One time, I threw the paper towels I had dried my hands off with towards the trash bin but I missed and I just left them there.

I just had to get that off my chest. My only wish is to have seen Ron going in after me.

Ain’t it the truth?
The google add campaign (and all the huge amounts of money it takes up?) brings in the young who want action according to the google adds that brought them to Ron’s site in the first place… but nothing is happening. Weekly dull sermans with comments about “bed making” etc… without the Big Show daily destruction and Revelation of God Almighty!
We’re 20% into the 2nd 42 month Great Tribulation Timeline and nothing is happening.
Must be hard on the young new comer no doubt…

The tried and true WCG harliners will stay for the whole ride, regardless of how boring it becomes, out of superiority complexes & flat out fear.
But how can Ron gain more income from the, as Mike already states “Mined out” old crew. Ron needs cash my friends to fund his super expensive internet ministry and publishing all those books for free… well they ain’t free and I can only wonder how many are actually being printed these days as they are out of date?

I can understand Rons delemma, the young & new want action on the stage as the curtain has gone up but Ron is loathe to give such due to being wrong so often… But at the same time Ron needs the cash.
What to do? Give more prophecy and be wrong or give no prophecy and loose cash?

Little by little, his world is imploding. I doubt we will see a dramatic end to his “ministry”, but a trickling away of members. I love hearing him talk about people defecting.
I don’t know how much appetite people will have for him to be their spiritual leader outside of his brazen predictions. The Internet crowd won’t stick around long. The former WCG hardliners will be the last to go.

To read Ron’s letter to Moses, and then Moses’ reply (which was polite, courteous, and yet to the point) it just shows the contrast between the two, and really shines the light on Ron as being a nutcase.

To me, Ron would be wise to not be inclined to accept Moses’ offer to continue the communication.

Anything more, such as a further defence of his position, would just make Ron look all the more goofy.

Also, I wouldn’t think that God is too happy with Ron, having provided this opportunity to “begin to be recognized”, and then Ron throwing it all away because he can’t handle someone poking fun at it. A self-defeating character flaw for a true Prophet.

Do you recall HWA statement in his autobiography where he said that each morning he would get up first, so he could comb his hair and dress out of respect for his wife? This was one of HWA ideas about how one should treat a woman. Once again, in Weinland’s mind, making his side of the bed shows respect for his wife. Considering his lack of hair, he decided that he would do the next best thing. Weinland got this idea from HWA and it does show how much he is in love with his idol and how he desires to be like him.
