Jesus, Herbie, Ron, & the IRS
On the second day of the Feast of Tabernacles in rainy Rotorua, False Prophet Ronald Weinland continued with the second part of his “Family” series. Mostly boring and a repeat of part 1, but a few interesting tidbits were dropped.
It seems that back in the WCG heyday, Ron encountered strife between the Canadian and the US ministurds. Brothers Ephraim Vs. Manasseh, continuing the battles of 1812 even in God’s church.
Ron took some time discussing the situation in Afghanistan and how opium production has increased since 2001. Talked about the warlords: “Just destroy it. We wouldn’t dream of going in there and destroying their cash crops. And that’s the first thing we should do. Just go in there with the planes, with the bombs. We have the bombs, just incinerate their poppies, ya know. Hypocrisy of people, hypocrisy of government.” If Ron were president, our B-52 fleet would be working overtime carpet bombing the world.
He meandered to the story of the crucifixion of Christ. Pilate didn’t want to kill Jesus, but his hand was forced by the Jews, who framed an innocent man.
“Here’s someone who’s innocent …. and they look for false witnesses. They try to find people who would bear and give false witness. We have that taking place today in the church. Some who would like to find some to bear false witness against the church. Because if they can find them they think they have a case, they can do something against the church, against me. What a sick world we live in. Mr. Armstrong had to put up with those things for a long time. They don’t know who they’re messing around with. They’re messing around with God. But human beings don’t understand that. And there are certain things that God allows in his plan. That’s why I know full well exactly how it’s going to come down. And the only one that’s going to be given any power isn’t until the very end. Ya know. So God’s made it very clear — you’ve got a full open field, to say whatever you want to say, how strong you want to say it. And you’re going to have some teeth to put into it.”
Feeling a bit uncomfortable with how close the IRS criminal investigation is getting, Ron? Wrap yourself up with Jesus and Herbie to prepare the membership to rally behind you against the instrument of Satan. Get ready to spin like it’s 1979. Ron, if you know how it’s going to turn out, please share in detail so I can update my speculated timeline for the IRS criminal investigation of you. And exactly when is God going to give your 41-week-old death curse against me some teeth? Oh, I see. It “isn’t until the very end.”

Lemme guess, the Canuckleheads were too “liberal”, amirite? We had quite a few “liberals” (the word’s in quotes, because they were still Armstrongists; in church parlance, they would probably have been considered moderates or quasi-conservatives, in retrospect), but that was offset by the hard-core Armstrongist fundamentalism of the ordained lay-ministry.
It was pretty much a 50-50 split, in Canadian congregations; if the lay-ministry was liberal, Pasadena sent out a hard-liner, to “get the church back on TRACK”; if the lay-ministry were constantly whining, whinging, and reporting dissidents, liberals, and Laodiceans to Headquarters, Pasadena would send out a “liberal” pastard, to try and do I don’t know what? Keep things on an even keel? I’m not even sure anymore, but that’s exactly how congregational hierarchies were structured, north of the 49th……
The excerpted quote above looks to me like he’s heading down the “beat the sheep” to lead them into self-recrimination as a failure for the first and second, and now a third, timelines. Sounds like he may have quite a few “murmurings” in the rank and file, as well.
Oh, and for the record, all those “moderate” Canadian ministurds that Rotten Ron so disagreed with? Are now jumping up and down on the bandwagon for Jebus. Watch it there, boys, some of those planks are starting to look a little rotten…..

Well, there ya go, Church = Ron, Ron = Church. The partitionars of said church are not relevant, they are but sheep, glassy eyed and way to interested in feeding themeselves to pay attention to the great power plays that Ron has to attend to. What a load…

Ya, if they are “messing around” with the church, which equals Ron, then they are messing around with God. Message: Don’t mess around with Ron because Ron is the very “Face man” of God and if you dare to mess around with Ron your messing with God and ergo your Gonna Get it buddy!
Delusion is a heady cup and oh how the cup has been drunk down to the very dregs…
Of course the Con must go on though even though the cup of delusion is being drunk, for how is Ron gonna live in his retirement years from now? But in the mean time it seems Ron’s gonna feed that delusion while at the same time the Con goes on!

I am so glad you left a comment on my Blog post! Thank you for sharing and providing the facts on this subject. I hope we can touch base, chat and compare notes sometime as I got sucked into the JW-Cult after I returned from Vietnam with PTSD, etc and was very vulnerable. Things are much better now that I found the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior about 10 years ago.

The next truth will be that he is gay…then when he announces it he will take off his suit to reveal the attire of “Bruno” the charachter of Sasha baron cohen (aka Ali G). Why do PKG-ers aisde this Trumpet per the definition of it in Rons own book and look forward to Trumpet #2?
Money is not Grass. Where is the event of Trumpet #1? Where are the deaths of many animals and many humans per Rons own book?

Oh excuses and some rather lame explantions where given in part or whole, but nothing has happened and Gods Great Tribulation marches on with with day to day affairs, good and bad happening, the sun still shines, people still laugh, children still play, people still work…
Where is the 1st Trumpet that puts all this to and end?
Where is the grass, animals, and human death in such staggering amounts that we will all be in such shock and awe that he, collectively as the human race, begin to see the portents of the final end that Ron would have us believe is being witness’d through him?

Where are these things that the First Trumpet is supposed to bring about?
You know how Ron always says that people can’t see because their eyes aren’t opened.
Well, I think that works the other way around.
That is, it’s the unfortunate members of his church who can’t see because THEIR eyes aren’t opened, as we all know.
Too bad they’re afraid (or forbidden) to look at websites such as this one where they would find some REAL food for critical thinking.
