False Prophet Ronald Weinland

False Prophet Ronald Weinland spoke from Las Vegas today.  No lay members were in attendance, as this is the weekend of the evangelists and senior elders meeting.  If he had allowed it, I imagine that a few lay members would have traveled hundreds of miles to see their spiritual idols.  Based on the description, these are the people who would be in Las Vegas for the conference:

• Ron and Laura Weinland, Cincinnati area
• Johnny Harrell, central Georgia
• Wayne and Chris Matthews, Australia
• Terry Wrozek, Jackson, Michigan
• Steve Dalrymple, Cincinnati area
• Jim Jamieson, Boise
• Jimmie Carlisle, Dallas
• William Milne, UK
• possibly Willem Henderson, Netherlands

Looking over this list, it makes you wonder why they didn’t have the conference in Cincinnati since three of them live in the area and another is close enough to Cincinnati to drive down in a day.  Jim Jamieson is closest to Las Vegas, but it’s still over 600 miles.  While I’ve heard that air fares to Las Vegas may be cheaper, I wonder if that offsets the costs of having everyone travel and the hotel rooms. Ron and Laura should have enough room in their mansion on the golf course to put up several from out of town and save on hotel bills.  I’ve heard an unconfirmed rumor that Ron has had meetings at Las Vegas in the past and likes to gamble.  That doesn’t fit in with my impression of Weinland so without confirmation I’ll consider it to be false — but it makes you go “hmmmm”.   And then Ron has a risk-making streak in him as shown by the big gamble with his prophetic timelines.

Ron did a bit of reminiscing.  After he broke his Toledo congregation away from UCG back in 1997, there was not enough time for them to organize their own feast site that year.  According to Ron, at that time he felt that it would have been presumptuous to have set up a feast site. But he changed his mind after attending Ron Dart’s feast site in Kissimmee, Florida and the Global site in Clearwater.  In 1998 some of his members organized a feast site at Niagara Falls.

According to Ron, the regional pastors in WCG knew of the coming apostasy a couple of years before Tkach made it official and they planned to resign in mass when it happened.  But after Tkach’s December 17, 1994 apostasy in Atlanta, many of them waited until UCG formed to assure a steady paycheck before resigning.  And UCG was too slow getting off the ground, with the 1995 conference in Indianapolis not being scheduled until a smaller group scheduled one in Houston.

Ron and Laura’s globetrotting began in November of 1999 with a European trip paid for with some of Steve Dalrymple’s frequent flier miles.  They became friends when Ron was assigned by WCG to Cincinnati in the mid-’80’s.

Ron is still tweaking the timeline chart on his website.  But it’s still has errors in it, the larger print implies that Pentecost of 2012 is part of the 1260 days and the 980 days when it is not part of those timelines but immediately follows.  Also that Pentecost of 1998 was on May 30th when it was actually on May 31st.

PKG is having a church-wide fast on Feb 6 in honor of the end of the first of the shortened half-times.  It seems that the trumpets will not strike before mid-March as he will be in Columbia, MO on March 13th.  But still no indication when my speedy death from the inside will happen.

Below we have some interesting quotes from “2008 – God’s Final Witness”:

• Page 2: Final end-time events that will lead into the great tribulation, at the opening of the Seventh Seal, have already begun.
• Page 4: This final stage is referred to as the great tribulation which is prophesied to last for a final three and one-half years.
• Page 10: End-time events will become far more devastating, growing in frequency, until we are finally thrown into the midst of the water when the final three and one-half years of great tribulation strike.
• Page 16: The other witness will be revealed to the world during the time of the great tribulation—within the final three and one-half years of man’s era.
• Page 60: This country is the focus for the beginning of great tribulation which will strike the earth in the final three and one-half years that precede the return of Jesus Christ, when He takes over the rule of all government on the earth.
• Page 64: The Seventh Trumpet sounds on the final day of the last three and one-half years of great tribulation,
• Page 79: The very last day of man’s self-rule—the last day of the three and one-half years of great tribulation—is marked by powerful events.
• Page 86: This will serve as one final witness to the Church before the devastation of the great tribulation strikes the whole world at the opening of the Seventh Seal.
• Page 96: All Seven Thunders will increase in power and recognition over the next two years (from the date of the first printing of this book) and on into the final three and one-half years of great tribulation.
• Page 107: However, every minister who was scattered, who fails to repent early on and return to God (with me, as God’s minister, teaching them) will die during the final three and one-half years of great tribulation.
• Page 115: When Jesus Christ opens the Seventh Seal of Revelation, God declares that the final three and one-half years of great tribulation will begin, and man’s self-rule will be brought to an end.
• Page 129: Therefore, on this last day of the three and one-half years of great tribulation,
• Page 174: Not only that, God also will move the spirit world to facilitate in limiting the great tribulation to exactly three and one-half years.

False Prophet Ronald Weinland’s book is quite clear, the Great Tribulation begins with the opening of the Seventh Seal, and lasts for three and one-half years.  The quotes on pages 16 and 60 are a bit ambiguous and could be interpreted to allow a shorter length, so I expect if Ron addresses this he will parse those quotes and ignore all the others which are clear as to the length.  Weinland acknowledges that the tribulation is not yet great, and during his Last Great Day sermon changed the duration of the Great Tribulation from the 1260 days of the 3 and 1/2 prophetic years to only be 980 days, and actually less because we’re down to 941 days remaining until the non-return of Jesus Christ. Before the first timeline, he had changed the timing already — the Great Tribulation was not to start with the first opening of the Seventh Seal on March 18, 2008 but rather after “30 days of silence” at the first blowing of the First Trumpet on April 17, 2008.

God progressively reveals, blah, blah, blah.  Except on page 29 of God’s Final Witness, we read:

This book does not originate from the prejudices of man; its message comes from the inspiration and revelation of God Almighty given to one of His prophets. given to one of His prophets.

So it would seem that God inspired Ron to lie about when the 1260 days started, so he had to come up with a second timeline.  And he inspired him to lie about the duration of the Great Tribulation, so he explained it away as being a shorter time.  What else did God inspire Ron to lie about?

False Prophet Ronald Weinland spoke from a hot and cold meeting room in the Detroit area today.  Members who are part of the sealing are still suffering medical woes, even as times reset.  Elder Don Edwards is facing bypass surgery, and long-time member Neva Williams who is related to quite a number of other PKG members is possibly facing spinal surgery.  Some of the sealed will die before Christ doesn’t return on Pentecost of 2012, all of them will die with Christ still having failed to make his UFO-like appearance in the skies over Jerusalem.

Next week Ron will be having a meeting with his evangelists and senior elders in Las Vegas.  Perhaps Ron will take a break from gambling on his prophecies by gambling on the blackjack tables during the breaks between giving deputy sheriff lessons to his flunkies. Unconfirmed reports are that he enjoys this.  Ron, unless your card-counting skills are better than your day-counting skills, better not try it.

Today’s was the first of what Ron threatens to be a long sermon series titled “Our Journey of Faith”.  Ron promised a few carrots along the way.  Then Ron proceeded to speak about various preparations that have been made which included Swiss bank accounts for a time, storing gold and silver, and setting aside food and medical supplies. The aspect of faith is that these are not “just in case” preparation, but with a firm expectation that they’ll soon be necessary.

The constant lack of fulfilled prophecies has been trying on some of the new members, a few of whom have left.  On the other hand, those in “the scattering” who are “sealed” are well used to this sort of thing, with the end always being 5 to 10 years off and each new car expected to be the last one.  Back in 1977, Ron’s father-in-law reacted to the news that Audra on the way, not with joy at becoming a grandparent but rather, with concern about bringing a child into the world in the end time.

Ron must have recently acquired the E-Sword program.  E-Sword is a nifty set of software and databases which include various translations of the bible, as well as commentaries and concordances.  It include concordances which cross-reference to the original Hebrew and Greek words.  During his Last Great Day sermon, he proof-texted his revision of “time” using Hebrew words.  Today he went Greek on a word γίνομαι meaning (depending on the context) “come to pass”.  Those wanting to follow along in future sermons as the false prophet cherry picks interpretations may want to download the free software which includes the King James Version with Strong’s Numbers and Stong’s Dictionary, and add on the King James Concordance available as a downloadable add-on.

According to Ron, the earliest the 5th Trumpet will blow is June 27 next year (”time” plus one day) and the latest is August 21, 2011 (”times” and a half plus one day).  The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th trumpets could all blow on one day.  However, he did not clarify the timeframe that my quick death from the inside will happen according to the curse he declared against me 44 weeks ago.

False Prophet Ronald Weinland graduated in 1975 from unaccredited Ambassador College with a major in theology and a minor in math. I expect that his math courses were taken at the accredited institutions he attended prior to Ambassador. Ron puts his math minor to use in justifying his false prophecies.

This post discusses his new version of his 50th untruth, but first bear with me through a short math lesson. Any natural number can be computed as a product or multiplication of two or more natural numbers.  A special case are prime numbers: a prime number is a product only of 1 and itself.  The first few primes are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, and 13.  Non-prime numbers can be expressed as a product of two or more prime numbers.

The number 1260 can be computed as a product of primes: 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 7.  The number 280 is a product of primes: 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 7.  Ron’s significant number 280 (sign of judgment and now mercy) has one more “2″ as a factor and therefore does not divide evenly into 1260.  The result of the division of “time” into 1260 is 4.5 — or time, time, times, and half-a-time.  Ron throws away the first time as “judgment mercy” and is left with (ta-da) time, times, and half-a-time.

Ron has no biblical basis for his claim that a “time” is 280 days instead of 360 days, despite the convoluted explanation he gave last Saturday.  All he has is his disproven claim to be a prophet eligible to reveal new “truth”.  Daniel 12:7 mentions “time, times, and half-a-time” described by a man clothed in linen.  Which can’t be Ron, since he after all he is wearing sackcloth, right?

Daniel 12 follows up in verse 12 with “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.” right after verse 11 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.”  So in Daniel, the 1335th day occurs after the 1260th day, but in Weinlandism the 1335th day occurs before the 1260th day since Weinland’s count is backwords.

All rather confusing.  But PKG members have it easy, all they have to do is to remember the latest “truth” or re-explanation of the “truth” as given by their spiritual idol, the false prophet Ronald Weinland.

Here are the dates associated with Weinland’s second version of the second timeline:

• December 14, 2008: The first trumpet blew (silently).  Ron and Laura “began their jobs” while in Jerusalem after a jaunt to Cairo to tour the pyramids.
• September 19, 2009: Feast of Trumpets: The end of the zeroeth “time” or 280 days into the not-so-Great Tribulation.  With 280 days being a sign of judgment, and Ron being too sick to speak that day.
• February 6, 2010: Half-a-time or 140 days after Trumpets, 2009.  The PKG members are to fast, but only for one day.  Ron promises another barn-burner borer of a sermon this day.
• June 26, 2011: Time.  Earliest that the European beast power will become active.
• November 13, 2011: Time and half-a-time
• April 2, 2011: Times
• August 20, 2011: Times and half-a-time.  Latest that the European beast power becomes active.
• January 7, 2012: Time and Times.  The 200-million-man Asiatic horde army might not become active until this time.  Yet somehow they will be able to assemble, arm, and mobilize this army of unprecedented size in less than 140 days and have it in place in the valley of Megiddo for the last few days of the Great Tribulation
• May 22, 2012 at sunrise in Jerusalem: Ron and Laura are killed in the streets of Jerusalem
• May 26, 2012: End of Time, Times, and Half-a-Time: Day before Pentecost.  Jesus Christ to return at sundown which ends this day and begins Pentecost.
• May 27, 2012: Ron and Laura having been resurrected from the streets of Jerusalem begin their new jobs as rulers in God’s Kingdom.

Careful observers will note that certain of these dates are not Saturdays: Nov. 29 is a Sunday, and Feb. 2 and Feb 9 are both Tuesdays. Are these high days? No. Is Ron changing sabbath observance to other days of the week? I doubt it. Rather, I expect it’s just another exhibit of of False Prophet Math and Calendar Reading skills. Note: the February dates were corrected on Oct 22, but the Nov 29 date remains unchanged.

Since Ron expects to be able to travel well into February, the Great Tribulation is delayed for at least half-a-time even in his shortened timeline.  If the demise of the US is to occur by June and Ron will be able to travel into Feb., then the first 5 trumpets will have to blow quickly beginning in mid-February.  Wait a minute — the demise of the US was to be no later than last June, according to the last page of “2008 — God’s Final Witness”.  Just as my death from the inside was supposed to be quick, according to the death curse Ron called on me 43 weeks ago.

I’ve posted several times about James Malm.  James put out a prophetic timeline involving the 1335 day interval between Trumpets of 2008 and Pentecost of 2012 well before Ron did.  But unlike Ron, he quickly within a day or so of Trumpets acknowledged that it wasn’t the one.  Then three months ago I posted about James Malm’s latest prophetic speculation which has today, Oct 19, as a significant day.  I emailed James this weekend to ask: (more…)
