve got a prophesy for YOU.

When you finally come to realize (only a matter of time) that Ron is a fraud, well, here’s the prophesy: YOUR’E NOT GOING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!! And as it all starts to sink in, you’re gonna feel real bad.

Meanwhile, get some pictures of the following people (they’re on the Internet) ELLEN WHITE, JOSEPH SMITH, CHARLES RUSSELL, HERBERT ARMSTRONG, “REVEREND” SUN MYUNG MOON, and RON WEINLAND, just to name a few.

Now put all the pictures in front of you, and have a GOOD, LONG, look at them.

And maybe, some of those light bulbs that currently aren’t working, will start to shine.

  • J says:

Aww man, all the weeks of anticipation for some juicy goodness, and we get this colossal letdown. This is the “Phantom Menace” of biblical prophesy. Or at least the “Godfather Part III” of biblical prophesy.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

J, I wish all the PKGers were similarly impressed as you and I. But somehow I rather doubt it. 🙁

  • Whisper says:

Rons “timeline” used to be so simple, first the thunders (in order) then the 7th seal (on a specific date) then the Trumpets (in order) and that was that.
But now it has become so very confusing that the book no longer jibes with the ongoing drame.
One needs a score card for all the different timelines, begining’s of the 1260 (now 980) date of Daniel, and which of Rons spoken prophecies are still valid and which he has thrown out.
And even with all this it will get more complicated still as his newest layout will begin to have problems and more explanations / rules will be invented to circumnavigate the failures…
What a tangled web… Ron must be truely miserable living in it.

  • J says:

I’m sure the typical PKGer response would be:

“Oh, of course a “time” is 280 days! The more Weinland changes, the more proof that he is speaking with God! There must be sin in my life which prevented me from figuring this out sooner.”

  • Dennis says:

Actually time has been compressed with the near light speed velocity of prophecy now. The closer and faster we get to the light, the more compressed time and space so that it will only appear that Ron is not moving at all. It’s an enigma wrapped in sandwich, with mayo and a pickle.

  • Matt says:

How disappointing. I always expect that something really clever will happen, but I guess you don’t need clever to keep the meat-puppets dancing. That is the really insulting part about ron and his little scam. Those people are being duped, messed around, have their whole lives sucked up into this vortex of ronnies endlessly inflatable ego and bank account, and it isn’t even a clever scam. He doesn’t even have the decency to set up a smart, sophisticated system – he just tugs them along by their desire to feel safe and righteous, endlessly. It shows a deep contempt from his fellow human beings. He really does feel he is a god and that all the mortals around him are infinitely beneath him. Nauseating.

  • J says:

That sounds about right. He has seriously lost steam in the past six months, but his followers’ resolve is not reduced. His sermons used to be outrageous and inflammatory, but now they bore us to tears (more than before).

Why come up with intricate and convoluted “prophecy” when you can get the same results with far less effort? He’s probably quite happy with himself that he can string everybody along with just minor details.

  • AggieAtheist says:

So does anyone know what the elder over on Jack’s blog is yammering about?

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

    Hi Aggie – wouldn’t have a clue – but I am having fun teasing him/her!! 😉

  • Kirrily XPKG says:

Guess I should tease people that drink poison – but hell, I just feel like it.

  • Wise Protector says:

August 2011!!!!!!!!!!! That just shows you how thick the wool is that has been pulled over his eyes. The beast is given power for 42 months Rev.13:5. The beast starts just a couple of months into the tribulation because shortly after the seventh trumpet his power is taken away. The beast cannot start a year before the end time of 2012 that Ron has predicted. The spirit he is following has shore near sited him.

  • oyagf12 says:

Maybe someone can tell me which side Daniel 12 verse 10 refers to, The Church of God PKG and Ronald Weinland or the people mocking him ?

  • RK says:

That’s very insightful of you, oyagf12.

And while it definately WOULDN’T be right to say that the members of Ron’s church are wicked, it can SURELY be said that neither Ron nor his members understand.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

The Bible is in the public domain. Besides that, it’s a very versatile book and it can be made to say anything you want it to. For example Ron defining a “time” to be 280 days.

So I’ll say that it refers to both Weinland and his mockers. Wicked Weinland and his wise mockers. And the Church of God – PKG in included strictly with the meaning as Ron has stated that there are no members and it most likely is a corporation sole consisting only of the spokesman witness. Just to make it clear, the rank and file PKG members are not mentioned there.

  • oyagf12 says:

I guess that it comes down to what your perception of God is and if what is said about him in the bible is truly from him. No matter how man interprets it or changes it if you believe God is truly who he says he is and you continually ask him for guidance doesn’t he lead you to what is true and what is not true ?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Experience suggests otherwise. Else there wouldn’t be so many differing beliefs, even among the sincere.

  • oyagf12 says:

So then I guess you would have to define the word sincere. What is it that one does that makes them sincere in their belief of who God is and what the bible says. Is it what they do according to what the bible says or is it how they interpret it? Yes, there are many differing beliefs, but it does say in Revelations that you are not to add to or take away anything in the bible and if you research different religions you will find this to be what they do in order to satisfy their beliefs and not what is said.

  • RK says:

    oyagf12,

You’re right, that different religions add and take away from what is in the Bible to satisfy their beliefs.

But are you saying that Ron Weinland is a true prophet of God?

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

The Bible is so confusing, that the likelyhood of two sincere individuals coming up with the same interpretation is improbable. And each would consider the other insincere.

This is particularly true with Revelation which is full of symbolism. Let’s take Rev 12:14:

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The very second you try to interpret the symbolism of a woman with two wings of a great eagle, you are adding to the book of Revelation and the penalties of Rev 22:18 apply.

  • oyagf12 says:

In response to Rk on Ron Weinland being a true prophet. Being a very overly cautious person I have been listening to all of the sermons and reading, along with much praying for wisdom and understanding, everything that I can to attempt to gain knowledge and understanding. I have also been reading much of the writings that are against him and the church. Yes, I would say that I do believe that he is.

  • Mike (DDTFA) says:

Oyag, how are you able to believe that Weinland is a true prophet when not every one of the following people is dead:
    — Rod Meredith
    — Richard Ames
    — Gerald Flurry
    — David Pack
    — John Ritenbaugh
Actually, not even one of them is dead.

If you don’t know who these people are, they are notable deaths mentioned on page 107-108 of his last book, in the chapter titled “The Seven Thunders of the 6th Seal
